Precipitation is one of the most important parameters in Earth system but is hard to *** began to develop satellites dedicated to precipitation measurements in the second generation of the FengYun polarorbiting meteorological satellite program(FY-3).The first of total 2 rainfall missions scheduled,FY-3G,was successfully launched on 16 April 2023 and became the world’s third satellite to measure precipitation with space-borne radar after the tropical rainfall measuring mission in 1997 and global precipitation measurement core observatory in *** this manuscript,we illustrate the platform of FY-3G and instruments mounted in great detail,with additional information about ground segments,designed sensor-based products,and retrieval of geophysical *** the 4 months after launch,the specifications of the platform and instruments are under inspection as calibration and validation are carefully *** first images captured by FY-3G are encouraging,and initial results show a strong capability for providing insights into all kinds of precipitation *** important work of data processing,such as data assimilation,data fusion between space-based and ground-based radar,and that between polar and geostationary satellites,as well as future applications in weather modification,has been prepared in *** a pioneer of China’s rainfall missions,FY-3G greatly improves our ability to provide global precipitation measurements,understand Earth’s water and energy cycle,and forecast extreme events for the benefit of society.

Research on market-based policy instruments for eco-environmental protection

The selection of policy instruments involves policy efficiency and policy *** settlement of eco-environment problems in the process of industrialization and implementation of active eco-environment protection depend on the innovation of policy *** this paper,based on a descriptive analysis of the policy instruments for ecoenvironmental protection of our country,combined with the theoretical analysis and the empirical research on current marketization of eco-environmental protection,the authors indicate that eco-environmental problems originate fi'om the damage of eco-environment and the extemalities of eco-service,and that the market-based policy instruments which are helpful to balance the relationship between fight,responsibility and interest in the eco-service are effective measures to eliminate externalities and protect eco-environment.

Quality of life at work is an important and widely discussed concept in the *** instruments can be used to measure it,but with regard to healthcare and social services,the existing instruments are not well known.A review of available instruments intending to capture the quality of life of healthcare and social services workers(QoLHSSW)is necessary to better assess their working conditions and promote programs/guidelines to improve these *** aim of this study was to identify the existing instruments used in measuring QoLHSSW and explore their *** attention was given to instruments adapted to the province of Quebec,Canada,which enabled the determination of which instruments are adapted for the measurement of QoLHSSW in Quebec and possibly elsewhere.A systematic review of the literature was conducted according to the JBI methodological *** articles'selection procedure was performed according to the PRISMA *** search was conducted up to October 28,2021,and then updated on January 25,2023,in four databases:PsycINFO,Medline,Embase,and *** selection and extraction were performed independently by two *** analysis of the quality of the studies was performed with the COnsensus‐based Standards for the selection of health Measurement *** a total of 8178 entries,13 articles corresponding to 13 instruments were *** these instruments,the common aspects that were considered were work conditions,job satisfaction,stress at work,relationship/balance,and career *** instruments used a 5‐point Likert *** validation methods were used,including reporting Cronbach's alpha for overall scale reliability;factor analysis to test construct validity;different model fit indices to test model superiority;different language comparisons to test cross‐cultural validity;and qualitative expert reviews to assess content validity.

The present paper contains the results of a review of economic instruments for water resources management in the Republic of Buryatia prepared under the OECD project “Improving the use of economic instruments for water management in the Republic of Buryatia (Lake Baikal basin)” and aimed at supporting the policy dialogue on water in Russia, in cooperation with the EU Water Initiative. Based on the analysis, some recommendations were developed for improving the use of instruments for water resources management in the Republic of Buryatia as a part of the Baikal Natural Area.

Between Tao and instruments:Railways,China,and the World From the Perspective of Modern Thought(1875-1936)

In the evolution of modern railway thought,it includes not only the discussion of railway planning,sovereignty,debt,and construction,but also the discussion of spiritual guiding ideology such as“Tao,body and utility”and“material and spirit”.From the perspective of the relationship between road and equipment,the development of modern railway thought in China has experienced three *** the Westernization Movement,Li Hongzhang and other people expounded the benefits brought by railway construction from the angle of“utility”,and believed that there was still a unity of“Tao and style”.After the Sino-Japanese Naval Battle,with the emergence of the theory of railway sovereignty and the theory of dividing China,Kang Youwei and others questioned the thought of Westernization *** unified Tao body was divided into two parts:China and the *** the May Fourth Movement,railway,as a product of western material civilization,was compared with Eastern spiritual civilization by Liang Shuming,Li Dazhao,and *** conflict between material and spirit made the Western“Tao style”evolve into the Europe-American way of pursuing“scientific spirit”and the Soviet-Russian way of exploring the ideas of revolution and *** railway has thus become an important carrier of the“scientific spirit”and socialism.

Economic Violence: Which Economy Law instruments Are More Effective

The Council of Europe Convention on 11 May 2011 addresses the economic violence as one kind of violence a woman may face when dealing with income from work, access to the labor market, establishment of enterprises, access to entrepreneurial activities and governance bodies. The paper focuses on four typical situations of economic violence and subsequent risks for the woman and society and economy. Economy law may propose the use of instruments to prevent or fight economic violence: from tax incentives, to women’s enterprise incentives;from direct finance, to loans at discounted rates;from gender quotas to incentives to build educational and professional skills dedicated to women in order to fill the gap and even the playing field. Some of them have been already used successfully, others not so, but their common element is that there is a better and specific educational and training need for women to prevent economic violence. The paper will discuss data with respect to certain instruments within the Italian legal framework. The paper will address needs for better and specific education and training before introducing new economy law measures in the Italian legal framework, pursuant in some cases to EU legislation.

The Impact of New Standard of Financial instruments on Commercial Banks- A Case Study of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China

In July 2014,《International Financial Reporting Standard 9:Financial instruments》(Referred to IFRS 9)was formally published. Compared to the former standard,《International Accounting Standard 39: Financial instruments》(Referred to IAS 39), rules of two main aspects, the classification and measurement of financial assets and the impairment model of financial assets have been changed in IFRS 9. Taking ICBC as an example, this paper studies the impact of changes in financial instruments on commercial banks. The study shows three impacts on commercial banks’ financial report. Firstly, the changes of the classification and measurement of financial assets will have limited impacts on commercial banks. Secondly, the expected-loss model will significantly increase the loan loss reserves under the new standard, thus reducing the net asset and net profit. Thirdly, the change in the measurement way of the equity instruments of available-for-sale securities will increase the fluctuation of the net profit. This study shows investors and regulators the impact of the new standard of financial instruments on commercial banks.
