The fossilization of interlanguage has long been a universal problem in foreign language learning and teaching, thus winning the concerns of foreign teachers and researchers. The paper analyzes the causes of this phenomenon which is expected to be beneficial to oral English teaching of growing cadre students in military academy, and then gives some suggestions in their oral English teaching, combining with the characteristics of growing cadre students' English learning.

interlanguage,which functions as a relatively systematic transition from initial knowledge of a language to native proficiency during the process of language acquisition,is always regarded as an unstable set of language characteristics produced by learners. Its fossilization is a universal phenomenon in SLA and it derives from multiple factors. Through the research into interlanguage and its fossilization,we should hold a totally different view from traditional one on the nature and function of teacher’s training, teaching materials and the handling of the learners’ errors, etc.

Fossilization is a term coined in the 1970s to refer to"frozen"language *** and researchers have been studying the phenomena and trying to understand the changes in interlanguage,a person’s own internal language that seems to exist between native language and target *** interlanguage appears to be changeable,fossilization,a more permanent state,has been broadened to include stabilization which is *** purpose of this paper is to discuss fossilization,interlanguage,and stabilization and to give an updated synopsis about these concepts to *** addition,instruction and feedback are controversial methods for helping learners change their interlanguage and language learners need a broad range of activities and strategies to improve their target language *** fossilization or temporary fossilization(stabilization)exists in the interlanguage of all language learners,a discussion of consciousness-raising activities,as well as suggestions for peer feedback are included that could benefit language learners.

Authentic and objective material with regard to a certain language is the bare necessity and premise of any kind of linguistic research and then on the basis of the data, corpus-based approach, which is also addressed as a performance-based approach, has been involved in almost every corner of linguistics. Thus far, it is hardly surprising that some typical Corpora are essential for contemporary Chinese EFL's study. WECCL 2.0, as a representative of interlanguage corpus, is introduced in this paper.
