Two novel two-dimensional(2D)supramolecular organic frameworks were fabricated in water based on the encapsulation-enhanced donor-acceptor interaction between the methyl viologen(MV)units,methoxy naphthyl(MN)units,and CB[8].The tetraphenylethylene(TPE)derivatives 1 with four MV units were employed as rigid building blocks and the two MN units modified oligoethylene glycol derivatives 2 and 3 served as flexible edges,*** obtained two SOFs have obvious sheet-like structures and exhibit fluorescence emission at 350-500 *** addition,these two SOFs were employed for the luminescent detection of Cr(Ⅵ)and Mn(Ⅶ)in aqueous solutions,and the detection limits of CrO_(4)^(2-),Cr_(2)_(O)_(7)^(2-),and MnO_(4)were calculated in a very low concentration range,indicating that these two SOFs can serve as a potential sensor for Cr(Ⅵ)and Mn(Ⅶ)detection in *** work constructs two SOFs in an aqueous solution through a facile method and further enriches the applications of SOFs.

One new coordination polymer, [Co4(H2 O)4(μ3-OH)2(atz)2(L)]n(1), was solvothermally prepared by the reaction of 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole(Hatz), 4,8-disulfonyl-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid(H4 L) and Co^(Ⅱ) salt. It crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 10.4454(7), b = 12.2214(8), c = 10.0818(7) ?, b = 102.284(7), V = 1257.56(15) ?~3, Dc = 2.325 g/cm^3, Mr = 880.24, Z = 2, F(000) = 880, μ = 2.859 mm^(-1), the final R = 0.0426 and wR = 0.0822 for 5526 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). Structural analyses indicate that 1 exhibits a three-dimensional(3 D) pillared-layer framework with triazolate extended Co4^(Ⅱ) layers supported by rigid L^(4-) connectors. Magnetically, complex 1 displays strong spin-frustrated antiferromagnetism due to the triangular magnetic lattice and cooperative antiferromagnetic couplings mediated by quadruple heterobridges.

We defne quasi-speed as a generalization of linear speed and angular speed for parameterizations of curves and use the uniformity of quasi-speed to measure the quality of the *** such conceptual setting,a general framework is developed for studying uniformity behaviors under reparameterization via proper parameter transformation and for computing reparameterizations with improved uniformity of quasispeed by means of optimal single-piece,C0piecewise,and C1piecewise M¨obius *** are described for uniformity-improved reparameterization using diferent Mo¨bius transformations with diferent optimization *** are presented to illustrate the concepts,the framework,and the *** results are provided to validate the framework and to show the efciency of the algorithms.

One new chiral zeolitic rho-type metal-organic framework [Cd（L-ala）2]n（1） has been successfully synthesized based on L-alanine chiral ligand, which demonstrates the feasibility of fabricating MOF that integrates the 4-connected zeotype topology by the employment of L-alanine. To the best of knowledge, it’s the first report that metal-organic framework based on amino acid features the chiral zeolitic rho-type structure. Compound 1 was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystal data: C6 H9 CdN2 O4, Mr = 285.55, cubic system, space group I432, a = 24.0795（6）, V = 13961.9（10） ?3, Z = 48, Dc = 1.630 Mg/m3, F（000） = 6672, μ（Mo Kα） = 1.865 mm-1, S = 1.058, R = 0.0271 and wR = 0.0312 for 1870 observed reflections with I > 2σ（I）. The circular dichroism（CD） property of compound 1 was also investigated.

A visual engine is the core of a Digital Earth *** is a wide variety of functional requirements in Digital Earth system and different requirements correspond to different *** on the development of the visual engine for ChinaStar,a 3D Digital China prototype software platform,and analysis of 3D Digital Earth platforms such as Google Earth,Virtual Earth,Skyline,etc,are discussed.A common core framework for a visual engine is proposed in this paper to construct a visual engine and then with this framework various Digital Earth application systems can be developed *** parametric model of the Earth,scheduling and optimization in visual field,choice of 3D graphics library,and designing component-based visual engine framework of Digital Earth are discussed in *** addition,the relationships among these four basic components and the construction of visualization applications of Digital Earth by this method are also discussed.

