A broadband class-F power amplifier for an S-band handset device is integrated on a 330.82 mm^3 die using an In Ga /GaAs HBT process. With LC serial harmonic traps immersed into the broadband output matching circuit, good harmonic suppression performance can be achieved. A pure resistive impedance of the matching circuit, but near zero at second and infinite at third harmonic frequency, which enhances the efficiency, is obtained across 1.8–2.5 GHz. Tested with a continuous wave（CW） signal, the PA delivers an output power of 34 dBm and achieves a PAE of 57% at 2 GHz. In addition, excellent harmonic suppression levels of less than –53 dBc across the second to fifth harmonic are obtained.

This paper presents a miniaturized microstrip branch-line coupler with good harmonic suppression performance. The proposed coupler consists of four branch-line sections, each of which is loaded by open-circuit stubs both at the center and the two ends. This type of loading can realize size reduction and harmonic suppression. As an example, a proposed branch-line coupler operating at 1.0 GHz is designed, fabricated and measured. The results show that the proposed branch-line coupler occupies 67% size of a conventional one and has better than 20 dB suppression from 1.9 to 5.8 GHz. Furthermore, the high slop of the transition band ensures good selectivity of the coupler.

To realize low harmonic distortion of the vibration waveform output from electromagnetic vibrators,we propose a vibration harmonic suppression technology based on an improved sensorless feedback control *** changing the original driving circuit,the alternating current(AC)equivalent resistance of the driving coil is used to obtain high-precision vibration velocity information,and then a simple and reliable velocity feedback control system is *** the study of the effect of different values of key parameters on the system,we have achieved an effective expansion of the velocity characteristic frequency band of low-frequency vibration,resulting in an enhanced harmonic suppression capability of velocity feedback *** present extensive experiments to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method and make comparisons with conventional control *** the frequency range of 0.01-1.00 Hz,without using any sensors,the method proposed in this study can reduce the harmonic distortion of the vibration waveform by about 40%compared to open-loop control and by about 20%compared to a conventional sensorless feedback control method.

Sampled SPWM is an excellent VVVF method of motor speed control, meanwhile the harmonic components of the output wave impairs its applications in practice. A designated harmonic suppression technology is presented for sampled SPWM, which is an improved algorithm for the harmonic suppression in high voltage and high frequency spectrum. As the technology is applied in whole speed adjusting range, the voltage can be conveniently controlled and high frequency harmonic of SP WM is also improved.

Study on SVG for Reactive Power Compensation and harmonic suppression Based on Active Current Separation

A hybrid coupler is developed at 2.0 GHz in this paper, with a 70% fractional bandwidth and good harmonic suppression over 30 d B at 6.0 GHz. The superior performance is mainly achieved by using EBG-/DGS-loaded arms and open circuited coupled lines. By carefully controlling the equivalent characteristic impedances of arms, the unequal power division ratio of 2:1 is also obtained, which has been demonstrated by the good agreement between measured and simulated results. The prototype is with a compact configuration of 48.0×21.5 mm.

The static var generator (SVG) with appropriate control method is a good solution to solve the problem of reactive power impact and harmonic pollution which is generated by the nonlinear *** this paper,a control strategy using active current separation and the current indirect control is used for *** active current separation is a method for detecting the harmonic and reactive current,and then the sum of the harmonic and reactive current is used as the value of *** studying on the method,we set up the simulation model and obtained the detection results of this algorithm,and we also get the reactive power compensation *** theoretical analysis and simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method.

Recently,Software-Defined Radio(SDR)has gained great popularity owing to its attractive merits,such as flexible signals configuration in multiple ***,commercial SDR equipment also has large spurious emissions in the Transmitting(Tx)*** paper presents a cascaded model for the Conducted Emission(CE)properties of a general SDR platform,which captures all the key components with high *** on a deeper understanding of the CE properties,a mitigation method is proposed for suppressing the spurious emissions of an SDR Tx *** method is based on an efficient vector signal cancellation scheme,in which multiple SDR channels are adopted to suppress the second-and third-order harmonic signals simultaneously.A hardware prototype with dual SDR channels is built and measured for *** results show that the suppression level of the third-order harmonic signal is 24 dB on average in the frequency range of 100 MHz to 3000 *** theoretic limit of the suppression level is related to the magnitude and phase errors,and the suppression level may be further improved by calibrating each SDR channel.
