Effect of feedback health education on postoperative rehabilitation of patients with lumbar disc herniation: a cluster randomised trials

Objective： Low rate of medication usage and blood pressure （BP） control, bad lifestyle, poor cognition to hypertension, have been obstacles in prevention from hypertensive disease and complication in Chinese cohort. health education appears to be an impendent measure to improve this situation. To study the effect of health education on the rate of medication usage and BP control, the lifestyle, and the incidence of complication among patients with hypertension. Methods ： 284 hypertensive inpatients were divided randomly into two groups： the control group was intervened with routine medication; the education group was intervened with routine medication in combination with intensive health education according to the investigation on the risk factors of cardiocerebrovascular diseases and cognitive levels of hypertensive .disease. During 12.16 ± 1.95 months of following up, the status of lifestyle, the rate of medication usage and BP control, and incidence of complications between two groups were analyzed. Results： In education group, the rate of smoking, alcohol intake, lower-salt ingesting, exercise, medication usage and BP control were improved after intervention and significantly different from those before intervention （P 〈 0.01）. After intervention, the incidence of complications in education group and control group was 10.9% and 30.5% respectively （P 〈 0.01 ）. Conclusion ： Intensive health education is an important measure in preventing from hypertension.

health law education,an important part of global health education,is beneficial for both medical and law *** field can help lawyers and policy makers to develop their careers and equip traditional health professionals,such as doctors and nurses,with a basic knowledge of health ***,unlike in western universities,health law education in China is still at its infant stage and,as such,lacks a systematic pedagogical approach among institutions of higher education in *** the advancements in the field of health law education,this study systematically reviews the status of health law education in institutions of higher learning in China and suggests ways to make the pedagogical approach more *** systematic review revealed that,between 2012 and 2021,major law schools and medical schools that have developed the subject of health law education in China lack consensus on the aim,scope,mode,and methods of health law *** first problem is that Chinese universities are unable to agree on how to classify the subject of health *** set of problems relate to institutions *** only do universities lack qualified health law faculty,but they also rely on relatively uninspiring teaching *** leads to ineffective,generic pedagogical approaches in both medical and law *** problems leave future lawyers,future doctors and nurses unclear about their choices for health law study at the graduate level and their ultimate career *** therefore propose four preliminary solutions to continue to develop this new interdisciplinary subject—health law education—in Chinese universities:clearly classify the subject of health law,equip the health law field with more professional textbooks,enact joint degree programs between medical schools and law schools,and establish a health law research center in either law schools or medical schools.

Influence of education training in patients with type 2 diabetes in the improvement of lifestyle and biochemical characteristics: a randomized controlled trial

Objective: The objective of this randomized controlled trial study was to evaluate the education training in relation to lifestyle improvement in patients with type 2 diabetes through its influence in the levels of glycated hemoglobin(HbA1 c), blood pressure, triglyceride, cholesterol levels, and body mass index(BMI).Methods: The study included patients with type 2 diabetes randomly selected from 20 residential areas in Tirana, Albania where family physicians provide services. The sample size in total was 200 patients in both groups(control and intervention). The education training(four sessions) was conducted by trained nursing staff for 6 months. Patients were screened for the biochemical profile before and after the intervention. To compare the groups with respect to the interest outcomes, the t-test was used. The value of P education sessions. After the intervention, in the intervention group, the mean level of HbA1 c was significantly lower than the value in the control group(6.2% vs 6.8%, P = 0.001) as well as for the mean values of BMI. The mean reduction(more than 15%) in HbA1 c after the intervention was 43% in the intervention group and 2% in the control group(OR = 36.9, P 0.05).Conclusions: The results of this study further support that the approach for education of patients with type 2 diabetes on changing lifestyle benefit the patient in controlling diabetes.
