There are two kinds of methods in researching the crust deformation: geophysical method and geometrical (or observational) method. Considerable differences usually exist between the two kinds of results, because of the datum differences, geophysical model errors, observational model errors, and so on. Thus, it is reasonable to combine the two kinds of information to collect the crust deformation information. To use the reliable geometrical and geophysical information, we have to control the observational and geophysical model error influences on the estimated deformation parameters, and to balance their contributions to the evaluated parameters. A hybrid estimation strategy is proposed here for evaluating the deformation parameters employing an adaptively robust filtering. The effects of measurement outliers on the estimated parameters are controlled by robust equivalent weights. Adaptive factors are introduced to balance the contribution of the geophysical model information and the geometrical measurements to the model parameters. The datum for the local deformation analysis is mainly determined by the highly accurate IGS station velocities. The hybrid estimation strategy is applied in an actual GPS monitoring network. It is shown that the hybrid technique employs locally repeated geometrical displacements to reduce the displacement errors caused by the mis-modeling of geophysical technique, and thus improves the precision of the estimated crust deformation parameters.

According to the main characteristic of sharp peak, the method of spline wavelet combined with spline interpolation interruption filtering analysis is proposed for a sudden change (an unstable) noised signal and is applied in V and Mn CCD-ICP-AEC spectral signal. The satisfactory results show that the new technique is effective-on enhancing the clarity and accuracy of an unstable signal.

Static filtering and collocation in successive steps for measurements with colored noises

Despite its efficiency, the general approach of hardcoding protocol format descriptions in packet processing applications suffers from many limitations. Among the others, the lack of flexibility when needing to extend the software for supporting new protocols, and the proliferation of modules with similar functionality between different applications, resulting in decreased maintainability. The NetPDL language was defined for overcoming such limitations, allowing decoupling applications from the knowledge of the format of protocol headers. The main criticism to NetPDL relates to its supposed performance penalties;this paper demonstrates that this language can be effectively used for the dynamic generation of optimized, i.e. efficient and fast, packet-processing code, and presents the architecture of a compiler implemented for such purpose.

The theory of static filtering in successive steps with colored noises is ample scope for its application in the procedure of GPS data processing. A majority of error and round-cycle distinctness in the measurements of GPS carrier phase can be eliminated through three times of differential calculations of stations, satellites and epochs, in which the cycle beatings became isolated values. The observation error of three-differentials in the intervals between epochs results in block diagonal matrixes in the covariance matrixes, so that the desired matrixes occupy too large memory and the processing time is too long. Therefore, by using the theory of static filtering in successive steps with colored noises, the interrelation can be eliminated and can save the processing time and memory.

The tea yield estimation provides information support for the harvest time and amount and serves as a decision-making basis for farmer management and picking.However,the manual counting of tea buds is troublesome and inefficient.To improve the efficiency of tea yield estimation,this study presents a deep-learning-based approach for efficiently estimating tea yield by counting tea buds in the field using an enhanced YOLOv5 model with the Squeeze and Excitation Network.This method combines the Hungarian matching and Kalman filtering algorithms to achieve accurate and reliable tea bud counting.The effectiveness of the proposed model was demonstrated by its mean average precision of 91.88%on the test dataset,indicating that it is highly accurate at detecting tea buds.The model application to the tea bud counting trials reveals that the counting results from test videos are highly correlated with the manual counting results(R^(2)=0.98),indicating that the counting method has high accuracy and effectiveness.In conclusion,the proposed method can realize tea bud detection and counting in natural light and provides data and technical support for rapid tea bud acquisition.

Playing an increasingly important role in the security protection of the network information systems,the intrusion detection system(IDS) becomes a hotspot of research interest nowadays.However,this technology in the kernel to many of these systems,namely string searching algorithm,has not received enough attention.By utilizing the concurrent mechanisms(multi-threading) provided by modern operation systems,such work can be divided symmetrically and thus improve the throughput of the corresponding application effectively.Presented in this work is a paralleled string searching algorithm-PBM,an algorithm based on the famous Boyer-Moore(BM) string searching algorithm.Taken as a dividable process,the string searching work is distributed between many cooperating threads of execution in the PBM algorithm,while each of them searches the target pattern in their respective share of the target strings.As compared with the traditional string searching algorithms,the PBM algorithm can do the pattern matching work faster by increasing the data processing throughput,thus adapting better to the drastic increase in the network band width.A simplification of the PBM algorithm that can be used as a multi-string searching algorithm is also suggested with supporting simulations,which is a promising approach when the number of target patterns is limited.

