The Effect of Digital Transformation and Supply Chain Integration on Enterprise Performance:The Moderating Role of entrepreneurship

Digital transformation provides companies with a productive approach to transforming and upgrading enterprise resources and capabilities and to exploiting external subject forces to unleash and magnify their potential,thus advancing high-quality enterprise development.Therefore,using regression analysis of the data of China’s non-financial listed firms from 2007‒2019 obtained by Python,this paper finds that digital transformation has enormously improved enterprise performance.Furthermore,digital transformation has powerfully boosted supply chain integration,which has played a mediation role in the impact of digital transformation on enterprise performance.Finally,entrepreneurship plays a positive moderating effect on enterprise performance through supply chain integration during digital transformation.The further heterogeneity analysis finds that digital transformation performs better in large,public,state-owned,mature,and non-manufacturing(service industry)enterprises.However,the positive effect of digital transformation on enterprise performance and supply chain integration is not significant in small and medium-sized enterprises.Therefore,supply chain integration cannot play a mediating role in the impact of digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises upon their performance.This paper probes the realization mechanism and micro-foundation of digital transformation,and its conclusion contributes to high-quality digital transformation.

To explore the mechanism of entry to the self-employed sector in urban China,this study tested two hypotheses:the entrepreneurship hypothesis and the disguised unemployment hypothesis,investigating the impact of mass entrepreneurship and innovation policies on business start-ups.Three main findings emerged.First,the entrepreneurship hypothesis was rejected for both local urban residents and migrants in 2013 but was supported for both groups in 2018.Second,the causality relationship between mass entrepreneurship and innovation policies and business starts-ups was not significant.Third,the results differed by group.The entrepreneurship hypothesis was supported for the younger generation of migrants in 2018 but was clearly rejected for the less educated,both in the local urban resident and migrant groups in 2013 and 2018.Robustness checks confirmed these conclusions.

entrepreneurship,a critical source of economic development,requires cultivation to carry it forward.From the perspective of culture,which is the root of thought and attitude,this paper lists the successful entrepreneurs both from China and other countries whose management practices have been influenced by Lao-Tzu’s philosophy of management,discusses the convergence of that philosophy with entrepreneurship,and highlights the decisive influence of entrepreneurial mindset.It also explores the cultural pathway to cultivation of entrepreneurship,that is,it addresses the shaping of world outlook of“the unity of humanity and nature”(天人合一)and“something and nothing creating each other”(有无相生).The paper considers the life outlook of“taking hearts as my own,selflessness defines me”(以百姓心为心,无私成其私),the value of“respecting and valuing morality”(尊道贵德)and“staying free from arbitrariness”(自然无为).Following the requirements of the times and regional cultural characteristics,this paper refines the entrepreneurship structure model at four levels:mission-driven responsibility mindset,awe-inspiring arbitrariness-free mindset,symbiotic and win-win altruism mindset and progressive mindset.The objective is to help to promote the creative transformation of contemporary values of traditional culture.

Based on data obtained from the Survey of Industrial Firms in China,the Chinese General Social Survey and prefecture-level city data,this paper explores whether entrepreneurship will promote productivity growth in China.The research also examines whether entrepreneurship acts as a transmission mechanism affecting productivity through market competition,knowledge spillover and factor structure.Our empirical results reveal a relatively significant U-shaped relationship between entrepreneurship and productivity and confirm the existence of a transmission mechanism of entrepreneurship.Among the three effects,the market competition effect is the most significant,followed by knowledge spillover and factor structure effects.An entrepreneurial heterogeneity test reveals that there is no significant difference between the effect of necessity entrepreneurship and overall entrepreneurship on productivity.However,a positive correlation is found between opportunistic entrepreneurship and productivity.Therefore,entrepreneurship plays a unique role in promoting economic growth in China.

The entrepreneurship has positive and significant connection with economic growth.Competition would be increased by new entrants in the market;then,social welfare would be improved.Thus,positive entrepreneurship policies are often linked to increased social welfare by authorities.In this paper,we focus on a certain case where potential entrepreneurs are employees of existing firms to test the above ideas.The purpose of our research is to assess the variation of social welfare in the context of employer-restricted separation.Therefore,the model of Cournot competition where employees constitute the only entry threat was used in this paper.The results demonstrate that social welfare would not always be improved even in a good entrepreneurial context.If the deterring strategy is present,the relationship between positive entrepreneurship policies and increased social welfare might not hold,or would depend on the different strategies adopted by the incumbent.Therefore,the sustainability of a positive entrepreneurship policy would be impaired by incumbent firms.

