Zoonoses account for the majority of emerging infectious diseases and pose a serious threat to human and animal health.Under global warming and climate change,zoonoses are significantly affected by influencing hosts,vectors,and pathogen dynamics as well as their in-teractions.Traditional zoonoses surveillance relies on molecular or serological diagnostic methods to monitor pathogens from animal or patient samples,which may miss the early warning signs of pathogens spillover from the environment.Nowadays,new technologies such as remote sensing,environment-based screening,multi-omics,and big data science facilitate comprehensive active surveillance,offering great potential for early warning and prediction.Despite the recent technological advances,there is few reviews that explores the integration of cutting-edge technologies aimed at constructing a robust early warning system.Therefore,we discussed the opportunities,barriers,and limitations of interdisciplinary emerging technologies for exploring early warning and surveillance of zoonoses.This systematic review summarized a practical framework for early surveillance integrated with a modified SEIR model for zoonoses in the context of climate change.It also outlined challenges and future prospects in terms of data sharing,early detection of unknown zoonoses and the move towards global surveillance.

Scientific Data Intellectual Property Research by Literature Statistics

The main obstacle to the open sharing of scientific data is the lack of a legal protection system for intellectual property.This article analyzes the progress of research papers on intellectual property in scientific data in China through literature search and statistics.Currently,research subjects are unbalanced,research content is uneven,research methods are intellectual single,and research depth is insufficient.It is recommended that different stakeholders engage in deep cross disciplinary cooperation,further improve China’s legal and policy protection system for scientific data intellectual property,and promote the open sharing of scientific data.

This review outlines the benefits of using multiple approaches to improve model design and facilitate multidisciplinary research into infectious diseases,as well as showing and proposing practical examples of effective integration.It looks particularly at the benefits of using participatory research in conjunction with traditional modelling methods to potentially improve disease research,control and management.Integrated approaches can lead to more realistic mathematical models which in turn can assist with making policy decisions that reduce disease and benefit local people.The emergence,risk,spread and control of diseases are affected by many complex bio-physical,environmental and socio-economic factors.These include climate and environmental change,land-use variation,changes in population and people’s behaviour.The evidence base for this scoping review comes from the work of a consortium,with the aim of integrating modelling approaches traditionally used in epidemiological,ecological and development research.A total of five examples of the impacts of participatory research on the choice of model structure are presented.Example 1 focused on using participatory research as a tool to structure a model.Example 2 looks at identifying the most relevant parameters of the system.Example 3 concentrates on identifying the most relevant regime of the system(e.g.,temporal stability or otherwise),Example 4 examines the feedbacks from mathematical models to guide participatory research and Example 5 goes beyond the so-far described two-way interplay between participatory and mathematical approaches to look at the integration of multiple methods and frameworks.This scoping review describes examples of best practice in the use of participatory methods,illustrating their potential to overcome disciplinary hurdles and promote multidisciplinary collaboration,with the aim of making models and their predictions more useful for decision-making and policy formulation.

Exploring the Significance and Path of interdisciplinary Integration of Art Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

With the advent of the artificial intelligence(AI)era,there is a need to create a more flexible and humanistic educational ecosystem to adapt to the changes.Education needs to move from a unidirectional focus on skills to the cultivation of creative“whole people.”Due to the non-standardized evaluation system of the art discipline,its education has a unique advantage for the cultivation of students’creativity.At the same time,the interdisciplinary integration of fine arts points to the educational goals in the era of AI and the educational requirements for cultivating students’core qualities in China.Therefore,this paper analyzes the theoretical basis and developmental evolution of interdisciplinary integration,studies the significance of interdisciplinary integration in art education from the three levels of students,teaching,and disciplines,and explores four effective paths to realize interdisciplinary integration in art education in the era of AI.In this way,students can realize the contextualized analysis of knowledge,in-depth understanding of the content of the discipline,and accurate expression of the spiritual values embedded in art interdisciplinary learning.The ultimate goal is to cultivate students’ability to solve complex problems,promote the development of students’free personalities,and respond to the national education requirements.

Heart Team emerged as an important tool in the cardiovascular care,improving the efficiency of decision-making process.In addition to the benefits in patient care,it symbolizes a new culture and mindset.However,beyond the clinical condition,in low/middle-income countries other concerns arise regarding patient's background and these demands are,usually,as challenging as the medical treatment.New models have been proposed face these demands and to assure a holistic care by Integrated Practice Units.Optimization and reorganization of already existing resources and promotion of interdisciplinary and holistic care may be an effective manner to improve outcomes despite socioeconomic barriers.

