A fault detection and isolation(FDI)scheme for discrete time-delay system is proposed in this paper,which can not only detect but also isolate the faults.A time delay operator  is introduced to resolve the problem brought by the time-delay *** design and computation for the FDI system is carried by computer math tool Maple,which can easily deal with the symbolic *** in the form of parity space can be deduced from the recursion of the system *** more,a generalized residual set is created using the freedom of the parity space ***,both fault detection and fault isolation have been *** proposed method has been verified by a numerical example.

This paper deals with fault detection and isolation（FDI） of electric power steering（EPS） system using bond graph（BG） technique and fault sensitivity ***,BG tool is used to model the EPS system,and preferred differential causality is introduced for assigning causality to BG ***,analytical redundancy relations and fault sensitivity signature matrices can be respectively constructed for fault detection and isolation based on BG *** terms of fault sensitivity signature,upper threshold and lower threshold are utilized to obtain more accurate coherence vectors（CVs）,which can improve fault ***,the effectiveness of proposed method is validated through simulation investigations.

According to the reliability and safety requirement for aircraft,fault detection and isolation（FDI） is essential to improve the fault tolerant performance of the navigation ***,conventional principal component analysis（PCA）method does not consider the fault detection of the dynamic system and a high rate of false alarm *** paper proposes a modified method combined both superiority of generalized likelihood test（GLT）and principal component analysis（PCA）.Firstly,this method through comparing the distribution of the projected points in the feature plane of the sensors data and historical normal navigation data detects the ***,determines the time interval of failure by analyzing the length of each *** we compute the contribution of the variables to the statistic Q to carry out fault *** Carlo simulation is carried out in order to verify the validity of the *** show that this method can isolate the influence of the vehicle’s own vibration on the sensors data effectively and can reduce the false alarm ***,this method can correctly detect and isolate the 2.4e-4rad/s amplitude of the fault while the noise level is ***,this method can provide a new theoretical reference for the fault detection of aircraft redundant inertial measurement unit（RIMU）.

State reconstruction approach is very useful for sensor fault isolation, reconstruction of faulty measurement and the determination of the number of components retained in the principal components analysis （PCA） model. An extension of this approach based on a Nonlinear PCA （NLPCA） model is described in this paper. The NLPCA model is obtained using five layer neural network. A simulation example is given to show the performances of the proposed approach.

For switched cyber-physical systems with disturbances and actuator faults, we address fault detection and isolation problems. First, the preconditions relative to subsystems are discussed in detail,and the original subsystems are turned into an overall system. Second, the frequency ranges of faults are considered to belong to the finite-frequency domain, and the observer, which makes the residual robust against disturbances and sensitive to faults, is designed by combining the finite-frequency H-technique with the mixed L2-L∞/H∞technique. Third, design conditions, which guarantee that the error system is stable and satisfies the mixed performance, are derived using the average dwell time method and Lyapunov functionals. Finally, a traffic density dynamic model is proposed to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed method.

For the integrity monitoring of a multi-source PNT(Positioning,Navigation,and Timing)resilient fusion navigation system,a theoretical framework of multi-level autonomous integrity monitoring is *** to the mode of multi-source fusion navigation,the framework adopts the top-down logic structure and establishes the navigation source fault detection model based on the multi-combination separation residual method to detect and isolate the fault source at the system level and subsystem *** isolated non-redundant navigation sources,the system level recovery verification model is *** the isolated multi-redundant navigation sources,the sensor fault detection model optimized with the dimension-expanding matrix is used to detect and isolate the fault sensors,and the isolated fault sensors are verified in ***,according to the fault detection and verification results at each level,the observed information in the fusion navigation solution is dynamically *** this basis,the integrity risk dynamic monitoring tree is established to calculate the Protection Level(PL)and evaluate the integrity of the multi-source integrated navigation *** autonomous integrity monitoring method proposed in this paper is tested using a multi-source navigation system integrated with Inertial Navigation System(INS),Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS),Long Baseline Location(LBL),and Ultra Short Baseline Location(USBL).The test results show that the proposed method can effectively isolate the fault source within 5 s,and can quickly detect multiple faulty sensors,ensuring that the positioning accuracy of the fusion navigation system is within 5 m,effectively improving the resilience and reliability of the multi-source fusion navigation system.

Support vector machines and a Kalman-like observer are used for fault detection and isolation in a variable speed horizontalaxis wind turbine composed of three blades and a full converter. The support vector approach is data-based and is therefore robust to process knowledge. It is based on structural risk minimization which enhances generalization even with small training data set and it allows for process nonlinearity by using flexible kernels. In this work, a radial basis function is used as the kernel. Different parts of the process are investigated including actuators and sensors faults. With duplicated sensors, sensor faults in blade pitch positions,generator and rotor speeds can be detected. faults of type stuck measurements can be detected in 2 sampling periods. The detection time of offset/scaled measurements depends on the severity of the fault and on the process dynamics when the fault occurs. The converter torque actuator fault can be detected within 2 sampling periods. faults in the actuators of the pitch systems represents a higher difficulty for fault detection which is due to the fact that such faults only affect the transitory state(which is very fast) but not the final stationary state. Therefore, two methods are considered and compared for fault detection and isolation of this fault: support vector machines and a Kalman-like observer. Advantages and disadvantages of each method are discussed. On one hand, support vector machines training of transitory states would require a big amount of data in different situations, but the fault detection and isolation results are robust to variations in the input/operating point. On the other hand, the observer is model-based, and therefore does not require training, and it allows identification of the fault level, which is interesting for fault reconfiguration. But the observability of the system is ensured under specific conditions, related to the dynamics of the inputs and outputs. The whole fault detection
