Past research has demonstrated that a sampled phase-only hologram (SPOH) is capable of representing an image without the magnitude component of the hologram. At present, an SPOH can only record and reconstruct a single source image. In this Letter, we propose, for the first time, to the best of our knowledge, a method for representing multiple images with a single integrated SPOH (ISPOH). Subsequently, each image can be retrieved from the ISPOH with a unique key parameter and displayed as a visible image on a phase-only spatial light modulator.

The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock is T.S. Eliot's masterpiece, which marked the beginning of Eliot's career as an influential poet. Prufrock is the image of an ineffectual, sorrowful and depressed western man in twentieth century. Eliot used a lot of images to reveal the city as a wasteland, the tedious life of the western modern people, and the bewildered and split personality of western people. Eliot succeeds in reflecting inner world and spiritual state of modern people with the long, fragmented images,which influence future writers.

Jane Austen (1775-1817) is a British novelist, she began writing from 20 years old. Her most famous novel is Emma. In the novel, Jane Austen analyzes images of ladies in Emma. It mainly analyzes the hero Emma Smith and Jane who observe Emma's self-righteous, self-contradictory by using the heart. The author explains images of ladies in Jane Austen's writing through shaping these three kinds of characters. Tough oblige has defects, which narrates the writer's understanding and perception to reality. It shows the images of ladies in Emma through portraying the three characters providing readers to amend themselves and consummate themselves, thought-provoking.

In this paper, a method to fingerprint digital images is proposed, and different watermarked copies with different identification string are made. After determining the number of the customers and the length of the watermark string, this method chooses some values inside the digital image using a characteristic function, and adds watermarks to these values in a way that can protect the product against the attacks happened by comparing two fingerprinted *** watermarks are a string of binary numbers -1s and 1s. Every customer will be distinguished by a series of 1s and -1s generated by a pseudo-random generator. The owner of the image can determine the number of customers and the length of the string as well as this method will add another watermarking values to watermark string to protect the product.

To produce emotion, the discourse of social networks tries to confront the reader with social reality. The mediation activity at the heart of any communication activity is hidden. This process is also based on the use of figures to express the unspeakable by the shock of images, which allows the reader to experience emotion but also to push him to act. It is the link between the emotion of an individual targeted by social networks and collective mobilization, which we wish to consider as a means of relaunching the debate and drawing attention to social issues, thus allowing us to rethink sociability with politics.

Comparison between Plane and Stereo Block Adjustment for ZY-3 Satellite images

Block adjustment for satellite images cannot be solved with weak convergence geometric conditions,therefore a plane block adjustment method to improve the targeting precision of images is proposed utilizing DEM as height constraint plane block adjustment ***,a rational function model with affine transformation is selected as the mathematical model of the satellite image plane block ***,to update the ground coordinates of tie points(TPs),the plane coordinates of TPs are only solved in the adjustment *** values are obtained by using DEM ***,the plane coordinates of all TPs and orientation parameters of all satellite images are solved through plane block adjustment with a few ground control points ZY-3 nadir images for two regions are tested for plane block adjustment while ZY-3 forward-nadir-back images of the same two regions are tested for stereo block adjustment.A comparison indicates that almost the same accuracy can be obtained with plane block adjustment support using a 1∶50 000 DEM and stereo block adjustment for ZY-3 *** ZY-3 nadir images,almost no loss of plane block adjustment accuracy occurred when global DEM with 1 km grid and SRTM with 90 m grid replaced the 1∶50 000 DEM as elevation control,.Test results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the plane block adjustment method.

New Results in Perceptually Lossless Compression of Hyperspectral images

Hyperspectral images (HSI) have hundreds of bands, which impose heavy burden on data storage and transmission bandwidth. Quite a few compression techniques have been explored for HSI in the past decades. One high performing technique is the combination of principal component analysis (PCA) and JPEG-2000 (J2K). However, since there are several new compression codecs developed after J2K in the past 15 years, it is worthwhile to revisit this research area and investigate if there are better techniques for HSI compression. In this paper, we present some new results in HSI compression. We aim at perceptually lossless compression of HSI. Perceptually lossless means that the decompressed HSI data cube has a performance metric near 40 dBs in terms of peak-signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) or human visual system (HVS) based metrics. The key idea is to compare several combinations of PCA and video/ image codecs. Three representative HSI data cubes were used in our studies. Four video/image codecs, including J2K, X264, X265, and Daala, have been investigated and four performance metrics were used in our comparative studies. Moreover, some alternative techniques such as video, split band, and PCA only approaches were also compared. It was observed that the combination of PCA and X264 yielded the best performance in terms of compression performance and computational complexity. In some cases, the PCA + X264 combination achieved more than 3 dBs than the PCA + J2K combination.

Automatic Computer Analysis of Digital images of Triple-Antibody-Stained Prostate Biopsies

Background: Worldwide, prostatic adenocarcinoma is the most common tumour type among men. Aim: The aim of the present investigation was to develop a computer program to identify normal prostate biopsies and distinguish them from biopsies showing premalignant alterations (LGPIN, HGPIN) and adenocarcinoma. Method: Prostate biopsies (n = 2094) taken from 191 consecutive men during 2016 were stained with triple immunehistochemisty (antibodies to AMACRA, p63 and CK 5). Digital images of the biopsies were obtained with a scanning microscope and used to develop an automatic computer program (CelldaTM), intended to identify the morphological alterations. Visual microscopic finding was used as a reference. Result: Of the 191 men, 121 (63.4%) were diagnosed as having prostate adenocarcinoma and 70 (36.6%) as having no malignancy on the basis of the visual microscopy. In comparison, computer analysis identified 134 (70.2%) men with malignant disease and 57 (29.8%) with non-malignant disease after exclusion of artifacts, which constituted 10.4% of areas (indicated as malignant disease). Discrepant results were recorded in 15 (7.9%) men, and in 14 of these cases, HGPIN and areas suggestive of early invasion were common. Thus, it was uncertain whether these cases should be regarded as malignant or not. The agreement between the visual examination and the computer analysis was 92.1% (kappa value 0.823, sensitivity 99.2 and specificity was 0.80). Conclusion: It seems that computer analysis could serve as an adjunct to simplify and shorten the diagnostic procedure, first of all by ensuring that normal prostate biopsies are sorted out from those sent for visual microscopic evaluation.
