high-temperature corrosion is a serious problem for the water-wall tubes of boilers used in thermal power plants. Oxidation, sulfidation and molten salt corrosion are main corrosion ***, the most severe corrosion occurs in molten salt corrosion environment. Materials rich in oxides formers, such as chromium and aluminum, are needed to resist corrosion in high-temperature and corrosive environment, but processability of such bulk alloys is very limited. high velocity electric arc spraying (HVAS) technology is adopted to produce coatings with high corrosion resistance. By comparison, NiCr (Ni-45Cr-4Ti) is recommended as a promising alloy coating for the water-wall tubes, which can even resist molten salt corrosion attack. In the study of corrosion mechanism, the modern material analysis methods, such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometry (XRD) and energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS), are used. It is found that the corrosion resistances of NiCr and FeCrAI coatings are much better than that of 20g steel, that the NiCr coatings have the best anti-corrosion properties, and that the NiCr coatings have slightly lower pores than FeCrAI *** is testified that corrosion resistance of coatings is mainly determined by chromium content, and the microstructure of a coating is as important as the chemical composition of the material. In addition, the fracture mechanisms of coatings in the cycle of heating and cooling are put forward. The difference of the thermal physical properties between coatings and base metals results in the thermal stress inside the coatings. Consequently, the coatings spall from the base metal.

corrosion behavior and mechanism of irradiated 304 nuclear grade stainless steel were studied in simulated pressurized water reactor primary *** microstructure of the oxide formed on the steel irradiated to different doses over an exposure period range of 25–1500 h was analyzed and *** was found that the general and intergranular corrosion rates of the steel were increased with irradiation dose,in correspondence with an evolution of the general oxide and the oxide formed at the grain *** of the oxide evolution with the corrosion kinetics and mechanism has been discussed in detail.

Effects of 405 stainless steel(405 SS) on crevice corrosion behavior of Alloy 690 in high-temperature pure water were *** revealed that the corrosion rate of Alloy 690 was low within the *** was likely attributed to the fact that a Cr-rich inner oxide film and a Ni-rich layer beneath this oxide film formed upon Alloy 690,inhibiting the diffu sion of oxygen towards the oxide/matrix ***,the Fe2+ions dissolved from 405 SS consumed most of oxygen,leading to less oxygen participating in the oxidation of Alloy *** addition,it was found that Fe concentration continuously decreased from the surface of the inner oxide film to the oxide/matrix interface of Alloy 690 within the crevice,which was probably due to the diffusion of Fe2+ions dissolved from 405 SS into the inner oxide film.

The crevice corrosion behavior of Alloy 690 was investigated in high-temperature chloride solution containing different concentrations of thiosulfate(S_(2)O_(3)^(2-)) and dissolved oxygen(DO). The S2O32- inhibited corrosion of Alloy 690 through consuming oxygen in aerated chloride solution. In deaerated chloride solution,the S_(2)O_(3)^(2-) was reduced to S° and S^(2-) and subsequently incorporated into the oxide films, which promoted the pitting corrosion at locations of both TiN inclusions and matrix inside the crevice during the crevice corrosion as well as influenced the composition and thickness of the oxide films. The effect mechanisms of S_(2)O_(3)^(2-) and DO on crevice corrosion in high-temperature chloride solution are discussed.

The corrosion behavior of 316H stainless steel(SS)in the impure and purified Na Cl–KCl–Mg Cl_(2) salt was investigated at700°*** indicate that the main deleterious impurity induced corrosion in the impure salt was the absorbed moisture,present in the form of Mg Cl_(2)·6H_(2)O.316H SS occurred severe intergranular corrosion with a corrosion depth of 130μm for1000 h in the impure Na Cl–KCl–Mg Cl_(2) *** contrast,the purification treatment of molten chloride salt by the dissolved Mg metal can remove the absorbed moisture,and the corresponding reactions were also *** a result,the corrosiveness of Na Cl–KCl–Mg Cl_(2) salt is reduced significantly.316H SS occurred slight uniform corrosion with a depth of less than 5μm for 3000 h in the purified Na Cl–KCl–Mg Cl_(2) salt.

