We have carefully read the correspondence“false Discov-ery Rate Control in Cancer Biomarker Selection”authored by Li.The author clarified the need of paying attention to the control of false discovery rate(FDR)when screening for cancer biomarkers.They expressed concerns about whether the 30 genes concluded in Figure 7 in our published paper“LPCAT1 functions as a novel prognostic molecular marker in hepatocellular carcinoma”call for FDR control.

Rice grain production and quality are threatened by many devastating diseases.false smut caused by Ustilaginoidea virens is emerging as a major fungal disease of rice,leading to a severe loss of yield.U.virens invades only rice panicles at the late stage of booting and replaces grains with false smut balls containing mycotoxins,which endanger human and animal health(Sun et al.,2020).This successful colonization is accomplished through manipulating host immune responses by U.virens effectors.

In order to improve the sensitivity of the Compass B1C signal acquisition for the receiver,the principle of constant false alarm rate(CFAR)is applied for the B1C pilot channel acquisition to realize the dynamic adjustment of the threshold of acquisition against the carrier to noise ratio.The non-coherent data/pilot combined acquisition algorithm for B1C signal is analyzed to make full use of the power of the B1C signal under the condition of low carrier to noise ratio.On this basis,to improve the acquisition sensitivity of the receiver,the principle of constant false alarm probability is applied for the non-coherent data/pilot combined acquisition algorithm.Theoretical analysis and simulations show that the non-coherent data/pilot combined acquisition algorithm with CFAR improves the B1C signal acquisition sensitivity of the receiver significantly,and achieves a better Receiver Operating Characteristic compared with the traditional acquisition algorithms.

Many practices of the rotor spinning show that the false twist effect of the navel is much more complicated than that of the one point based friction model. Both ends of the yarn＇s twist and torque changes were analyzed under the static effect of the navel, and then established yarn twist ratio on both ends. It verified its correctness through simulation experiment by designing the experimental device, and analyzed the effect of navers radius on twist ratio.

In order to study the influence of backscattering of indicating laser in laser guidance process and laser guidance countermeasure test, the scattering function and volume extinction coefficient of typical aerosol distribution are calculated, and the backscattering detection model of 1.06 μm horizontally transmitted laser is established, based on Mie scattering theory and scattering function optimization algorithm;the model is used to study the change of backscattering energy detected by the detector at different positions and different detection angles, and the false-alarm area of laser guidance along the indicating laser path under different detection thresholds is obtained. The results can help to deepen the understanding of the influence of atmospheric scattering on the laser guidance process, and provide theoretical reference for the scheme design of the laser guidance countermeasure test.

In Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), the operation costs represent one of the big challenges for researchers. They are apart from the IDS cost acquisition and they comprise the costs of maintenance, administration, response, running and errors reactions costs. In the present paper, we focus on the missed reactions which include false Positive (FP) and false Negative (FN) reactions. For that a new optimization cost model is proposed for IDS. This optimization proposes a minimal interval where the IDSs work optimally. In simulation, we found this interval as a trade-off between the damage costs and the FP.
