A METHODOLOGY FOR integrated management system

ISO 9000 certification has been considered as an effective competitive edge for manufacturing industries. In Hong Kong, the ISO 9000 certification has been widely adopted and extended to service industries for the sole purpose of enhancing corporate image. However, complaints have been voiced by many certified organizations about increasing paperwork, non direct labour and excessive resources channelled into non core business. This paper is to propound the integrated management system, a single management system focusing on business purpose yet being flexible enough to integrate the requirements of various management standards such as the ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and future ISO 18000. This paper describes how the proposed system could be implemented to achieve the desired business results.

Intelligent integrated Model for Improving Performance in Power Plants

Industry 4.0 is expected to play a crucial role in improving energy management and personnel performance in power *** performance problem in maintaining power plants is the result of both human errors,human factors and the poor implementation of automation in energy *** problem can potentially be solved using artificial intelligence(AI)and an integrated management system(IMS).This article investigates the current challenges to improving personnel and energy management performance in power plants,identifies the critical success factors(CSFs)for an integrated intelligent framework,and develops an intelligent framework that enables power plants to improve *** theoretical basis is founded on a systematic literature review to locate 110 out of 3108 papers studied carefully to examine the performance architecture that best enables effective *** findings from this literature review are combined with expert judgment and the big data advantages of AI applications to develop an intelligent *** are collected from a power plant in *** ensure the reliability of the proposed model,various hypotheses are tested using structural equation *** results confirm that the measurement model is acceptable,and that the hypotheses are supported and significant.A case study demonstrates the strong relationship and significance between big data of performance and the *** is hoped that this model will be adopted to enable performance improvement in power plants.

IMPROVING FERTILIZATION METHODS AND CROPPING systemS FOR SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION OF PEARL MILLET (PENNISETUM GLAUCUM) IN WEST AFRICA: A REVIEW

West African countries are among the larger global millet producers but have low yields mainly due to the low quality of their marginal *** objectives of this work were to analyze the benefits and constraints of pearl millet production,to summarize the impact of different cropping systems and fertilization modes while proposing a holistic approach for sustainable *** major constraints on millet yields are low rates or absence of fertilizers,unsuitable cropping systems,and the proliferation of pests and *** with cowpea is a widely used cropping system in addition to crop rotation,monocropping and agroforestry *** is the best fertilization mode for West African *** is concluded that integrated systems(breeding new cultivars,intercropping and microdosing)in tied ridges or infiltration pit practices,sustained by the implementation of innovative approaches such as the‘Science and Technology Backyards’from China are a promising approach for increasing pearl millet *** addition,policies such as land protection of the farmers and subsidies of inputs from the government and the effective involvement of farmers and extension officers are necessary in sustaining millet production in West Africa.

Risk Analysis and Impact of Raw Materials for Achievement of Sustainable Quality of Biscuit Products

This publication considers the possibilities of achieving sustainable indicators for the quality of biscuit products through management of purchasing processes, risk analysis and impact study of raw materials as part of the quality management system. On the basis of the results from this research it can be assumed that the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis （FMEA） can be applied in risk management and risk analysis of raw materials used in manufacturing the product and in achieving sustainable quality of the finished product. Analysis of raw materials impact was carried out with the aim of achieving sustainable sensory indicators for biscuit products. It was established that the integrated approach, applied in managing and solving problems related to authenticity, quality and safety of raw materials, contributes to manufacturing biscuit products with sustainable quality and in conformity with customer requirements.

企业社会责任(CSR)管理是中国企业获得国际竞争优势和可持续发展的战略重点，但目前还没有一个明确的管理体系标准。本文采用了内容分析方法，对CSR管理的模式、ISO26000《社会责任指南》以及与CSR相关的管理体系标准等方面进行了研究。结果表明：与CSR管理相关的管理体系具有高度的结构相似性特征，并且ISO26000核心主题与相关管理体系要素在内容上具有相互包含和互补的协调性特征。由此得出CSR管理体系能够整合相关管理体系形成一体化管理体系的结论，进而提出了CSR管理体系的结构、主要内容和实施建议。
