Variable elliptical vibrating screen: Particles kinematics and industrial application

Traditional vibrating screen usually adopts the linear centralized excitation mode,which causes the difficulty in particles loosening and low screening *** variable elliptical vibrating screen(VEVS)trajectory is regulated to adapt the material mass along the direction of the screen length,improving the particles distribution as well as the screening *** this work,a theoretical model was developed for analyzing the screen surface motion law during VEVS-based screening *** equation was obtained to show the relationship between the horizontal amplitude and the vertical *** materials kinetic characteristics were studied by using high-speed camera during screening *** with equal-amplitude screen(EAS),the material moving velocity was increased by 13.03%on the first half but decreased by 3.52% on the second half,and the total screening time was reduced by 9.42% by using *** addition,-6 mm screening test was carried *** the length of VEVS equaled to 1.2 m,the screening efficiency and the total misplaced material content were 92.50% and 2.90%,***,the screening efficiency was 89.91% and the total misplaced material content was 3.76% during EAS-based screening ***,when external moisture is 5.96%,the screening efficiency of VEVS could reach 86.95%.The 2 TKB50113 type VEVS with double-layered screen surface used in Huoshizui Coal Mine was 5.0 m in width and 11.3 m in *** areas of single layer and double layer were 56.5 and 113 m~2,*** industrial production,the processing capacity was 2500-3000 t/h and the screening efficiency was larger than 90%.

Model of Forming-Accretion on Blast Furnace Copper Stave and industrial application

Copper staves have been equipped on nearly all of BF （blast furnaces） with volume over than 1000 m3 in China since their introduction from abroad about more than 10 years ago. Because of short application and lack of experience, phenomena of thickened or naked of copper stave happen occasionally which influence production severely. So it is important to study the model of forming-accretion on BF copper stave and realize real-time monitoring of forming-accretion on different copper staves. Therefore, mathematic model of calculating accretion thickness by heat flow of BF is proposed, and the calculated results indicate that accretion thickness could be kept at a reasonable range of around 50 mm by controlling heat flux around 22.0 kW/mz. The monitoring program based on the model was applied to a certain BF in China successfully, and it is found that slip of BF near the inner wall is one of most important reasons that cause fluctuation of accretion thickness. During the period of scheduled maintenance of the certain BF, the thickness of accretion measured through the static pressure holes is in good accordance with the value calculated by the monitoring program, so the results calculated by the monitoring program can be used to guide industrial production

The study has developed a kind of roll industrial unit of high magnetic induction intensity by the technology of permanent magnetic selective separation. It recovers the FCC equilibrium catalyst to use the industrial unit when the handling capacity is 350kg/h and the recovered catalyst rate is 45～65%.The results of industrial magnetic selective separation experiment are that MAT increases 2.7～9.2,the rate of taking off high metal is 19.0～40.1 to FCC equilibrium catalyst. In the same time, the recovered catalysts by magnetic selective separation technology were applied on FCC industrial unit. The results have shown that the consumption of FCC fresh catalyst decreases 25.3%, the conversion yield raises 0.29%,the light oil yield raises 1.36%, the total liquid yield raises 1.82%.

Graphene is considered a promising material for industrial application based on the intensive laboratoryscale research in the fields of physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering, and biology over the last decade. Many companies have thus started to pursue graphene materials on a scale of tons(for the flake material) or hundreds of thousands of square meters(for the film material) for industrial applications. Though the graphene industry is still in its early stages, very significant progress in mass production and certain industrial applications has become obvious. In this report, we aim to give a brief review of the mass production of graphene materials for some industrial applications and summarize some features or challenges for graphene in the marketplace.

A blockchain architecture for industrial applications

Blockchain and the programs running on it,called smart contracts,are increasingly applied in all fields where trust and strong certifications are *** work focuses on industrial applications of blockchains and not on cryptocurrencies or *** use frameworks to compare public and permissioned blockchains specifically suited for industrial *** also propose a complete solution based on Ethereum to implement a decentralized application,putting together in an original way,components and patterns already used and *** solution is characterized by a set of validator nodes running the blockchain using Proof-of-Authority or similar efficient consensus algorithms,by the use of an explorer enabling users to check the blockchain state,and the source code of the smart contracts running on *** time to time,the hash digest of the last mined block is written into a public blockchain to guarantee *** right to send transactions is granted by validator nodes to users by endowing them with the Ethers mined ***,the proposed approach has the same transparency and immutability as a public blockchain,largely reducing its drawbacks.

Advances in industrial applications of Ni_3Al Intermetallics Based Alloys

Research on high temperature wear mechanism shows that the oxidation and corrosion resistance, high temperature hardness, thermal fatigue resistance and structure stability are main control factors for Ni_3Al based alloys. Some important workpieces have been produced in mass quantity such as the guide shoe used in wire hot rolling. Ni_3Al based alloys could be used as cavitation erosion resistant materials mainly because of their high temperature mechanical properties, high work hardening ability and fatigue resistance. The weld electrode of Ni_3Al based alloy has been fabricated and used in the protection against cavitation erosion of big blade of hydraulic turbine in Sanmenxia Hydropower Station. Ni_3Al based alloys exhibit superproperties in the situation of high temperature over 1200℃, for example, in the work condition of flame tube of jet. Some of rivets used in combustor of jet are fabricated and tested.
