Five new-type Fc receptor molecules were constructed based on streptococcal protein G (SpG) and staphylococcal protein A (SpA). These protein molecules contain one to six Fc binding domains to immunoglobulins which are structurally different from native SpG or SpA. Their expression levels reached 17-30% of the total bacterial proteins after heat induction in E. colt. Immunodiffusion and ELISA results showed that the engineered protein TG (184 amino acid residues) composed of three SpG C3 domain could bind more broadly and efficiently than the native SpG to the IgGs of human, goat, rabbit, etc. , and its optimal pH for binding became wider (pH5-8) compared with the SpG (pH5) ; and the protein TGA (357AA), fused by protein TG and the A, B, C domains of SpA, displayed both the binding pattern of SpG and SpA.

The mechanical properties,such as hardness and modulus of elasticity of coatings and the part of thin walls of Ni-based and Co-based alloy prepared by LENS were measured by nanoindentation testing,scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy were used to analyze their microstructure,the affect of parameters on structure and mechanical properties were *** results showed that the mechanical properties were basically identical with the whole coating;the hardness and modulus of elasticity of nanoindentation were evenly distributed in the defect *** average hardness and modulus of elasticity of coating of Ni-based alloy are 8.29GPa and *** average hardness and modulus of elasticity of coating of Co-based alloy are 7.08GPa and *** modulus of elasticity of part of thin walls has relationship with the grain orientation.

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Recent advances in cellular therapy have demonstrated that this platform has the potential to give patients with certain cancers a second chance at life. Unlike chemical compounds and proteins, cells are living, self-replicating drugs that can be engineered to possess exquisite specificity. For example, T cells can be genetically modified to express chimeric antigen receptors (CARs), endowing them with the capacity to recognize and kill tumor cells and form a memory pool that is ready to strike back against persisting malignant cells. Anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T cells (CART19s) have demonstrated a remarkable degree of clinical efficacy for certain malignancies. The process of developing CART19 essentially follows the conventional “one gene, one drug, one disease” paradigm derived from Paul Ehrlich’s “magic bullet” concept. With major players within the pharmaceutical industry joining forces to commercialize this new category of “living drugs,” it is useful to use CART19 as an example to examine the similarities and differences in its development, compared with that of a conventional drug. In this way, we can assimilate existing knowledge and identify the most effective approach for advancing similar strategies. This article reviews the use of biomarker-based assays to guide the optimization of CAR constructs, preclinical studies, and the evaluation of clinical efficacy;adverse effects (AEs);and CART19 cellular kinetics. Advanced technologies and computational tools that enable the discovery of optimal targets, novel CAR binding domains, and biomarkers predicting clinical response and AEs are also discussed. We believe that the success of CART19 will lead to the development of other engineered T cell therapies in the same manner that the discovery of arsphenamine initiated the era of synthetic pharmaceuticals.

engineered Biofluids are paving the way to industrialized and specifically produced and tailored functional fluids such as coolant and dielectric, high purity traceable media, for the electrical and electronic industries. Dielectric fluid compositions are commonly used in electrical devices, particularly in transformers. These liquids have the aim to isolate the various conductive elements of the device and to limit the heating of the equipment during its operation;in order to minimize, or maintain at higher power, the size of the device and to increase the lifespan of it. Concomitantly a number of bio and traditional processing advancements are made associated with pioneering process technologies which are outlined within the prime context of this paper. Enzyme Engineering and Cocktailing add “A New Dimension to Softer Greener Chem-Bio Approaches” which are referenced beyond curiosity purpose. Some of them are possibly “revolutionary” more than evolutionary. Testing has to evolve accordingly to appreciate the challenges ahead in semi-extreme conditions which are relevant to climate changes as well. A significant part of this orientation work addresses and exemplifies these necessary testing innovations, likely adaptable to smart and responsive connecting, and further down the line bigger data role and learning machine evolutionary concepts. One other innovative part of this exploratory work, is the influence that such illustrative localized testing, with integrated sensors/induced-tracers, and online interpretation, may have on the smart grid developments;whereby production, transmission, distribution and consumption of energy can be made more reliable, more effective and more predictive and can also have an impact on the performance, reliability and sustainability of the equipment itself. engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) is a cement based material with ultra-high ductility and strength in tension. This material is a kind of highperformance fiber-reinforced cementitious composite materials (HPFRCCs) reinforced with short fibers and characterized by tight multiple cracking. These characteristics of ECC make it applicable to increase the capacity and the ductility of structural elements so that structural design is economic and sustainable. This paper presents an extended evaluation of Improved engineered Cementitious Composites (IECC) for the use in the strengthening of masonry in filled reinforced concrete frames. IECC is a mixture of cement, fly ash, water, sand, quartz powder and poly-vinyl alcohol fibers with a better quality of tensile strain rather than common ECC. Two types of fine sand and quartz powder used in this study as filler to improve ECC behavior. Also, to show the effect of fly ash on IECC properties, five different mixtures were considered with various fly ash ratios. Different mixtures of IECC using fine aggregates produced in Iran were selected to find out how the aggregates and fly ash would affect IECC performance. The results show that the optimized mixture has the best characteristics including tensile strength and strain. Also, three-dimensional diagrams were used to compare the properties of different mixtures of IECC more effectively and to represent the influence of the range of fly ash ratios so that it can be opted based on design objectives such as ECC properties, costs and structural parameters and demands. These diagrams show the behavior of IECC which its fly ash content ratio in the binder is 50% to 67%.

With the development of dyeing wastewater treatment biotechnology, the advantages of bioaugmentation bacteria gradually catch people’s eyes. Therefore, its construction and application research has also attracted the attention of the majority of scholars. This article summaries the construction and application of bioaugmentation engineered bacteria used to treat dyeing wastewater in recent years, including the screening, domestication and application of single and mixed flora bacteria. In addition, the impact of the strengthening effect of all genes is also described in this paper. Finally, the optimization and promoted use of bioaugmentation bacteria are out looked.
