Effect of foaming agent,foam stabilizer and whipping time on drying process of tomato paste under different drying equipment

Laboratory experiments were conducted to determine the effect of foaming agent(egg white(EW)),foam stabilizer(carboxyl methyl cellulose(CMC))and whipping time on drying rate and quality of tomato(Lycopersicon esculentus)paste dried under air oven,microwave oven and mechanical dryer.A 43 factorial experiment in Randomized Complete Block Design(RCBD)was used to study the effect of four levels each of foaming agent(5%,10%,15%and 20%EW),foam stabilizer(0.15%,0.30%,0.45%and 0.60%CMC)and whipping time(3,5,7 and 9 min)on the drying rate and the quality of foam-mat dried tomato powder in the three drying *** trial was performed in triplicates making a total number of 576 samples that were individually tested and measured.25 g sample of the paste was dried to a moisture content of 7.60%(wb)for 8 h in mechanical dryer and oven dryer at temperatures of 55◦C and 50◦C,respectively,and 10 min in microwave oven at 540 *** obtained from the experiments were statistically analyzed using the analysis of variance(ANOVA)while the Duncan’s Multiple Range Test was used to compare the *** showed that the drying rate increased with increase in foaming agent,foam stabilizer and whipping with minimum values of 9.21 g/h obtained in mechanical dryer,9.31 g/h in air oven and 8.05 g/h in microwave *** in foaming agent,foam stabilizer and whipping time did not cause any adverse effect on vitamin C,ash,protein,fat,carbohydrate,crude fiber contents of the *** reached a stable moisture content of 7.60%(wb)in less than 8 h in mechanical dryer and air and less than 10 min in microwave *** results of the study showed that EW,CMC and whipping time influenced the drying rate and quality of foam-mat dried tomato powder.

Type Selection of Burning equipment for Lignite Boilers

The special design for the furnace and burner of boilers burning lignite is analyzed and the type selection of the pulverizing system is discussed by taking account of the lignite’s characteristics of high moisture, low heating value and low ash fusion temperature. The impact of such characteristics on the type selection of burning equipment and pulverizing systems for the lignite boiler is studied. The value ranges of the furnace characteristic parameters for the lignite boiler are recommended. For the old lignite, the premix period in the burner should not be too long in order to avoid slagging and the velocity of the primary air is suggested to be between 17 m/s and 22 m/s. The direct-flow burner with tangential firing is preferred for lignite with the moisture higher than 35%. The medium-speed mill is better to be used for lignite with the moisture less than 35%, while for lignite with the moisture higher than 40% the fan mill should be the first choice.

The Transformer equipment Selection’s Update Decision Technical and Economic Analysis Model

Based on the current situation of the domestic transformer equipment selection, the paper analyses the SH15, S11 and S9 transformer from the angles of annual running power consumption, payback period, energy efficiency of the transformer, furthermore, determine the best optimal capacity, load factor and update Year of the SH15-type transformers. Example analysis results show that, from the point of view of the technical and economic the SH15-type transformer has better economic and environmental benefits, and large capacity SH15 transformer better comprehensive benefits.

A Valid Method for the Forecasting Economic Life Circle of equipment

In order to promote the development of biomass pyrolysis liquefaction technology, a novel fluidized bed biomass pyrolysis liquefaction equipment with 5Kg/h process load was developed. The incondensable gas was used as the circulation fluidization gas in the equipment, which lowered the running expenses. The overall construction is compact and simple and each key system is consummately designed, so it satisfied the need of biomass pyrolysis liquefaction reaction. Experiment with the Pobulus Davidiana wood as raw material indicated that the basic technological parameters of the new equipment were that reaction temperature 500-600℃ , material particle size 0.5-0.9 mm, material moisture content below 10%.

Research on Storage Capacity of Compressed Air Pumped Hydro Energy Storage equipment

Compressed air pumped hydro energy storage equipment combines compressed air energy storage technology and pumped storage technology. The water is pumped to a vessel to compress air for energy storage, and the compressed air expanses pushing water to drive the hydro turbine for power generation. The novel storage equipment saves natural gas resources, reduces carbon emission, and improves the controllability and reliability. The principle of compressed air pumped hydro energy storage is introduced and its mathematical model is built. The storage and generation process of the novel equipment is analyzed using the model. The calculation formula of the storage power is deduced in theory in different situations of isothermal and adiabatic compression. The optimal storage scheme is given when the capacity and withstand pressure of the vessel is definitive, and the max available capacity and the equipment utilization efficiency evaluation of the scheme is given.

Traditional triage cannot meet the needs of modern warfare. This paper describes the design of triage and evacuation equipment for casualties at sea that can quickly address mass-casualty triage and store and transmit information during battlefield treatment and medical evacuation. This equipment consists of a high-capacity medical information card, a simulated patient generator, a triage classifier and a multifunctional airbag triage vest.
