With the continuous improvement of population and people’s living standard,traditional consumption pattern at the cost of great consumption of resources and energy brought more serious damages to environment and development,and became the core of constant deterioration of environmental problems in present ***,the reform from current traditional consumption pattern to environment-friendly consumption pattern beneficial to sustainable development has become the important theoretical and practical subject at *** relationship between environmental problems and consumption problems was analyzed firstly,and then the characteristics and disadvantages of traditional consumption pattern were discussed,finally the necessity and ways of constructing environment-friendly consumption pattern were put forward,so as to provide theoretical foundation for the reform of current traditional consumption pattern.

On Adaptation Measures to Solve Tel-Aviv’s environmental problems with “Sunny Rain”

The status of 2246 urban drinking water source areas in China from 661 cities was investigated,and the results show that the water quantity supply from these source water areas is about 495.73 hundred million m,serving 6.52 hundred million *** is indicated by water quality investigation that,in China,there are 1809 centralized drinking water source areas(80.54% of the total amount)which water quality can meet water quality *** differences of pollution characteristic are obvious among different types of drinking water source area,such as river-type drinking water source area,lake-typo drinking water source area and groundwater-type drinking water source *** main reasons for causing the environmental insecurity of drinking water source areas include the insufficient control of watershed and regional contamination,the ineffective management of pollution sources in source water protection areas,the potential threats of agricultural non-point sources,unrensonable way for delinenting source water protection areas,non-perfection of legal regime,and the relative weakness of environmental regulation ability, *** on above analysis,the environmental protecting measures for drinking water sources are baing put forward as well.

Adaptation measures were proposed using“Sunny Rain”to solve Tel Aviv’s environmental problems to cool the air in the city and save humanity from climate catastrophe and fight air pollution;the Yarkon,“Tel Aviv’s main river”will no longer be a dirty ditch;the fog from Ben-Gurion Airport was cleaned;neighborhoods,parks,around Tel Aviv were greened and all green spaces were irrigated with“Sunny Rain”.

Through careful study, it found that the key and difficult points of affecting and restricting Xi＇an to reach the model city construction standards in provincial and national levels were ＂urban air environment quality standards＂ and ＂water qualification rate of urban water environment function area＂. In order to tackle with the weak links, highlight the important points and focus on the difficult points to strengthen scientific and technological innovation, we actively explored new ideas and ways to resolve the dilemma in meeting the two standards of model city construction, and we managed to put forward the countermeasures to resolve the dilemma through innovating system and mechanism. ＂Place master system＂ should be carded out quickly to meet the ＂urban air environment quality standards＂, while ＂river master system＂ should be implemented as soon as possible to reach the ＂water qualification rate of urban water environment function area＂. The aim of this study was to enhance the qualification rates of the indicators for model city construction to make Xi＇an successfully pass the provincial and national assessment of model city construction through dealing with the weak links to accelerate the realization of becoming model environmental protection city.

[Objective]We aimed to study the influencing factors and comprehensive management of environmental problems in Dongping Lake.[Method]Based on field investigation and historical data,environmental problems of Dongping Lake and their influencing factors were analyzed,and seven measures about comprehensive management of environmental issues and ecological protection of Dongping Lake were put forward.[Result]During recent years,the content of total nitrogen and total phosphorus in Dongping Lake showed a decreasing trend,but the water was still in the eutrophic *** environmental problems of Dongping Lake,like flood,drought and pollution,are closely linked to natural and man-made factors,such as regional seasonal precipitation,industrial and agricultural pollution,*** order to control the environmental problems of Dongping Lake,we should strengthen the construction and management of wetland nature reserves,develop ecological agriculture,establish an integral system for environmental monitoring and information management,reinforce propaganda and education to improve residents’ environmental consciousness,etc.[Conclusion]The research could provide scientific references for the comprehensive management of environmental problems in Dongping Lake and its basin.

China is in a dominant position in apple production globally with both the largest apple growing area and the largest export of fresh apple fruits. However, the annual productivity of China＇s apple is significantly lower than that of other dominant apple producing countries. In addition, apple production is based on excessive application of chemical fertilizers and the nutrient use efficiency （especially nitrogen） is therefore low and the nutrient emissions to the environment are high. Apple production in China is considerably contributes to farmers＇ incomes and is important as export product. There is an urgent need to enhance apple productivity and improve nutrient use efficiencies in intensive apple production systems in the country. These can be attained by improved understanding of production potential, yield gaps, nutrient use and best management in apple orchards. To the end, priorities in research on apple production systems and required political support are described which may lead to more sustainable and environmental-friendly intensification of apple production in China.

Jianghan Lakes lie in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The evolution of the lakes during Holocene can be divided into three periods. Since Ming Dynasty, owing to natural factors and human activity, the lakes have accelerated the shrinking process. This has resulted in a series of rural and urban environmental problems, such as the disasters of flooding, inundation, and water\|logging; declination of aquatic resources; increase of diseases; swamping of lake districts; and deterioration of urban environment (taking Wuhan City into consideration). In order to realize sustainable development in this area, several corresponding countermeasures should be taken.
