This paper proposes a high-order sliding-mode control method for grid-connected converter of an induction motor （IM） system, implementing the regenerative energy feedback with high quality and achieving the energy-saving operation of an IM system. A nonsingular terminal sliding-mode manifold is designed for the two current controllers and the related control strategies are applied to stabilize the whole motor system. The designed high-order sliding-mode control laws guarantee the strong robustness of the motor system. In addition, the chattering phenomenon in the sliding-mode control based motor system is eliminated effectively. The simulation results validate the proposed method.

Since there are differences in the content of the regulations in each country, so the correspondence on air conditioners in a specific country is different from others. Complying with these regulations, specification conversion as well as how to control cost increase has been discussed.

＜正＞Subway escalators always run without load or with light load.A new kind of energy saving running operation is proposed in this paper.One-week running curve as the reference speed of drive motor is obtained according to the past statistic data of passenger volume.In order to make the most use of the advantages of frequency conversation and energy feedback,Common-DC-bus is introduced to design the energy saving control system in escalator.The analysis shows that the maximum energy can be saved when one-week running curve and common-DC-bus are adopted in escalator.

Distillation is one of the most important and widely used separation technology in the chemical industry.However,the major obstacle in distillation at present is high energy consumption.For pressure-swing distillation,energy consumption is also a key criterion for judging whether the pressure-swing distillation is better than other distillation methods.This paper proposed a new process in pressure-swing distillation to reduce energy consumption and total annual cost.In this process,the total condenser in high-pressure column is replaced by partial condenser.The partial overhead vapor of the high-pressure column enters the low-pressure column without condensation.The main difference between the new alternative process and conventional pressure-swing distillation is that the liquid feed in low-pressure column is replaced by the hot distillate vapor stream.The high-pressure column originally operates at a higher pressure,so the vaporized feed is maintained at higher temperature.In this work,the proposed design of pressure-swing distillation was applied to ethyl acetate/ethanol system.According to our analysis,the proposed pressure-swing distillation scheme saves 16.42 % on energy,for total annual cost savings 10.44 %.Moreover,a partial heat-integrated pressure-swing distillation with a vapor connection can save 10.52 % on energy and 5.02 % on the total annual cost compared with a concentional partial heat-integrated pressure-swing distillation.It is proven that the new pressure-swing distillation with a vapor connection using heat integration leads to a significant improvement in energy efficiency with reducing the reboiler and condenser duties.The pressure-swing distillation with vapor connection process is of significance to reduce energy consumption and expand the application of pressure swing distillation,and help to improve energy efficiency in chemical process industry.

With the continuous development of communication networks and the national slogan of "energy saving and emission reduction",communication enterprises are actively working on ways of saving energy and reducing emission.This paper briefly introduces and studies the role of Centralized Power Equipment and Environment Monitoring System in communication networks,also summarizes the characterized functions and application situation of the system.This paper focuses on the analysis of the development of air- conditioning and switch power equipment for energy saving and emission reduction in the system,some directions of improving the performance of the equipments are also pointed out.At last,the trend of from Centralized Power Equipment and Environment Monitoring System to Integrated Computer Information Platform is also discussed in this paper.

Experimental Study on the Thermal Performances of a Tube-Type Indirect Evaporative Cooler

The so-called indirect evaporative cooling technology is widely used in air conditioning applications.The thermal characterization of tube-type indirect evaporative coolers,however,still presents challenges which need to be addressed to make this technology more reliable and easy to implement.This experimental study deals with the performances of a tube-type indirect evaporative cooler based on an aluminum tube with a 10 mm diameter.In particular,the required tests were carried out considering a range of dry-bulb temperatures between 16℃ and 18℃ and a temperature difference between the wet-bulb and dry-bulb temperature of 2℃∼4℃.The integrated convective heat transfer coefficient inside the tube in the drenching condition has been found to lie in the range between 36.10 and 437.4(W/(m^(2)⋅K)).

In this paper,a numerical study is carried out to investigate the performance of a coupled BIPV/T-AHU system in Sudan.A mathematical model was utilzed,Matab Simulink was used to do simul ation.Results showed good agreement with experimental data from the literature.The problem studied in this paper is reducing the energy required for heating in winter(preheating BIPV/T)and avoiding the high photovoltaic cell temperature in summer.We compare the energy consumption with and without BIPV/T-AHU in different cities in Sudan.The results showed that utilizing the exhaust air to cool the photovoltaic cell could reduce the PV/T cell temperature in the range(9-12)℃,which can increase the eletrical power output in a range of(12-21.44)W/m^(2).In winter,utilization of the preheating BIPV/T system can decrease the heating load in Wadi Halfa in the range of(6-107.1%).Damazein does not need a high heating power in the daytime for the ait conditioning system depending on the local climate,so the heat energy produced by the system can be used for drying,desiccant cooling,or heating water,with increasing the eletrice power produced by cooling PV/T cells.The results indicated a great posibility to use the BIPV 1 T system under the studied conditions,in addition,this study provides important information for the application of the BIPV/T system in these areas.

Base Station energy Management in 5G Networks Using Wide Range Control Optimization

The traffic activity offifth generation(5G)networks demand for new energy management techniques that is dynamic deep and longer duration of sleep as compared to the fourth generation(4G)network technologies that demand always for varied control and data signalling based on control base station(CBS)and data base station(DBS).Hence,this paper discusses the energy management in wireless cellular networks using wide range of control for twice the reduction in energy conservation in non-standalone deployment of 5G network.As the new radio(NR)based 5G network is configured to transmit signal blocks for every 20 ms,the proposed algorithm implements withstanding capacity of on or off based energy switching,which in-turn operates in wide range control by carrying out reduced computational complexity.The proposed Wide range of control for base station in green cellular network using sleep mode for switch(WGCNS)algorithm toon and off the base station will work in heavy load with neighbouring base station.For reducing the overhead duration in air,heuristic versions of the algorithm are proposed at the base station.The algorithm operates based on the specification with suggested protocol-level to give best amount of energy savings.The proposed algorithm reduces 40%to 83%of residual energy based on the traffic pattern of the urban scenario.
