With the progressive reforms of China’s household registration system,China has unleashed its demographic dividends over the time and promoted the economic growth.Guided by the new vision of development,urban inclusiveness,especially the urban inclusiveness to the migrant population,will become a force for driving economic growth.Using the 2016 China Migrants Dynamic Survey(CMDS)dataset,we measure urban inclusiveness with the level of migrants’access to same public services and social security as local residents and explore the effects of urban inclusiveness on migrants’entrepreneurship.The results show that urban inclusiveness encourages migrants to start businesses and has a positive effect on the level of entrepreneurship.The urban environmental conditions and heterogeneity of individual laborers have different regulating effects on the influence of urban inclusiveness on individual entrepreneurial choice.The findings offer important inspirations for policy making in reforming the Chinese urban systems and promoting migrants’entrepreneurship.

The increase of micro and nano devices has led to the miniaturization and multi-functionalization of micro-mechanical, communication, imaging, sensing, chemical analytical and biomedical devices. The devices so mentioned above need power sources that are portable, have short charging time, longevity, high energy density and are environmentally friendly. Chemical batteries hitherto used to be the major power source for these devices but have a drawback of having low energy density. The energy density of the most improved lithium-ion battery was in the region of 0.2 kWh/kg. Micro-combustor is one of the most important components of the micro thermophotovoltaic (MTPV) conversion device. This work used numerical simulation to investigate the effect of Micro pin fin arrays on combustion. Using a micro combustor with micro pin-fin arrays inserted, it was observed the fins widened the region of combustion and extended the blow-off limit in the combustor. The fins exerted great influence on combustion as flow rate increased and thus improved the temperature distribution of the wall. The combustor with fins possessed higher heat flux in comparison with combustor without fins. There was combustion stability at inlet velocity of 4 m/s making the micro pin-fin array configuration ideal for MTPV application. The results obtained will be useful in designing a MTPV.

In modern society,the competition has become increasingly fierce.Organizations pay close attention to their manage ment in order to gain the priority.Under this context,entrepreneurship has been attached great importance to.entrepreneurship has played an indispensable role in organizations.Compare to those short-lived companies,powerful organizations,such as Google,IBM and P&G has gain great progress in the last decades.Therefore,it is essential to study how the powerful organiza tion could always be innovative.This paper aims to study the role that entrepreneurship plays in the organizations and take Google as an example.It provides some previous lessons that Chinese organizations could draw from.

By investigating the problem of farmers’ entrepreneurship in Gongcheng Yaozu Autonomous County,lying in Guilin,Guangxi,the thesis expounds the existing problems impacting farmers’ successful entrepreneurship in minority areas as follows:firstly,the musty idea of local cadre is obstacle to farmers’ successful entrepreneurship;secondly,the problems of scattered farmers’ entrepreneurship resources,waste and shortage of resources impact good effect of entrepreneurship;thirdly,farmers lack awareness of characteristics and brand,influencing the market competitiveness of products;fourthly,the existence of smallholder consciousness critically hampers the marketization and internationalization of entrepreneurship accomplishments;fifthly,the government pays no attention to the construction of industrial chain,which makes farmers’ entrepreneurship lack sustainability.Based on these,corresponding countermeasures are put forward to promote farmers’ successful entrepreneurship in minority areas as follows:firstly,we should update local leaders’ ideas and emphasize the positive role of farmers’ successful entrepreneurship in county economic development;secondly,we should integrate local entrepreneurship resources and promote the efficiency of farmers’ entrepreneurship;thirdly,we should foster the consciousness of brand and characteristics and strengthen the market competitiveness of entrepreneurship accomplishments;fourthly,we should strengthen the construction of industrial chain to promote sustainable development of farmers’ entrepreneurship.

Bloom’s taxonomy is widely used in educational research to categorize the cognitive skills required to answer exam questions.For this study,we analyzed how students categorize exam questions(high-level question or low-level question,)gathered data as to their rationale for categorization,and compared their categorizations to those of experts.We found that students consistently rank high-level questions incorrectly.We analyzed student reasons for their categorizations,and found that for many of the incorrectly categorized questions the students referred to reasons related to Cognitive Load Theory.This shows that cognitive load prevents students from accurately assessing the cognitive level of an exam question.Thus,extra cognitive load in exam questions may prevent those questions from accurately measuring the skills and knowledge of the student.This points to the need for instructors to eliminate cognitive load from their exams.

This paper focuses on a common problem for entrepreneurs and investors:the uncertainty around the actual tax rate,which is the percent of net income that a corporation pays in taxes.This uncertainty results from a difference(i.e.,a gap)between the statutory and the effective tax rate,which is the actual tax rate.This gap results from the legal framework which provides that certain types of incomes and expenses are not considered income.This gap causes significant uncertainty and may hinder entrepreneurship.This paper studies this gap in seven OECD countries(Austria,Canada,France,Germany,Italy,UK,and USA)and Brazil.We selected the 10 top-listed companies of each country and calculated the gaps for the period 2016-2019.Our findings proved that these gaps are unstable and may differ between companies of the same country and between countries.In addition,gaps of specific companies may change over time.The key outcome of this paper is the proposal of a new derivative tax rate swap.Using this derivative,governments will be able to eliminate the gap of specific companies,attract new investment,and increase entrepreneurship.

This paper examines the impact of Internet technology on emerging businesses and its contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in Greece.It emphasizes the importance of start-ups in the business ecosystem and the creation of favorable conditions for the development of innovative business ideas.In addition,a theoretical approach of basic concepts of the ecosystem of the startups is carried out which,in combination with the quantitative research that follows,attempts to answer the question whether the development of Internet technology affects entrepreneurship in Greece currently and in the future.

Based on the overview of concept of returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship,the thesis has introduced the features of migrant workers' entrepreneurship,as against other types of entrepreneurship,as follows. Starting from a low base and multi-level perspective;conducting entrepreneurship in manifold industries,mainly in those labor-intensive enterprises;conspicuous mutual interaction and reversibility are embodied in the group characteristics;the strong driving force of returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship comes from their affection for hometown. The process of returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship can be divided into three stages,namely returning rush,investing rush,and entrepreneurship rush,on which we give the analysis respectively in terms of the continuous change of social mobility,transformation on the part of the main body of entrepreneurship,and the expansion of industry field concerning entrepreneurship. More over,we have discussed the methods of constructing the legal support system for the returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship. Firstly,it needs institutionalization,which is the basis of constructing the legal support system for the returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship;secondly,it needs definite guiding ideology as the premise of constructing the legal support system for the returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship;thirdly,it needs the precise orientation of target group as the key of constructing the legal support system for the returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship;finally,appropriate support methods are the pivot of constructing the legal support system for the returning-home migrant workers' entrepreneurship.
