An optimization of harmonic structure nickel-saving cryogenic steel via combinatorial high-throughput experiment

A combinatorial high-throughput experiment(HTE)was used to optimize composition and process of nickel-saving cryogenic steel.A gradient temperature heat treatment method with a high linear distribution of heat treatment temperature using customized graphite sleeve direct current heating was used in the combinatorial HTE,which enhanced the richness of the sample library for the single preparation of the 10^(2) level component process *** steel with excellent mechanical properties was optimized using this combinatorial HTE,and the Ni content was reduced from the traditional 9 to 5.6 wt.%by using Mn instead of *** heterogeneous structure architecture strategy and strengthening and toughening mechanism of the harmonic structure induced by intrinsic heat treatment of additive manufacturing were *** the composition process optimization of Ni-saving cryogenic steel as an example,the boosting ability of combinatorial HTE in the research and development of new metal materials was proposed.

high-throughput powder X-ray diffraction(XRD)with white X-ray beam and an energy-dispersive detector array is demonstrated in this work on a CeO;powder sample on a bending magnet synchrotron beamline at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF),using a simulated energy-dispersive array detector consisting of a spatially scanning silicon-drift detector(SDD).Careful analysis and corrections are applied to account for various experimental hardware-related and diffraction angle-related *** resulting diffraction patterns show that the relative strength between different diffraction peaks from energy-dispersive XRD(EDXRD)spectra is consistent with that from angle-resolved XRD(ARXRD),which is necessary for analyzing crystal structures for unknown *** X-ray fluorescence(XRF)signal is collected *** counts from all pixels are integrated directly by energy,while the diffraction spectra are integrated by d-spacing,resulting in a much improved peak strength and signal-to-noise(S/N)ratio for the array *** comparison with ARXRD,the diffraction signal generated by a white X-ray beam over monochromic light under the experimental conditions is about 104 times *** full width at half maximum(FWHM)of the peaks in q-space is found to be dependent on the energy resolution of the detector,the angle span of the detector,and the diffraction *** is possible for EDXRD to achieve the same or even smaller FWHM as ARXRD under the energy resolution of the current detector if the experimental parameters are properly chosen.

iHypoxia:An Integrative Database of Protein Expression Dynamics in Response to Hypoxia in Animals

Mammals have evolved mechanisms to sense hypoxia and induce hypoxic ***,high-throughput techniques have greatly promoted global studies of protein expression changes during hypoxia and the identification of candidate genes associated with hypoxiaadaptive evolution,which have contributed to the understanding of the complex regulatory networks of *** this study,we developed an integrated resource for the expression dynamics of proteins in response to hypoxia(iHypoxia),and this database contains 2589 expression events of 1944 proteins identified by low-throughput experiments(LTEs)and 422,553 quantitative expression events of 33,559 proteins identified by high-throughput experiments from five mammals that exhibit a response to *** experimental details,such as the hypoxic experimental conditions,expression patterns,and sample types,were carefully collected and ***,8788 candidate genes from diverse species inhabiting low-oxygen environments were also *** addition,we conducted an orthologous search and computationally identified 394,141 proteins that may respond to hypoxia among 48 *** enrichment analysis of human proteins identified from LTEs shows that these proteins are enriched in certain drug targets and cancer *** of known posttranslational modification(PTM)sites in the proteins identified by LTEs reveals that these proteins undergo extensive PTMs,particularly phosphorylation,ubiquitination,and *** provides a convenient and user-friendly method for users to obtain hypoxia-related information of interest.
