Interlayer fault is a fracture zone caused by interlayer-sliding along the bedding surfaceof strata or uncomformity. Mainly, it is formed by relative slip between the rock beds whichhave lithologic difference in the process of compressive folding. It is utilized and reformed bythe succeeding tectonic actions. Due to its multiperiodic activity and large contact surfacewith uranium-bearing strata, it plays an active role in ore-control and metallogenesis in thecourse of a series of fault tectono-geochemical actions.