Hydraulic manipulators are usually applied in heavy-load and harsh operation tasks.However,when faced with a complex operation,the traditional proportional-integral-derivative(PID)control may not meet requirements for high control performance.Model-based full-state-feedback control is an effective alternative,but the states of a hydraulic manipulator are not always available and reliable in practical applications,particularly the joint angular velocity measurement.Considering that it is not suitable to obtain the velocity signal directly from differentiating of position measurement,the low-pass filtering is commonly used,but it will definitely restrict the closed-loop bandwidth of the whole system.To avoid this problem and realize better control performance,this paper proposes a novel observerbased adaptive robust controller(obARC)for a multi-joint hydraulic manipulator subjected to both parametric uncertainties and the lack of accurate velocity measurement.Specifically,a nonlinear adaptive observer is first designed to handle the lack of velocity measurement with the consideration of parametric uncertainties.Then,the adaptive robust control is developed to compensate for the dynamic uncertainties,and the close-loop system robust stability is theoretically proved under the observation and control errors.Finally,comparative experiments are carried out to show that the designed controller can achieve a performance improvement over the traditional methods,specifically yielding better control accuracy owing to the closed-loop bandwidth breakthrough,which is limited by low-pass filtering in fullstate-feedback control.

This study proposes a ladder gradient method for neutron and gamma-ray discrimination.The proposed method exhibited state-of-the-art performance with low time consumption,which incorporates two parts:information extraction and discrimination factor calculation.A quasi-continuous spiking cortical model was proposed to extract information from the radiation pulse signals,thus generating an ignition map corresponding to each pulse signal.The ignition map can be used to calculate the discrimination factor.A ladder gradient calculation was introduced to obtain a discrimination factor with low computational complexity.The proposed method was compared with five other discrimination methods to evaluate its robustness and efficacy.Furthermore,the filter adaptability of the pulse-coupled neural network and ladder gradient methods was investigated.Possible reasons for adapting the conditions with different discrimination methods and filters were analyzed.Experiments were conducted in 20 filtering situations with 11 types of filters to determine the most suitable filters for discrimination methods.The experimental results revealed that the three most adaptive filters of the pulse-coupled neural networks and ladder gradient methods are the wavelet,elliptic,and median filters and the elliptic,moving average,and wavelet filters,respectively.

Surface Electromyography (EMG) is a standard method used in clinical practice and research to assess motor function in order to help with the diagnosis of neuromuscular pathology in human and animal models. EMG recorded from trunk muscles involved in the activity of breathing can be used as a direct measure of respiratory motor function in patients with spinal cord injury (SCI) or other disorders associated with motor control deficits. However, EMG potentials recorded from these muscles are often contaminated with heart-induced electrocardiographic (ECG) signals. Elimination of these artifacts plays a critical role in the precise measure of the respiratory muscle electrical activity. This study was undertaken to find an optimal approach to eliminate the ECG artifacts from EMG recordings. Conventional global filtering can be used to decrease the ECG-induced artifact. However, this method can alter the EMG signal and changes physiologically relevant information. We hypothesize that, unlike global filtering, localized removal of ECG artifacts will not change the original EMG signals. We develop an approach to remove the ECG artifacts without altering the amplitude and frequency components of the EMG signal by using an externally recorded ECG signal as a mask to locate areas of the ECG spikes within EMG data. These segments containing ECG spikes were decomposed into 128 sub-wavelets by a custom-scaled Morlet Wavelet Transform. The ECG-related subwavelets at the ECG spike location were removed and a de-noised EMG signal was reconstructed. Validity of the proposed method was proven using mathematical simulated synthetic signals and EMG obtained from SCI patients. We compare the Rootmean Square Error and the Relative Change in Variance between this method, global, notch and adaptive filters. The results show that the localized wavelet-based filtering has the benefit of not introducing error in the native EMG signal and accurately removing ECG artifacts from EMG signals.
