At his studio in Beijing E-town on the southeastern outskirts of China's capital city,Zhang Xiaodong often immerses himself in the world of paper.As he unfolds the chapters of a book in dragonscale bookbinding format,hundreds of sheets of thin paper flow like ripples in the wind,and illustrations composed of pattermed stripes on the pages gradually come to life,creating an almost three-dimensional readingexperience.

Scope Journal of Cerebrovascular Disease welcomes original research articles,review articles,editorials,and others in the field of medicine,especially the cerebrovascular disease,from any part of the world.Editorial process Manuscripts are reviewed by members of the international editorial board and our expert peer reviewers,and then either accepted for publication or rejected by the chief editor.Most of submissions accepted for publication may undergo revisions recommended by the reviewers,editors,or statistical advisers.A decision takes from two weeks to three months.Publication varies from two to six months after final acceptance.Proofs of edited articles and illustrations are sent to the corresponding author for correction and reply to any queries from editors.A sample copy of the journal containing the articles will be forwarded to the corresponding author within a few days of publication.

To the Editor:Esophageal atresia(EA)is the most common congenital abnormality of the esophagus.In 70%to 90%of those born with EA,a tracheoesophageal fistula(TEF)co-occurs.Since Vogt[1]recognized and classified the types of anomalies in 1929,many other classification systems have been proposed,including the Ladd,Gross,Swenson,and Kluth classification systems.[2]However,the Gross classification of anatomical patterns of EA/TEF proposed in 1953 is one of the most widely accepted and used classification systems[3]and has been cited in Pediatric Surgery.[4]While surgical and imaging techniques have evolved considerably over recent decades,434 consecutive cases of EA/TEF in China were reviewed.Through closely examining the imaging studies and the pathoanatomical configurations of these patients,we identified certain"defects"and details in the illustrations that need modification.

Dear Editor,With the development of high-throughput sequencing technology,a large number of functional genes have been identified.However,the illustration of these gene functions is limited,especially in monocot plants(Chen et al.,2022).One of the main reasons is that genetic transformation is still a major bottleneck for these plants.Recently,nanoparticles(NPs)-mediated biomolecular delivery methods.
