Investigating mesoscopic circuits with entangled state representations

By employing the continuous parameter entangled state representations, we investigate the energy level and the wave function for a capacitively and mutual-inductively coupled LC mesoscopic circuit. It is found that investigating the meso- scopic circuit in such representations can bring us the following conveniences. Firstly, the dynamical equation is naturally transformed into a single-variable differential equation. Second/y, the center-of-mass kinetic energy is included in the energy level of the system. Thus it is instructive to introduce the entangled state representation into the investigation of mesoscopic circuits.

Using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we construct a generalized two-mode entangled state, which can be generated by an asymmetrical beam splitter （BS）. Some important properties of this state, such as orthogonality and Schmidt decomposition, are also dis- cussed by deriving the expression of BS operator in coordinate representation. As its applications, to conjugate state, obtain operator identities, generate new squeezing operators （squeezed state） are also presented. It is shown that the fidelity of quantum teleportation can be enhanced under certain case by using the asymmetrical new squeezed state as entangled resource.

This paper proposes a scheme for teleporting a two-atom entangled state using leaky cavities. It uses resonant atom-cavity interaction to map the atomic state onto the cavity field. Then it utilizes the interference of polarized photons to establish the correlation between the distant sender and receiver. The advantage of the scheme is that the fidelity is independent of the cavity decay rate, atomic decay and detection efficiency.

In this paper, we propose a scheme for transferring an unknown atomic entangled state via cavity quantum electrodynamics （QED）. This scheme, which has a successful probability of 100 percent, does not require Bell-state measurement and performing any operations to reconstruct an initial state. Meanwhile, the scheme only involves atomfield interaction with a large detuning and does not require the transfer of quantum information between the atoms and cavity. Thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. This scheme can also be extended to transfer ring an entangled state of n-atom.

We propose a scheme to teleport an arbitrary unknown two-particle state by a non-maximally three-particle entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state and a non-maximally two-particle entangled state from a sender to either one of two receivers. We probabilistically teleport the arbitrary unknown two-particle state by performing two Bell-state measurements on the sender's side, introducing two appropriate unitary transformations on the receiver's side conditioned on a Hadamard operation and a projection measurement on the other possible receiver's side.

This paper proposes a scheme where entanglement swapping between atom and cavity can be realized. A-type three-level atoms interacting resonantly with cavity field are considered. By detecting atom and cavity field, it realizes entanglement swapping between atom and cavity. It uses the technique of entanglement swapping to generate an entangled state of two cavity fields by measuring on atoms. It discusses the experimental feasibility of the proposed scheme and application of entangled state of cavity fields.

composed of the common eigenvectors of operators (x1 +p2) and (p1 + x2) is established. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors resentation. We find that the second-quantization representation can be used to derive the normally ordered product expression of eigenvector in Fock space. In particular, we find that the ground state of the Hamiltonian is a kind of generalized two-mode squeezed state.