Nanocrystalline coating with the same chemical composition as the nickel-based superalloys was proved to possess high resistance to oxidation and scale spallation,meanwhile avoid notable elements *** opens up a new direction for the development of protective ***,in a worse environment containing chlorine and water vapor,the ultrafine grains act like a double-edged sword,which can promote the formation of a protective scale of Al_(2)O_(3)or Cr_(2)O_(3),but also favor the inward dif-fusion of Cl and H_(2)O to accelerate *** order to solve this problem,moderate amount of oxygen was doped into nanocrystalline coating during magnetron ***,corrosion behavior of the two nanocrystalline coatings with or without oxygen doping was studied in the O_(2)+38%H_(2)O environment with solid NaCl *** indicated that the doped oxygen can attract active elements of Ti and Al to form TiO_(2)andθ-Al_(2)O_(3),which pinned at grain boundaries to keep the ultrafine grains stable at high temperature while prevent inward diffusion of the corrosive ***,a dense and pure chromia scale was formed quickly at surface,ensuring that the oxygen-doped nanocrystalline coating provided the highest corrosion resistance under the synergy of solid NaCl deposit and water *** contrast,the coating without oxygen doping suffered from severe internal corrosion.

An inorganic potassium silicate coating with pigments of alumina,aluminum phosphate,NiCrAlY and copper chromite black was prepared on CB2 stainless *** behavior in either ambient air or O_(2)+H_(2) O mixture at 630℃ for 2000 h was comparatively studied,and the coating exhibited excellent resistance under both test *** water vapor considerably accelerated the oxidation of the uncoated CB2 steel,as the hydroxide,the main constituent of the coating,had a negligible evaporation rate at test temperature,while it had a limited effect on the coated ***,the existence of coating may prolong or eliminate the incubation period in the O_(2)+H_(2) O mixture at 630℃.After oxidation,the coating matrix is in an amorphous state and fillers as alumina and copper chromite black are stable in the ***(KAlSi_(2) O_(6))formed by Al from NiCrAlY and potassium silicate in the coatings was detected after tests either in O_(2) or O_(2)+H_(2) O mixture.

The effects of sulfide stress cracking on the mechanical properties and intergranular cracking of P110 casing steel in sour environments

Variation and degradation of P-110 casing steel mechanical properties, due to sulfide stress cracking （SSC） in sour environments, was investigated using tensile and impact tests. These tests were carried out on specimens, which were pretreated under the following conditions for 168 hours： temperature, 60 ℃; pressure, 10 MPa; H2S partial pressure, 1 MPa and CO2 partial pressure, 1 MPa; preload stress, 80% of the yield strength （os）; medium, simulated formation water. The reduction in tensile and impact strengths for P-110 casing specimens in corrosive environments were 28% and 54%, respectively. The surface morphology analysis indicated that surface damage and uniform plastic deformation occurred as a result of strain aging. Impact toughness of the casing decreased significantly and intergranular cracking occurred when specimens were maintained at a high stress level of 85% %.

In this paper, the problems of combustion instability and high-temperature corrosion of pulverized coal fired boiler are investigated by numerical simulation and analysis of the momentum moment. Elbow and twisting plate type of burners are used in the boiler, and the reverse moment of momentum is formed at the outlet of the fuel-rich side of the burner. The momentum moment in the boiler is opposite to the designed tangential circle, and the tangential circle in the boiler is reversed rotation. The reverse moment of momentum at the burner outlet can be eliminated by using louver horizontal bias pulverized coal burner, while the problems of combustion instability and high-temperature corrosion of the boiler are solved, and the combustion efficiency is improved. Accordingly,economic benefit is obviously got.
