This paper is concerned with the problem of robust H∞filtering for discrete-time switched linear systems with polytopic uncertainties in the finite frequency *** on the generalized Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov(GKYP) lemma and switched parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions,a switched full-order filter is designed such that the corresponding filtering error system is asymptotically stable and satisfies a prescribed finite frequency H∞performance *** with the existing full frequency approaches,the proposed finite frequency one receives better results for the cases in which the frequency ranges of noises are known.A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper proposes a static-output-feedback based robust fuzzy wheelbase preview control algorithm for uncertain active suspensions with time delay and finite frequency ***,a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy augmented model is established to formulate the half-car active suspension system with consideration of time delay,sprung mass variation and wheelbase preview ***,in view of the resonation between human’s organs and vertical vibrations in the frequency range of 4–8 Hz,a finite frequency control criterion in terms of H∞norm is developed to improve ride ***,other mechanical constraints are also considered and satisfied via generalized H2 ***,in order to maintain the feasibility of the controller despite of some state variables are not online-measured,a two stage approach is adopted to derive a static output feedback ***,numerical simulation results illustrate the excellent performance of the proposed controller.

This paper considers the problem of finite frequency(FF) H filtering for two-dimensional(2-D) continuous systems described by the Roesser state-space. Our attention is focused on designing filters guaranteeing the bounded-input-boundedoutput(BIBO) stability and FF H disturbance attenuation level of the filtering error system. By the generalized KalmanYakubovich-Popov lemma for 2-D continuous systems, the existence conditions of FF H filters are obtained in terms of solving liner matrix inequalities(LMIs). An example is given to validate the proposed methods.

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust H filtering for uncertain spatially interconnected time-delay systems(SITSs) with interconnected chains in finite frequency ***,by the delay-dependent finite frequency bounded ream lemma(BRL) for uncertain SITSs with interconnected chains,a finite frequency robust H filter design method can be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Finally,a numerical example is provided to clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper discusses the H∞ model reduction problem for linear continuous-time systems with pure state delay. Different from the conventional entire-frequency H∞ approximation performance specification, finite-frequency H∞ norm was adopted in this paper, which is a more suitable index to characterize the model reduction problems for systems with apriori known operating frequency range. Based on the recently developed TDS GKYP （time delay system Generalized Kalman- Yakubovich-Popov） lemma, sufficient conditions for the finite frequency H∞ model reduction problems are derived and expressed in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. Numerical example was included for illustration.

Indication from finite-frequency tomography beneath the North China Craton： The heterogeneity of craton destruction

We picked new traveltime residual datasets in three frequency bands （0.02%）. 1,0.1-0.8, and 0.8-2.0 Hz） for P-waves from 793 teleseismic events and two frequency bands （0.02-0.1 and 0.1-0.8 Hz） for S-waves from 310 teleseismic events, recorded by 389 permanent stations of the China National Seismic Network and 832 broadband stations of 10 temporary arrays deployed in the North China Craton （NCC） region. The final datasets are composed of 65628 P-arrivals and 47050 S-arrivals. Based on previous research and our team＇s 2012 tomographic work, we constructed new three-dimensional P-velocity and S- velocity models of the NCC through some improvements, such as augmenting a much denser station coverage in the western NCC, considering the incident angle effect in crustal correction and using a multi-frequency joint inversion tomographic technique. The new velocity models provide several salient features, from which we draw possible inferences on regional dynamic processes. We observed high-velocity anomalies in the mantle transition zone （MTZ）. Obvious morphological het- erogeneities suggest buckling and/or fragmentation of the subducted Pacific slab, and some of the slab materials are visible below 660-kin discontinuities. The velocity structure of the eastern NCC is dominated by small-scale lateral heterogeneities. At shallow depths, high-velocity anomalies beneath the southern part of the eastern NCC and the Yanshan region likely represent a remnant of cratonic lithosphere, which may suggest that the NCC destruction is spatially non-uniform. We also detected a high-velocity anomaly in the Sulu Orogen extending downward to -300 kin, which is seemingly controlled by the Tan-Lu Fault. The northern boundary of this anomaly spatially coincides with the Yantai-Qingdao-Wulian Fault, and is likely a remnant of the Yangtze cratonic lithosphere subducting northwestward. Significant low-velocity anomalies imaged beneath the central NCC show a spatial discordance between their north

This paper studies the problem of performance analysis for linear multi-delay systems in finite frequency *** the existing results about the performance analysis for time-delay systems in the entire frequency range,this study is focused on examining the performances of timedelay systems in finite frequency *** on a further generalization of the strict S-procedure,a sufficient condition for performance analysis of multi-delay systems in a certain frequency range is developed in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated via a numerical design example.

This paper is concerned with the problem of model reduction for spatially interconnected systems（SISs） over finite frequency ranges.A new technique for model reduction of SISs over middle-frequency ranges is first presented with the form of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）,which is also applicable to SISs over low-frequency ***,this technique is extended into the high-frequency case to cover all possible finite frequency ranges.A practical example is included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper presents a new approach to the proportional-derivative （PD） observer design for descriptor sys- tem subject to faults and exogenous unknown *** asymptotic estimate of the descriptor system state and fault are obtained *** order to minimize the influence of exogenous unknown disturbance on the estima- tion,knowledge on the disturbance/noise,such as frequency,is embedded into the design to enhance the performance of fault *** proposed method is posed on the solution of LMI and guarantees the estimation of the state and faults to the robust face to exogenous unknown disturbance .A numerical example is included.
