AN exponential-type WEIGHTED IMPLICIT SCHEME AND ALTERNATING GROUP EXPLICIT ITERATIVE METHOD FOR BURGERS EQUATION

A new exponential-type weighted implicit difference schcme for solving the Burgers equation was developed and iterated by using the Alternating Group Explicit （AGE） method which has the obvious property of parallelism. The stability of the method was analyzed with linearization procedure. A model problem was numerically solved with the proposed scheme. The results show that the method is superb or to some existing schemes.

＜正＞A new exponential type finite-difference scheme of second-order accuracy for solving the unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equation was presented. The driven flow in a square cavity was used as the model problem usually;we applied the new exponential type finite-difference scheme to this problem. Numerical results were given in the form of data, and the streamline and Vorticity Contours were described under different Reynolds number. It was very obvious that our results were in good agreement with Ghia et al. （***.,1982, 48: 387-411）.