We propose a novel progressive framework to optimize deep neural networks. The idea is to try to combine the stability of linear methods and the ability of learning complex and abstract internal representations of deep leaming methods. We insert a linear loss layer between the input layer and the first hidden non-linear layer of a traditional deep model. The loss objective for optimization is a weighted sum of linear loss of the added new layer and non-linear loss of the last output layer. We modify the model structure of deep canonical correlation analysis （DCCA）, i.e., adding a third semantic view to regularize text and image pairs and embedding the structure into our framework, for cross-modal retrieval tasks such as text-to-image search and image-to-text search. The experimental results show the performance of the modified model is better than similar state-of-art approaches on a dataset of National University of Singapore （NUS-WIDE）. To validate the generalization ability of our framework, we apply our framework to RankNet, a ranking model optimized by stochastic gradient descent. Our method outperforms RankNet and converges more quickly, which indicates our progressive framework could provide a better and faster solution for deep neural networks.

Disasters exact a heavy toll ***,the degree to which we can accurately quantify their impact,in particular mortality,remains *** is critical to ensure that disaster data reliably reflects the scale,type,and distribution of disaster impacts given the role of data in:(1)risk assessments;(2)developing disaster risk management programs;(3)determining the resources for response to emergencies;(4)the types of action undertaken in planning for prevention and preparedness;and(5)identifying research *** Sendai framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030 s seven global disaster-impact reduction targets represent the first international attempt to systematically measure the effectiveness of disaster-impact reduction as a means of better informing policy with *** A of the Sendai framework aims to‘‘substantially reduce global disaster mortality by 2030,aiming to lower the average per 100,000 global mortality rate in the decade 2020–2030 compared to the period 2005–2015.’’This article provides an overview of the complexities associated with defining,reporting,and interpreting disaster mortality data used for gauging success in meeting Target A,acknowledging different challenges for different types of hazard events and subsequent *** concludes with suggestions of how to address these challenges to inform the public health utility of monitoring through the Sendai framework.

Detecting the timing and amount of deformation is critical for understanding the physical causes and eventually warning of possible landslide hazards. Monitoring of deformation of structures and ground surface displacements during landslides can be accomplished by using different types of systems and techniques. Besides geotechnical or physical techniques, remote sensing techniques can be classified as satellite techniques, photo-grammetric techniques, geodetic techniques, ground based techniques, and so on. To study and govern growing geological disasters in China, especially in the Three Gorges area, Three Gorges Research Center for Geo-hazard （TGRG） is establishing an infra structure to ef-fectively and comprehensively analyze the mechanism of landslide deformation, focused on the Huangtupo landslide, using of various ad-vanced monitoring systems and techniques. In this article, the framework and latest advances of integration of multi remote sensing techniques in the infrastructure are presented. Different remote sensing techniques, data processing and integrating methods, and the latest results are discussed in detail. At last, reviews on current work and suggestions for further work are put forward.

Flood damage assessment(FDA)is a key component of risk-based method for flood *** the current FDA approaches,generally the uniqueness of the building is disregarded in the ***,they are unfit for detailed applications in which case-by-case analysis of building damage is an essential *** limitation is compounded by the use of incomplete and often low-quality data inputs about the building and the assumptions and approximations made regarding the geometry and materials of its *** shortcomings may result in incomplete and uncertain *** the benefits and increasing use of three-dimensional(3D)urban modeling and Building Information Model in various urban management processes,in this paper,an integrated framework for utilization of detailed 3D building models for the assessment and 3D visualization of flood damage to building according to its distinct behavior against flood is presented.A proof-ofconcept demonstration of the framework in a case study underlined the feasibility of implementation of the framework,which can potentially benefit a variety of users and be used as a complementary approach to the current FDA methods for improving the resilience of the community toward floods and their adverse impacts.
