The baryon spectrum and the baryon couplings are two of the most important issues in hadronic physics andthey are attracting much attention. Both on the experimental and theoretical sides, the nucleon excited states below2.0 GeV have been extensively studied[1]. However, the current information for the properties of states around orabove 2.0 GeV is scarce. On the other hand, in this energy region, many theoretical approaches have predictedmissing N states, which have not been so far observed. Hence, the study of the possible role played by the 2.0GeV region nucleon resonances in the available accurate data is timely and could shed light into the complicateddynamics that governs the high excited nucleon spectrum.

It is interesting to study the characteristics of the whole family of B c which contains two different heavy *** and the proposed Z 0 factory provide an opportunity because a large database of the B c family will be achieved.B c and its excited states can be identified via their decay *** suggested by experimentalists,B-c (ns) → B c +γ is not easy to be clearly measured,instead,the trajectories of π + and π- occurring in the decay of B c (ns) → B c (ms) + π + π( n > m ) can be unambiguously identified,thus the measurement seems easier and more reliable;therefore this mode is more favorable at the early running stage of LHCb and the proposed Z 0 *** this work,we calculate the rate of B c (ns) → B c (ms) + π + π-in terms of the QCD multipole-expansion and the numerical results indicate that the experimental measurements with the luminosity of LHC and Z 0 factory are feasible.

The bulk parameters characterizing the energy of symmetric nuclear matter and the symmetry energy defined at normal nuclear density ρ0 provide important information on the equation of state (EOS) of isospin asymmetric nuclear matter. While significant progress has been made in determining some lower order bulk characteristic parameters, such as the energy E0(ρ0) and incompress ibility K0 of symmetric nuclear matter as well as the symmetry energy Esym(ρ0) and its slope parameter L, yet the higher order bulk characteristic parameters are still poorly known. Here, we analyze the correlations between the lower and higher order bulk char acteristic parameters within the framework of Skyrme Hartree-Fock energy density functional and then estimate the values of some higher order bulk characteristic parameters. In particular, we obtain J0 = (-355±95) MeV and I0 = (1473±680) MeV for the third order and fourth-order derivative parameters of symmetric nuclear matter at ρ0 and Ksym = (-100 ± 165) MeV, Jsym = (224 ± 385) MeV, Isym = (-1309 ± 2025) MeV for the curvature parameter, third-order and fourth-order derivative parameters of the symmetry energy at ρ0, using the empirical constraints on E0(ρ0), K0, Esym(ρ0), L, and the isoscalar and isovector nucleon effective masses. Furthermore, our results indicate that the three parameters E0(ρ0), K0, and J0 can reasonably characterize the EOS of symmetric nuclear matter up to 2ρ0 while the symmetry energy up to 2ρ0 can be well described by Esym(ρ0), L, and Ksym.

We have studied Z+(4430)as a D*D1 molecule from the quark model,state mixing effect is considered by solving the coupled channel Schrdinger equation numerically. More precise measurements of Z+(4430)mass and width,partial wave analysis are helpful to understand its structure. If it lies below the D*D1 threshold,molecule interpretation with JP=1-is favored,and JP=0-can not be ruled out. Otherwise Z+(4430)may be a virtual state with JP=2-. The analogous heavy flavor mesons Z+bb and Z++bc are considered as well,and the masses predicted in our model are in agreement with the predictions from the potential model and QCD sum rule.

We report the results of a phase-shift analysis (PSA) of the low-energy π±p elastic-scattering data. Following the method which we had set forth in our previous PSA [1], we first investigate the self-consistency of the low-energy π±p elastic-scattering databases, via two separate analyses of (first) the π+p and (subsequently) the π-p elastic-scattering data. There are two main differences to our previous PSA: 1) we now perform only one test for the acceptance of each data set (based on its contribution to the overall 2) and 2) we adopt a more stringent acceptance criterion in the statistical tests. We show that it is possible to obtain self-consistent databases after removing a very small amount of the data (4.57% of the initial database). We subsequently fit the ETH model [38] to the truncatedπ±p elastic-scattering databases. The model-parameter values show reasonable stability when subjected to different criteria for the rejection of single data points and entire data sets. Our result for the pseudovector πNN coupling constant is 0.0726±0.0014. We extract the scattering lengths and volumes, as well as the s- and p-wave hadronic phase shifts up to T = 100 MeV. Large differences in the s-wave part of the interaction can be seen when comparing our hadronic phase shifts with the current SAID solution (WI08);there is general agreement in the p waves, save for the ~1/21- hadronic phase shift.

We have investigated the main experimental characteristics(multiplicity correlation ,angular distributions and the analysis of emission of the shower particles produced at target fragments in central collisions of 28Si+AgBr at 4.5AGeV/c has shown a formation of hadronic and baryonic clusters. Events of central collisions are defined, here, as those having no projectile charged fragments, even a singly charged one, emitted within 30 of the beam direction.
