Current research on text-conditional image generation shows parallel performance with ordinary painters but still has much room for improvement when compared to that of artist-ability paintings,which usually represent multilevel semantics by gathering features ofmultiple objects into one object.In a preliminary experiment,we confirm this and then seek the opinions of three groups of individuals with varying levels of art appreciation ability to determine the distinctions that exist between painters and artists.We then use these opinions to improve an artificial intelligence(AI)painting system from painter-level image generation toward artistic-level image generation.

Recently,humans have been facing serious water pollution problems that aggravate water resources shortages.By 2025,two-thirds of the world's population is likely to live in countries with moderate or severe water shortages(Azizullah et al.,2011).Rivers,lakes,and reservoirs are important sources of water.Globally,there are approximately 8.5 million rivers(Linke et al.,2019),21.15 million natural lakes,and 1.427 million large reservoirs(Messager et al.,2016).Many of them have been contaminated due to urbanization,industrialization,and agricultural activities.In particular,all rivers,lakes,and reservoirs have their own slow-gathering areas(SGAs)where the input contaminants are easily stopped and deposited due to their non-open morphologies and low flow speeds.

The National People’s Congress meets every year for about a week in March.But there is much more to China’s democracy.SOME 2,977 elected deputies will be attending the second plenary meeting of the 14th National People’s Congress at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing in early March.This,the world’s largest legislative body,is the most striking manifestation of China’s governance system,whole-process people’s democracy.For outsiders,the gathering seems symbolic and ceremonial.However,the deliberation undertaken by the unpaid deputies in the week that they are together is merely the most visible element in a complex consultative system of government.

Introduction:The concept of bio-cultural sovereignty is drawn from Native American Studies scholar Stefano Varese who explores the daily forms of biological and cultural resistance and adaptation in South America.This article extends Varese’s notions by exploring biological and cultural resistance in Native California with a particular focus on the continuing cultural practice of gathering.Methods:This article provides a case study analysis of the Lyng v.Northwest Indian Cemetery Protective Association(1988)Supreme Court case and uses traditional ecological knowledge to evaluate how bio-cultural sovereignty is affected by federal land management policies and Western constructions of ecology and the law.The methods are based in an interdisciplinary approach that embraces theoretical notions from linguistics,cultural anthropology,law,environmental justice,history,ecology,and Native American Studies.Results:As a practitioner of traditional ecological knowledge,I offer an analysis of ecological gathering practices to argue that policies,procedures,methodologies,or experiments should be designed in a way that acknowledges the indigenous bio-cultural sovereignty of the land space.Conclusions:Tribes have enacted and continue to enact bio-cultural sovereignty,which solidifies their relationship with the land.Written policies can be used to protect Native interests and to develop a relationship between Native peoples and other agencies.Federal agencies can benefit from these partnerships as tribes can offer assistance to care for these land spaces,state agencies can alleviate potential funding issues for maintaining these areas,and researchers and academics can construct knowledge that incorporates traditional ecological practices to build solid,informed best practices.

Recent studies have suggested that transplant of hiPS-CMs is a promising approach for treating heart failure.However,the optimally clinical benefits have been hampered by the immature nature of the hiPS-CMs,and the hiPS-CMs-secreted proteins contributing to the repair of cardiomyocytes remain largely unidentified.Here,we established a saponin+compound optimally induced system to generate hiPS-CMs with stable functional attributes in vitro and transplanted in heart failure mice.Our study showed enhanced therapeutic effects of optimally induced hiPS-CMs by attenuating cardiac remodeling and dysfunction,these beneficial effects were concomitant with reduced cardiomyocytes death and increased angiogenesis.Moreover,the optimally induced hiPS-CMs could gathering to the injured heart and secret an abundant PDGF-BB.The reparative effect of the optimally induced hiPS-CMs in the hypoxia-injured HCMs was mimicked by PDGF-BB but inhibited by PDGF-BB neutralizing antibody,which was accompanied by the changed expression of p-PI3K and p-Akt proteins.It is highly possible that the PI3K/Akt pathway is regulated by the PDGF-BB secreted from the compound induced hiPS-CMs to achieve a longer lasting myocardial repair effect compared with the standard induced hiPS-CMs.Taken together,our data strongly implicate that the compound induced hiPS-CMs promote the recovery of injured hearts via paracrine action.In this process,the paracrine factor PDGF-BB derived from the compound induced hiPS-CMs reduces isoproterenol-induced adverse cardiac remodeling,which is associated with improved cardiac function,and these effects are mediated by the PI3K/Akt pathway,suggesting that the optimally induced hiPS-CMs may serve as a new promising cell therapy for clinical applications.
