Homoploid hybrid speciation(HHS),where genetic contributions from two species combine to produce a third species without a change in pioidy,remains an intriguing and enigmatic evolutionary process.Genomic studies in the past decade have shown that introgression and admixture between species is common,and yet well documented cases of HHS remain rare(Schumer et al.,2014;Marques et al.,2019).This strikes at a key feature of HHS;it is a far higher bar to prove that hybridization was critical for speciation than it is to show that introgression occurred.The former requires us to know how reproductive isolation(RI)is achieved,identify hybrid ancestry,and definitively link hybrid ancestry with reproductive isolation.With this in mind,the work by Wang et al.(2020)fully documenting a case of HHS is particularly impressive in terms of both the scope and clarity of the results.

Artificial neural network （ANN） method and chemical bond parameter method can be used. together to investigate the regularities of inorganic materials. Since the trained neural networks are useful for knowledge representation in chemical expert systems, the ANN is used to investigate the alloy phases, as the preliminary work in the development of alloy design expert system. Here, the results of the investigation on filled AuCu3 phases are reported.

Objective To explore the method of treating serious secondary fronto-orbital fracture deformities through intro-extra cranial approach. Methods The fronto-orbital fracture was divided into two types according to whether there were any large scale fronto-otbital bone defects; typeⅠ: Large scale fronto-orbital bone defect; type Ⅱ: Concave fronto-orbital fracture deformity without large scale bone defect. Both types were treated throuth intro-extra cranial approach to expose the fracture site. For typel deformity, the bone defects were repaired and reconstructed with outer table of cranial bone and artificial bone. For type Ⅱ, the deformity was repaired by osteotomy, bone reposition and internal rigid fixation. Results 18 cases were treated from June 1998 to October 2000, include typeⅠ, 12 cases, and typeⅡ, 6 cases. All the patients recovered well and the post-operative appearance were greatly improved. Conclusion intro-extra cranial approach can June 2003 Vol12 No2 expose the fractured site better

● From the start of nationwide fund raising for power construction after the Document No. 111 issuedby the State Council in 1987 to the start of power institutional reform early this century, duringthese 20 years, China's power industry developed rapidly and made great achievements.● The 20- year history of raising funds for power construction indicates that this policy is very wiseand correct. It aroused enthusiasm from both the central government and the local government,and contributed greatly to the historic leap of installed capacity from 100 GWin 1987 to 600 GWin 2006.● The practice of 20 years can be summarized as follows.