With the progressive reforms of China’s household registration system,China has unleashed its demographic dividends over the time and promoted the economic growth.Guided by the new vision of development,urban inclusiveness,especially the urban inclusiveness to the migrant population,will become a force for driving economic growth.Using the 2016 China Migrants Dynamic Survey(CMDS)dataset,we measure urban inclusiveness with the level of migrants’access to same public services and social security as local residents and explore the effects of urban inclusiveness on migrants’entrepreneurship.The results show that urban inclusiveness encourages migrants to start businesses and has a positive effect on the level of entrepreneurship.The urban environmental conditions and heterogeneity of individual laborers have different regulating effects on the influence of urban inclusiveness on individual entrepreneurial choice.The findings offer important inspirations for policy making in reforming the Chinese urban systems and promoting migrants’entrepreneurship.

The paper discusses the effects of the digital economy on highquality urban development and its mechanism.Theoretically,the digital economy can empower high-quality development by boosting entrepreneurial vitality.Empirically,the paper measures the overall level of the digital economy and high-quality development of the 222 Chinese cities at and above the prefecture level during 2011-2016,depicts the entrepreneurial vitality of the cities with the microscopic data of the business registration information and makes quantitative analysis on this basis.The result shows:Digital economy has remarkably improved high-quality development and this conclusion still exists after the robustness test selecting historical data as the instrumental variables and the Broadband China pilot policy as the quasi experiment.The analysis of the mechanism of action indicates that encouraging public entrepreneurship is an important mechanism of the digital economy to release the dividend of highquality development.Finally,thanks to the threshold model and the spatial model,it is found that the positive effect of the digital economy has the characteristics of nonlinear increment and spatial spillover of the“marginal effects.”The research of the paper stimulates the reasons for high-quality development and the understanding of the effects,mechanisms and regional differences of high-quality development empowered by the digital economy.

The reason why Innovation and entrepreneurship have become extremely important understanding,and those are global phenomena nowadays.Innovation and entrepreneurship education then plays an important role as make innovate and entrepreneur.This comparative study aimed to identify the difference and the same side between China and Mongolia in the scope of innovation and entrepreneurship education.More focused on both counties'higher education,especially compare both countries universities innovation and entrepreneurship education,which their course,curriculum,teachers,activities.　　This research followed a mixed methodology.The qualitative method is a research method for data collecting,sorting,questionnaire,and analyzing documents to find out the essence of things.The quantitative method is a research method with a questionnaire,used to run the statistical analysis.　　The scope of this study is based on Chinese and Mongolian education policy measures taken for innovation and entrepreneurship education.At the same time sampling of questionnaire120students on the university from China and Mongolia.The finding indicates that though there is a difference between innovation and entrepreneurship education in China and Mongolia,in both counties higher education.　　There is a lack of innovation and entrepreneurship education system in Mongolian higher education,is mainly because a given subject does not seem to exist.This research is important to identify what is the difference between innovation and entrepreneurship education in both counties'higher education sectors and find a way to developing that given subject.

Promoting Private entrepreneurship for Deepening Market Reform in China： A Resource Allocation Perspective

After more than three decades of rapid growth, China＇s economy is going through an important turning point, where structural imbalances in both supply and demand sides must be addressed for a more moderate and sustainable growth path. By focusing on the structural changes to its ownership, a central element in China＇s economic transformation under market reform, the present paper highlights the importance of private entrepreneurship in deepening market reform and, thereby, in driving economic growth in a more efficient and sustainable way. Based on a perspective of resource allocation and a conceptual framework of entrepreneurship, the paper elaborates on the evolution of the private sector and its performance in the context of ownership reform, making comparisons with the performance of the state sector. The analysis suggests that there is further room for more productive use of economic resources, especially capital, land and natural resources, by increasing the participation of private entrepreneurs in industries with high entry barriers in favor of state-owned enterprises. Moreover, more competitive and equal access to productive resources through reform is needed to promote more productive entrepreneurship and to reduce rent-seeking activities.
