Experiments and evidences: jellyfish (Nemopilema nomurai) decomposing and nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorus) released

The aim of this study was to investigate nitrogen and phosphorus released in the process of the decomposition of giant jellyfish in the laboratory and found the evidence to verify the influence of nutrients released by the decomposition of jellyfish on the ecosystem in the field. The release of nitrogen and phosphorus from the decomposition of Nernopilerna nomurai was examined in a series of experiments under different incubation conditions such as different pH values, salinity values, temperatures and nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations. The results showed that the complete decomposition of Nemopilema nomurai generally took about 4-8 d. The release of nitrogen and phosphorus from the decomposition of Nemopilema nomurai could be divided into two stages： the early stage and the later stage, although the efflux rate of nitrogen was one order more than phosphorus. In the early stage of the decomposition of Nemopilema nomurai, the concentrations of dissolved nitrogen, dissolved phosphorus, total nitrogen and total phosphorus in seawater increased rapidly, and the concentration of nitrogen could reach the highest level in the whole degradation process. In the later stage of the decomposition, the concentrations of dissolved nitrogen and total nitrogen declined slowly, while the concentration of phosphorus in water could reach a maximum in the degradation process. High pH, low salinity, high temperature and N/P will promote the release of nitrogen; low pH is unfavorable to the release of nitrogen but favorable to the release of phosphorus. In addition, we found the concentrations of ammonium and phosphate in the bottom water were higher than those in the surface water during the period of jellyfish bloom in the ]iaozhou Bay, proving that nutrients released by the decomposition of jellyfish have significant influence on nitrogen and phosphorus in the field. The uplift history has been becoming the key for the geological science of Qinghai—Tibet plateau. The scholars abroad have reconstructed uplift history of the plateau by studying geological process of the inner globe, they considered that the altitude of the plateau got up to the maximum at 14Ma (*** et al, 1995; *** et al, 1993)or the plateau got to the present elevation at about 8Ma (***,1992). The Chinese geologists make use of substitutes of outer environmental elements to deduce that the uplift of Qinghai—Tibet plateau began from 3 4Ma(Li Jijun,1995). It is obvious that there are the different views and controversies about the plateau uplift history.

We consider n observations from the GARCH-type model: Z = UY, where U and Y are independent random variables. We aim to estimate density function Y where Y have a weighted distribution. We determine a sharp upper bound of the associated mean integrated square error. We also make use of the measure of expected true evidence, so as to determine when model leads to a crisis and causes data to be lost.

STUDY ON THE EXCLUSION OF REPEATED VERBAL evidences

After the establishment and enforcement of the exclusionary rules of illegal evidences, the problems of excluding repeated verbal evidences appeared gradually. When the behaviors of illegally collecting evidences occur,does this mean that the followed-up series of collecting evidences behaviors are illegal?This is the issue with the exclusion of repeated verbal evidences. The exclusion of repeated verbal evidences is the inevitable requirement of the effective enforcement of the exclusionary rules of illegal evidences. Also,the exclusion of illegal evidences is the key and premise program of excluding repeated verbal evidences,but in Chinese judicial practice,the negative attitude of a kind of malfeasance of the court to enforce the exclusionary rules of illegal evidences,the 'homogeneous'kind of relationship between our court system,police system and procuratorial system in current period all mean that the exclusion of repeated verbal evidence will surely face ring upon ring obstacles. Otherwise,the restriction of judicial discretion in judicial practice requires the exclusion of repeated verbal evidences to insist on the principle of absolute exclusion,and this determines that the method of depending on judicial discretion to solve the problem of the scope of exclusion is inapplicable.

Hydroxyalkylation of Cyclic Imides with Oxiranes. Part II. The Mechanism of Reaction in Presence of Triethylamine

The mechanism of reaction of cyclic monoimides with oxiranes was established based upon kinetic studies and product analysis. It has been established that the reaction proceeds through initial formation of an adduct of imide and triethylamine. The crucial bond in adduct has ionic character;in non-aqueous solvents it is present as ion pair, while in water the adduct dissociate and free ions are present. The adduct enables the proton transfer from imide to oxirane. The rate determining step is reaction of imide and this adduct. Different values of entropy of transition states obtained from thermodynamic calculations suggest slightly different structure of transition state of rate determining step.
