The industrial sector has accounted for approximately 70%of China's total energy consumption over the past 30 *** green development is thus an important strategic goal of the Chinese industrial *** Chinese government has adopted various energy policies to facilitate industrial green *** to their different goals,these policies may have different impacts on the promotion of green development in the industrial *** panel data on 31 provinces from 2007 to 2014,we examine the effects of three types of energy policies—renewable energy,energy conservation,and industrial upgrading—on industrial green development in China,measured using reduced energy *** empirical findings suggest that all three types facilitate industrial green ***,effectiveness varies by policy type and *** energy and energy conservation policies have stronger impacts than policies aiming at upgrading traditional fossil fuel ***,it takes longer for the effectiveness of industrial upgrading policies to be manifested,compared with the other two *** discuss the implications of these empirical findings for future policymaking in promoting industrial green development.

To identify the macroeconomic environment that has enabled China's industrial upgrading during a period of persistent renminbi appreciation,we construct a two-country New Keynesian model of industrial upgrading with a global production network,endogenous firm entry,and a directed quality *** show that renminbi appreciation promotes industrial upgrading without hurting real economic growth in the longer *** holds true especially through four ***,the quality threshold for firm entry is lower to allow for more firms participation and thus greater product varieties(quality threshold channel).Second,upstream skill-based production uses more imported inputs of higher quality(imported input channel).Third,there is substantial global demand towards the exports of high-quality inputs(global demand channel).Fourth,domestic inputs are competing against imported inputs to broaden the scope for competition in the upstream product market to incentivize quality upgrading(scope for competition channel).

With methods of reference research and field research, the current situations of rural industrialization in the process of rural-urban integration in Binhai new area are analyzed and some problems in the process of integration in the new area are pointed out, such as difficulties in breaking dual economic structure in urban and rural areas, imbalanced economic development in the area and inadequate development of the third industry. And relevant countermeasures are proposed: optimizing agriculture industrial structure and promoting agricultural industrialization to form urban agricultural model of Binhai new area focusing on facility agriculture, park agriculture and high-end agriculture and to realize the intensive growth of agriculture; rationally distributing rural industrial structure to form regional leading industry and playing the guiding role of industry to achieve industrial adjustment improvement; quickening the construction of the third industry centering on service to form the service system of modern countryside and the leading role of modern service industry so as to achieve rapid development of the third industry.

Environmental regulation and industrial upgrading are the key to achieve win-win results for both economy and the environment. After environmental regulation tools are divided into market incentive and command control types,based on the provincial-level data of 30 provinces( cities and regions) in China from 2004 to 2016,the impact of environmental regulation on industrial upgrading and its transmission paths are empirically tested through an intermediary effect model. Technological innovation,FDI and capital market development all meet intermediary conditions,and the market incentive type is more dependent on technological innovation,while the command control type is more dependent on FDI and capital market *** impact of the two environmental regulation tools on industrial upgrading is further studied. The results show that there is an " inverted U-shaped" relationship between the command control type and industrial upgrading,while there is a " U-shaped" relationship between the market incentive type and industrial upgrading,and there are also certain regional differences in the impact of environmental regulation on industrial upgrading.

Starting with cultural context of historic block, this paper investigated current situation of Shengjinta Historic Block in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, proposed dynamic protection planning and sustainable industrial upgrading strategies, specifically, by repairing, clearing, preserving and restoring historic streets and lanes, courtyards and folk dwel ings from six perspectives of planar layout, traffic pattern, spatial texture, facade decoration, landscape planning, and characteristic culture. In view of the specifi c geographical location, food shops and leisure green spaces are constructed to build a modern urban living system for residents in the ancient block.
