The purpose of this study is to reduce the uncertainty in the calculation process on hesitant fuzzy sets(HFSs).The innovation of this study is to unify the cardinal numbers of hesitant fuzzy elements(HFEs)in a special ***,a probability density function is assigned for any given ***,equal-probability transformation is introduced to transform HFEs with different cardinal numbers on the condition into the same probability density *** characteristic of this transformation is that the higher the consistency of the membership degrees in HFEs,the higher the credibility of the mentioned membership degrees is,then,the bigger the probability density values for them *** to this transformation technique,a set of novel distance measures on HFSs is ***,an illustrative example of intersection traffic control is introduced to show the usefulness of the given distance *** example also shows that this study is a good complement to operation theories on HFSs.

Prospect Theory Based hesitant fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making for Low Sulphur Fuel of Maritime Transportation

With respect to the limitations of the distance measures of hesitant fuzzy sets, a new Hausdorff distance for hesitant fuzzy sets is proposed. The hesitant fuzzy similarity measure and the hesitant fuzzy similarity matrix are developed based on the new distance. Then, a direct clustering method to cluster hesitant fuzzy sets is proposed. Finally, a numerical example together with a comparison analysis is given to illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of this method.

The environmental impact of maritime transport has now become a relevant issue in sustainable policy formulation and has attracted increasing interest from *** the sustainable development of maritime transport,International Maritime Organization stipulates that the sulfur content of ship emissions will reach 0.5 from *** the approaching of the stipulated implementation date,shipowners need to adopt scientific methods to make decision on low sulfur *** this study,we applied a prospect theory based hesitant fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making model to obtain the optimal decision of low Sulphur marine *** this purpose,the hesitant fuzzy decision matrix is established to collect expert opinions,the maximizing deviation method is adopted to determine criteria *** to calculate the Euclidean distance from the reference points,we obtain the comprehensive prospect values of ***,a case study is carried out to illustrate the significance and effectiveness of the proposed *** innovation of this study is that it is the first-time adopting prospect theory and hesitate fuzzy sets to multi-criteria decision making for low Sulphur marine fuel,which provides an effective decision model for shipping companies under Low Sulphur regulations,and can also be extended to other industries.

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a global humanitarian disaster that has never been seen *** experts,on the other hand,are undecided on the most valuable treatments of therapy because people ill with this infection exhibit a wide range of illness indications at different phases of ***,this project aims to undertake an experimental investigation to determine which treatments for COVID-19 disease is the most effective and *** research analysis is based on vast data gathered from professionals and research journals,making this study a comprehensive *** solve this challenging task,the researchers used the HF AHPTOPSIS Methodology,which is a well-known and highly effective MultiCriteria Decision Making(MCDM)*** technique assesses the many treatment options identified through various research papers and guidelines proposed by various countries,based on the recommendations of medical practitioners and *** review process begins with a ranking of different treatments based on their effectiveness using the HF-AHP approach and then evaluates the results in five different hospitals chosen by the authors as *** also perform robustness analysis to validate the conclusions of our *** a result,we obtained highly corroborative results that can be used as a *** results suggest that convalescent plasma has the greatest rank and priority in terms of effectiveness and demand,implying that convalescent plasma is the most effective treatment for SARS-CoV-2 in our *** also has the lowest priority in the estimation.

Uncertain and hesitant information, widely existing in the real-world qualitative decision making problems, brings great challenges to decision makers. hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets(HFLTSs), an effective linguistic computational tool in modeling and eliciting such information, have hence aroused many scholars’ interests and some extensions have been introduced ***, these methods are based on the discrete linguistic term framework with the limited expression domain, which actually depict qualitative information using several single values. Therefore,it is hard to ensure the integrity of the semantics representation and the accuracy of the computation results. To deal with this problem, a semantics basis framework called complete linguistic term set(CLTS) is designed, which adopts a separation structure of linguistic scale and expression domain, enriching semantics representation of decision makers. On this basis the concept of fuzzy interval linguistic sets(FILSs) is put forward that employs the interval linguistic term with probability to increase the flexibility of eliciting and representing uncertain and hesitant qualitative information. For practical applications, a fuzzy interval linguistic technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(FILTOPSIS) method is developed to deal with multi-attribute group decision making(MAGDM) problems. Through the cases of movie and enterprise resource planning(ERP) system selection, the effectiveness and validity of the proposed method are illustrated.
