Woven fabric triboelectric nanogenerators for human-computer interaction and physical health monitoring

Triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)converts mechanical energy into valuable electrical energy,offering a solution for future energy *** an indispensable part of TENG,textile TENG(T-TENG)has incredible advantages in harvesting biomechanical energy and physiological signal ***,the application of T-TENG is restricted,partly because the fabric structure parameter and structure on T-TENG performance have not been fully *** study comprehensively investigates the effect of weaving structure on fabric TENGs(F-TENGs)for direct-weaving yarn TENGs and post-coating fabric *** direct-weaving F-TENGs,a single-yarn TENG(Y-TENG)with a core-sheath structure is fabricated using conductive yarn as the core layer yarn and polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)filaments as the sheath *** fabrics with five different sets of parameters were designed and *** post-coating F-TENGs,fabrics with weaving structures of plain,twill,satin,and reinforced twill were fabricated and coated with conductive silver ***,the twill F-TENGs have the best electrical outputs,followed by the satin F-TENGs and plain weave ***,the increase of the Y-TENG gap spacing was demonstrated to improve the electrical output ***,T-TENGs are demonstrated for human-computer interaction and self-powered real-time *** systematic work provides guidance for the future T-TENG’s design.

Aiming at the human–computer interaction control(HCIC)requirements of multi operators in collaborative virtual maintenance(CVM),real-time motion capture and simulation drive of multi operators with optical human motion capture system(HMCS)is *** detailed realization process of real-time motion capture and data drive for virtual operators in CVM environment is presented to actualize the natural and online interactive *** order to ensure the cooperative and orderly interactions of virtual operators with the input operations of actual operators,collaborative HCIC model is established according to specific planning,allocating and decision-making of different maintenance tasks as well as the human–computer interaction features and collaborative maintenance operation features among multi maintenance trainees in CVM ***,results of the experimental implementation validate the effectiveness and practicability of proposed methods,models,strategies and mechanisms.

Recently,vision-based gesture recognition(VGR)has become a hot research spot in human-computer interaction(HCI).Unlike other gesture recognition methods with data gloves or other wearable sensors,vision-based gesture recognition could lead to more natural and intuitive HCI *** paper reviews the state-of-the-art vision-based gestures recognition methods,from different stages of gesture recognition process,i.e.,(1)image acquisition and pre-processing,(2)gesture segmentation,(3)gesture tracking,(4)feature extraction,and(5)gesture *** paper also analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these various methods in ***,the challenges of vision-based gesture recognition in haptic rendering and future research directions are discussed.

Dynamic constraint and objective generation approach for real-time train rescheduling model under human-computer interaction

Real-time train rescheduling plays a vital role in railway transportation as it is crucial for maintaining punctuality and reliability in rail *** this paper,we propose a rescheduling model that incorporates constraints and objectives generated through human-computer *** approach ensures that the model is aligned with practical requirements and daily operational tasks while facilitating iterative train *** dispatcher’s empirical knowledge is integrated into the train rescheduling process using a human-computer interaction *** introduce six interfaces to dynamically construct constraints and objectives that capture human *** summarizing rescheduling rules,we devise a rule-based conﬂict detection-resolution heuristic algorithm to effectively solve the formulated model.A series of numerical experiments are presented,demonstrating strong performance across the entire ***,theﬂexibility of rescheduling is enhanced through secondary analysis-driven solutions derived from the outcomes of humancomputer interactions in the previous *** proposed interaction method complements existing literature on rescheduling methods involving human-computer *** serves as a tool to aid dispatchers in identifying more feasible solutions in accordance with their empirical rescheduling strategies.

The Three-dimensional（3D）human-computer interaction of the wireless mobile communication is becoming the research highlight in the field of the human-computer *** the terminal products of the Mobile Internet the mobile phones,the tablet PC,and etc directly contact the end users,the modal of the content provided and the comfort level of the users are determined by the human-computer interaction,which also further influence weather the users’satisfaction,therefore the product survival in the *** new virtual human-computer interaction technology of Mobile Internet Terminal（MIT）is explored and studied based on mentioned above in this paper.

Building Reusable Remote Labs with Adaptable Client User-Interfaces

Nowadays remote laboratories suffer the absence of *** addition,their construction and maintenance require time,money and *** system implementation of a specific remote lab is neither generic nor *** this paper,a solution for a reusable remote lab dedicated for disparate types of scientific and engineering experiments is presented. The experiment designer needs only to connect the experiment components and equipment such as capacitors,resistors, transistors,function generators with a switch system of a lab server,then,she/he has to map this connection structure in a configuration data *** a student starts the Web-based client user-interface and logs-in into the lab server, the menu structure of the graphical user-interface builds and initializes itself automatically,using information stored in a configuration data *** contribution discusses some hitherto used lab servers,some of their drawbacks,the desirable requirements on a universal remote lab,which simplify the building process of newer lab experiments consisting of experiment components and equipment as well as a client user-interface that could enable students to remotely access the experiment.

Construction of Feature—Matching Perception in Virtual Assembly

An important characteristic of virtual assembly is interaction. Traditional di-rect manipulation in virtual assembly relies on dynamic collision detection, which is very time-consuming and even impossible in desktop virtual assembly environment. Feature-matching isa critical process in harmonious virtual assembly, and is the premise of assembly constraint sens-ing. This paper puts forward an active object-based feature-matching perception mechanism and afeature-matching interactive computing process, both of which make the direct manipulation in vir-tual assembly break away from collision detection. They also help to enhance virtual environmentunderstandability of user intention and promote interaction performance. Experimental resultsshow that this perception mechanism can ensure that users achieve real-time direct manipulationin desktop virtual environment.

The wave of“digital age”featuring digital information is *** technology is profoundly changing the societal development direction and evolution *** also has significant bearing on production modes,social interactions and *** regard to urban design,a system of knowledge about the creation and adaptation of material space forms that integrate humanities,art,technology and materials,digital technology has provided it with a brand-new and revolutionary scientific impetus for its *** result of this evolution is“digital urban design paradigm based on human-computer interaction”,i.e.,the urban development is moving toward“pan-dimensionality”and“individual ubiquity”.The future of urban design will construct a new approach to urban research and engineering,which is more complex,capable of accommodating and compatible with multiple goals of“instrumental rationality”and“value rationality”.Such a new approach shall be led by the probabilistic theory of“gray scale thinking”,reflecting quaternary synergetic view of“scientific rationality,ecological rationality,cultural rationality and technical rationality”to realize the cognitive progress of“engineering for the benefit of mankind”.

Vision Based Hand Gesture Recognition Using 3D Shape Context

Hand gesture recognition is a popular topic in computer vision and makes human-computer interaction more flexible and *** representation of hand gestures is critical for *** this paper,we propose a new method to measure the similarity between hand gestures and exploit it for hand gesture *** depth maps of hand gestures captured via the Kinect sensors are used in our method,where the 3D hand shapes can be segmented from the cluttered *** extract the pattern of salient 3D shape features,we propose a new descriptor-3D Shape Context,for 3D hand gesture *** 3D Shape Context information of each 3D point is obtained in multiple scales because both local shape context and global shape distribution are necessary for *** description of all the 3D points constructs the hand gesture representation,and hand gesture recognition is explored via dynamic time warping *** experiments are conducted on multiple benchmark *** experimental results verify that the proposed method is robust to noise,articulated variations,and rigid *** method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in the comparisons of accuracy and efficiency.
