The computational fluid dynamics(CFD)technology is analyzed and calculated utilizing the turbulence model and multiphase flow model to explore the performance of internal circulating fluidized beds(ICFB)based on CFD.The three-dimensional simulation method can study the hydrodynamic properties of the ICFB,and the performance of the fluidized bed is optimized.The fluidization performance of the ICFB is improved through the experimental study of the cross-shaped baffle.Then,through the cross-shaped baffle and funnel-shaped baffle placement,the fluidized bed reaches a coupled optimization.The results show that CFD simulation technology can effectively improve the mass transfer efficiency and performance of sewage treatment.The base gap crossshaped baffle can improve the hydraulic conditions of the fluidized bed and reduce the system energy consumption.The cross-shaped baffle and funnel-shaped baffle can perfect the performance of the reactor and effectively strengthen the treatment in the intense aerobic process of industrial sewage.

Denitrification plays an important role in nitrogen(N) removal in freshwater ecosystems.This internal process regulates the fluctuations of N concentration, especially for lakes with high nutrients concentrations and long residence time. Lakes in Yunnan plateau(southwestern China) provide typical cases, while studies in this region have been rare.Therefore, we studied denitrification of two lakes(Lake Dianchi in hypereutrophic state and Lake Erhai in mesotrophic) in this region. We used acetylene inhibition technique to quantify potential denitrification rate(PDR) of these lakes in April and August, 2015 and 2016. PDR of the sediments ranged 0–1.21 μmol/(N·m^2·hr), and that of overlying water ranged 0–0.24 μmol/(N·L·hr). Then, we used Least Angle Regression to determine the controlling factors for denitrification. Nutrients controlled PDR from two aspects: providing essential nitrogen sources; and affecting the richness and metabolism of denitrifying bacteria. In April, both aspects limited PDR; while only nitrogen sources limited PDR in August, due to depleted nitrate and enhanced denitrifying bacteria activity. Ammonia was most significant to denitrification, indicating that nitrate from nitrification transported to the bottom of wellmixed lake provide major N source by denitrification. The high PDR and low nitrate concentrate in August were evidence of an enhanced internal N cycling by algal blooms.

Introduction The major complication of placenta accreta spectrum(PAS)disorder is massive bleeding;therefore,multiple vascular interventions have been described to prevent or treat pelvic bleeding.Ligature of the internal iliac arteries(IIAs)was published more than 130 years ago,and although research relating to the physiology of this procedure has demonstrated poor vascular control over the last few decades,2-this technique has evolved into an established technique known as endovascular IIA balloon occlusion.

Uncovering the mechanism of hydrogen sulfide(H2S)in improving rice seed germination under aluminum(Al)toxicity conditions is important for rice production in acidic soil.In the present study,an Al sensitive rice variety Kasalath was used.Pretreatment with 0.1 mmol/L sodium hydrosulfide(NaHS,H2S donor)under 70 mmol/L AlCl3(indicated as Al+NaHS treatment)increased rice seed germination by 27.95%,germination potential by 474.16%,and the germination index by 43.44%,compared with Al treatment.The treatment of Al+NaHS reduced the Al content in rice seeds by 16.31%and 32.11%and increased the internal H2S content by 3.82%and 8.90%at 3 and 5 d of treatment,respectively,compared with Al treatment.Al+NaHS treatment significantly increased the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)。

Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)and cytomegalovirus(CMV),two of the most prevalent human herpesviruses,cause a wide spectrum of diseases and symptoms and are associated with serious health problem.In this study,we developed an internal control reference recombinase-aided amplification(ICR-RAA)assay for the rapid detection of EBV and CMV within 30 min.The assay had a sensitivity of 5 and 1 copies/test for EBV and CMV,respectively,with no cross reaction with other pathogens.In comparison with those of the commercial quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR),the sensitivity of the EBV and CMV ICR-RAAs using extracted DNA was 93.33%and 84.84%,respectively;the specificity was 98.75%and 100.00%,respectively;and the Kappa values were 0.930 and 0.892(P<0.05),respectively.In comparison with those of qPCR,the sensitivity of the EBV and CMV ICR-RAAs using the DNA by thermal lysis was 72.22%and 80.00%,respectively;the specificity was 100.00%。

internal ballistic simulation(IBS)method of multi-burning-rate solid rocket motor(SRM)was developed based on 3-D burning regression method by parameterized feature CAD model(PFCADM)and lumped parameter,in consideration of time-dependent,erosive-burning-effect from internal ballistic numerical algorithm.By driving multi-parameter CAD model based on PFCADM,the approach is capable of conducting the geometric regression simulation of various grain combinations of complex configurations with different burning rates.Through suitably simplifying the internal ballistic numerical algorithm,the problems of coupling geometric regression simulation of sub-grains of different burning rates and high computational consumption of internal ballistic calculation were solved.One tri-burning-rate grain motor,which had been firing-tested,was used as the validation case of simulation.The results show that,with the 3-D grain regression model and sufficient accurate internal ballistic algorithm,the method realizes IBS of the case in low computationalconsumption prediction of its performance within the accuracy of 2% during 1hclock-time.The application of the method provides a practical approach to aid SRM design of multi-burning-rate grain.

AIM:To compare the outcomes of four adjuvants used for internal limiting membrane(ILM)peeling in macular hole surgery,including indocyanine green(ICG),brilliant blue G(BBG),triamcinolone(TA)and trypan blue(TB),through systematic review and random-effects Bayesian network Meta-analysis.METHODS:PubMed,Cochrane library databases and Web of Science were searched until August 2018 for clinical trials comparing the above four adjuvants.ORs for postoperative best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)improvement and primary macular hole closure rates were compared between the different adjuvants.RESULTS:Twenty-seven eligible articles were included.For postoperative BCVA improvement,results of BBGassisted peeling were significantly more favorable than those of ICG(WMD 0.08,95%credible interval 0.01-0.16)and TA ranked highest.No significant differences were found between any other two groups in postoperative BCVA improvement.For postoperative primary macular hole closure rates,BBG ranked highest.However,no significant differences were shown between any two groups.CONCLUSION:TA and BBG are the optimum adjuvants for achieving postoperative BCVA improvement macular hole surgery with adjuvant-assisted ILM peeling.Among all adjuvants,the use of BBG is associated with the highest postoperative macular hole closure rate.

Nonlocal and strain gradient effects on nonlinear forced vibration of axially moving nanobeams under internal resonance conditions

Based on the nonlocal strain gradient theory(NSGT), a model is proposed for an axially moving nanobeam with two kinds of scale effects. The internal resonanceaccompanied fundamental harmonic response of the external excitation frequency in the vicinities of the first and second natural frequencies is studied by adopting the multivariate Lindstedt-Poincaré(L-P) method. Based on the root discriminant of the frequencyamplitude equation under internal resonance conditions, theoretical analyses are performed to investigate the scale effects of the resonance region and the critical external excitation amplitude. Numerical results show that the region of internal resonance is related to the amplitude of the external excitation. Particularly, the internal resonance disappears after a certain critical value of the external excitation amplitude is reached.It is also shown that the scale parameters, i.e., the nonlocal parameters and the material characteristic length parameters, respectively, reduce and increase the critical amplitude,leading to a promotion or suppression of the occurrence of internal resonance. In addition,the scale parameters affect the size of the enclosed loop of the bifurcated solution curves as well by changing their intersection, divergence, or tangency.
