An analytical method for determination of rubidium and cesium in high salt brine by inductively coupled plasma-optic emission spectrometry(ICP-OES) was *** interferences of high content co-existing ions,including sodium,potassium,calcium and magnesium in brine on the detection of Rb and Cs were investigated by standard curve method,the results shows that high concentration of sodium,potassium,calcium and magnesium ions have strong positive interferences,furthermore,the interferences caused by the coexistence of these four ions has a certain addition and effect;further experiments shows that added a certain amount of NaCl to rubidium and cesium series of mixed standard solution for improving the standard curve can inhibit the positive interferences of four kinds of high concentration matrix ions;Taking the improved standard curve to determine two groups of real brine samples,the results shows that this method can quickly and accurately detected Rb and Cs in high salt brine,the detection limit(DL) and the quantitation limit(QL) of this method were 0.0134 mg·L and 0.0446 mg·L for Rb,0.0177 mg·L and 0.0590 mg·L for Cs,Values of recovery rate(R%) and precision(RSD,n=14) found were 109.8% for Rb and 112.4% for Cs,1.455% for Rb and 2.467% for Cs respectively.
