Image Preprocessing Methods Used in Meteorological Measurement of the Temperature Testing System

The meteorological measurement automatic temperature testing system has a defective image. To solve the problem such as noise and insufficient contrast, and put forward the research program for image pretreatment, the median filter, histogram equalization and image binarization, methods were used to remove noise and enhance images. Results showed that feature points were clear and accurate after the experiment. This simulation experiment prepared for the follow-up subsequent recognition process.

Because the speed of clear fingerprint vein acquisition is slow,and the influence of some acquisition equipment makes the acquired vein graphics are relatively poor,this paper is based on random forest and DCT algorithm for super-resolution reconstruction of blurred *** random forest algorithm avoids overfitting the data and solves the classification *** transform compresses the image space to further speed up the training speed of the *** experimental result shows that the method is easy to converge during the process of training and has better image reconstruction quality.

Application of Image Enhancement Techniques to Potential Field Data

In this paper the application of image enhancement techniques to potential field data is briefly described and two improved enhancement methods are introduced. One method is derived from the histogram equalization technique and automatically determines the color spectra of geophysical maps. Colors can be properly distributed and visual effects and resolution can be enhanced by the method. The other method is based on the modified Radon transform and gradient calculation and is used to detect and enhance linear features in gravity and magnetic images. The method facilites the detection of line segments in the transform domain. Tests with synthetic images and real data show the methods to be effective in feature enhancement.

To the gray level on medical image which texture feature is not obvious and the influence of noise,the text comes up with a method of image feature extraction based on wavelet modulus maximum *** text uses histogram equalization first to enhance the image texture feature,and then gets image edge information by the local maximum value method on wavelet transform,and lastly,according to certain rules in the edge points to get feature points and generate the feature *** results show that the method can suppress noise and make the edge extraction more stable and effective.

The detection of pseudo-foreign fibers in cotton based on AVI(Automatic Visual Inspection) is crucial to improve the accuracy of statistics and classification of foreign *** meet the requirement of textile factories,a new platform is introduced in which cotton bulks are floating with relative high speed of six meters per second,and the throughput of detected lint could be above 20 kg per ***,images captured by the new platform are blurred and not clear enough for post processes such as segmentation,feature extraction,target identification and *** thickness of the moving cotton bulks are not uniform,a part of or the whole object of pseudoforeign fibers are *** image enhancement algorithms should be investigated and *** this paper the characteristics of the images acquired by the new platform are analyzed,and several image enhance algorithms are studied and compared on effectiveness and efficiency,which include histogram equalization,Wavelet Based Normalization,Homomorphic Filtering,Single Scale Retinex(SSR),Multiscale Retinex(MSR) and Variational *** indicated that the Variational Retinex has a better performance and should be implemented in on-line pseudo-foreign fibers detection.
