Effect of non-uniform efficiency on higher-order cumulants in heavy-ion collisions

We perform a systematic study on the effect of non-uniform track efficiency correction in higher-order cumulant analysis in heavy-ion *** analytical derivation,we find that the true values of cumulants can be successfully reproduced by the efficiency correction with an average of the realistic detector efficiency for particles with the same charges within each single phase *** theoretical conclusions are supported by a toy model simulation by tuning the non-uniformity of the efficiency employed in the track-by-track efficiency correction *** valid averaged efficiency is found to suppress the statistical uncertainties of the reproduced cumulants ***,usage of the averaged efficiency requires a careful study of phase space *** study is important for carrying out precision measurements of higher-order cumulants in heavy-ion collision experiments at present and in future.

Fourier light-field microscopy(FLFM)uses a microlens aray(MLA)to segment the Fourierplane of the microscopic objective lens to generate multiple two-dimensional perspective views,thereby reconstructing the threedimensional(3D)structure of the sample using 3D deconvo-lution calculation without ***,the resolution of FLFM is stil limited by dif-fraction,and furthermore,it is dependent on the aperture *** order to improve itsresolution,a super-resolution opticai fuctuation Fourier light-field microscopy(SOFFLFM)wasproposed here,in which the super-resolution optical fluctuation imaging(SOFI)with the abilityof super-resolution was introduced into *** uses higher-order cumulants statis-tical analysis on an image sequence collected by FLFM,and then carries out 3D deconvolutioncalculation to reconstruct the 3D structure of the *** theoretical basis of SOFFLFM onimproving resolution was explained and then verified with the *** resultsdemonstrated that SOFFLFM improved the lateral and axial resolution by more than V2 and 2times in the second-and fourth-order accumulations,compared with that of FLFM.

A Hybrid Algorithm of BP Network and Its Application to Blind Equalization

We propose a novel hybrid algorithm of BP neural ytetwork and apply it to blind *** algorithm combines the merits of Rosario algorithm and random optimization method. Its cost function has strict convex character (after a threshold) and the algorithm converges much faster than the BPmethod[2], as an exalople, we evaluate its performance by using it into blind equalization. With the help ofhigher order Culnulants (HOC), the blind equalization scheme converges much faster than the CMAalgorithm and superior to the Back-propagation,nethod[2] due to its ability of finding the optimal solutionwith relatively fewer iteration stops.

In order to solve the problem of low modulation recognition rate of digital communication signals and the difficulty of selecting the appropriate decision threshold, the paper constructs characteristic parameters （CP） for recognizing signals in the cumulant domain, and uses support vector machines based on binary tree as a classifier to identify the characteristics vector mapping to high-dimensional space , which achieves automatic recognition of digital modulation. The algorithm has a high recognition rate not only, but also it is simply and efficiently . And it solves the problem of sample inseparable in low-dimensional space. It’s good at generalization *** signal to noise ratio （SNR） is higher than -1dB, the recognition rate achieves 94%. Compared with existing algorithms, simulation results show the superioity of the algotithm.