Identification and Prediction of interdisciplinary Research Topics: A Study Based on the Concept Lattice Theory

Purpose: Formal concept analysis(FCA) and concept lattice theory(CLT) are introduced for constructing a network of IDR topics and for evaluating their effectiveness for knowledge structure exploration.Design/methodology/approach: We introduced the theory and applications of FCA and CLT, and then proposed a method for interdisciplinary knowledge discovery based on CLT. As an example of empirical analysis, interdisciplinary research(IDR) topics in Information & Library Science(LIS) and Medical Informatics, and in LIS and Geography-Physical, were utilized as empirical fields. Subsequently, we carried out a comparative analysis with two other IDR topic recognition methods.Findings: The CLT approach is suitable for IDR topic identification and predictions.Research limitations: IDR topic recognition based on the CLT is not sensitive to the interdisciplinarity of topic terms, since the data can only reflect whether there is a relationship between the discipline and the topic terms. Moreover, the CLT cannot clearly represent a large amounts of concepts.Practical implications: A deeper understanding of the IDR topics was obtained as the structural and hierarchical relationships between them were identified, which can help to get more precise identification and prediction to IDR topics.Originality/value: IDR topics identification based on CLT have performed well and this theory has several advantages for identifying and predicting IDR topics. First, in a concept lattice, there is a partial order relation between interconnected nodes, and consequently, a complete concept lattice can present hierarchical properties. Second, clustering analysis of IDR topics based on concept lattices can yield clusters that highlight the essential knowledge features and help display the semantic relationship between different IDR topics. The development of an interdisciplinary nurse educator doctoral program: Issues for consideration and goals for success

The nursing shortage is exacerbated by the faculty shortage, as faculty approach retirement age and too few faculty exist to replace them. Masters-prepared nurse with limited preparation for teaching may be unable to attend traditional educational programs because of work and family commitments. Without further academic preparation, these nurses are illprepared for the faculty role. The College of Nursing partnered with the College of Education to develop a nurse educator degree program to prepare nurses for the faculty role. Blended and online courses are provided by the Colleges of Nursing. The EdD. in Instructional Leadership for Nurse Educators degree can be completed in three years of coursework followed by dissertation research.

Water Shortage in MENA Region: An interdisciplinary Overview and a Suite of Practical Solutions

The chronic water shortage in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region is a perplexing issue, undoubtedly because various operational sectors, multi-institutions and stakeholders are inextricably interconnected. In the light of climate variability and the unprecedented population growth rate, the per capita water resources and biocapacity will continue plummeting, and the demand-gap will seriously expand. Existing water quantification agreements have been deemed inefficient to solve the problem of naturally diminishing water resources and thus require immediate re-assembling. Most scholarly endeavors, including key international organizations, NGOs, and “Think Tank” policy briefs have limitedly addressed water shortage in contexts of regional politics, mass media, and, importantly, from social psychology perspectives. Therefore, a thorough analysis and interdisciplinary approach is required to find a feasible and suitable framework of solutions and from a multi-perspective podium. A synthesis of cross-sectorial bottlenecks that are crucial to water management is presented, and a suite of practical recommendations are introduced to water authorities and governments. This study argues that in the shadow of the region’s political instability, the clash of ideologies and its repercussions, and issues of national security and sovereignty, regional cooperation on water issues remain prognostications. In this essence, governments of MENA countries are urged to develop measures to substantially increase the water supply through innovative approaches. Such measures include enhancing the capacities of water harvesting, maximizing the storage capacities of the built dams, and deploying groundwater recharge techniques. Furthermore, seawater and brackish water desalination through clean energy technologies is a contemporary solution with socio-economic and multiple benefits. The health of senior citizens is an important concern in the context of an aging population in China.Based on changes to and the characteristics of senior health in the new era,it is both important and necessary to promote research on senior health from an interdisciplinary perspective.An analytical framework that takes in society,behavior,psychology,environment,and genetic inheritance is the basis for interdisciplinary research on senior health.The core topics of this research focus on the factors that influence senior health,the allocation of resources for senior health,senior health equity,and the relationship of senior health to the labor market.At the same time,research on senior health is still subject to various constraints,such as the failure to develop a theoretical framework,insufficient depth and breadth of research practices,the need to better integrate the health data platforms,the relative weakness of human resources training efforts,and insufficient links and cooperation between government,enterprises,universities,and research institutes.In the future,comprehensively improving the research level of senior health in China must be a priority.A theoretical system for interdisciplinary research of senior health in China must be developed,and the focus of research should be in line with the national con-ditions.A unified sharing platform for data resources must be built,innovative train-ing programs developed for human resources,and interconnections between govern-ment,enterprises,universities,and research institutes must be strengthened.
