An energy-saving Control Strategy on Central Air-Conditioning System

An energy-saving control strategy based on predictive control for central air-conditioning systems is proposed in this paper. The cold load model is developed to describe the dynamic characteristics of temperature control systems, and then parameters in the cold load model and in the central air-conditioning system model are estimated. Generalized predictive control (GPC) is used to establish an optimization model to minimize the consumption of energy and the control error of temperature. The simulated annealing (SA) algorithm, combined with quadratic programming, is adopted to solve the optimal problem. Contrasted with the simulation of traditional PID control, the results prove the effectiveness of this proposed strategy.

The study on an advanced equipment of a new pumping unit is presented to satisfy the mining technology demands of large load,long stroke and low pumping speed during petroleum exploitation process.The method of using a full hydraulic system drive rather than the traditional way is adopted to overcome the disadvantages in a traditional oil production equipment such as complex mechanical structure,large volume,many transmissions,low efficiency and high manufacturing cost.In addition,the hydraulic circuit which is made up of an accumulator,a hydraulic motor and two hydraulic pumps is used to realize power recovery for energy saving.The mechanical mathematical model and the hydraulic one of a novel hydraulic oil production mechanism were established and analyzed.Good results are eventually obtained.This equipment has been the national patent.

This paper examines the relationship between the number and energy consumption of devices in the course video construction system,the relations between the functions and power consumption of the devices,the mode of pioneering traditional construction,and the energy consumption of recording and broadcasting systems.It also presents a scheme for constructing course video resource systems by defining the functional requirements on the basis of the purpose that the systems are intended to serve.Moreover,this paper proposes identifying energy-saving measures in the functional setting of constructed systems.An integrated energy-saving course video resource construction system has been developed（a Chinese patent,No.ZL 2011 2 0015694.8,has been obtained）,and data are used to illustrate the energy-saving results of the integrated energy-saving video resource construction system in comparison with existing systems.On this basis,further energy-saving measures are recommended to the integrated system.Such measures include the energy-saving techniques of activating the monitor from the standby mode upon touching the handle,monitoring traffic in the hard disk recorder,and using an energy-saving management chip to improve the working efficiency of the switch power supply.

Aiming at the disadvantage of existing high precision water-cooling unit （HPWCU） that features too much power consumption,a sort of such equipment with low energy expense,fast modulation and good stabilization was development in this paper.The traditional manner that keeping the chilled water temperature steady through an affixed tunable heat component was replaced by adjusting the frequency convertor that driving the refrigeration compressor so that the power consumption of HPWCU could be reduced from the point of view of both system configuration and real-world operation.An advanced control technology of predicting the initial value for PID algorithm shortened the transient time for temperature control,which cut down the waiting time of high precision experiment using proposed HPWCU.The enhancement of operation efficiency and the decrease of energy consumption happened simultaneous.Compared to existing HPWCUs,their counterpart in this paper can save power consumption for 63% and indicates greater potential in energy saving when working with other devices cooperatively.

In order to gain a deep understanding of the comprehensive benefits of prefabricated building energy efficiency.From the three aspects of economic benefit,environmental benefit and social benefit,the Delphi method was used to screen out 12 indicators.A comprehensive evaluation system for energy efficiency of fabricated buildings was constructed,and the comprehensive benefits of various energy saving measures were evaluated by TOPSIS entropy weight model.The results show that the energy efficiency of energy system and equipment efficiency,passive design energy conservation and the balance of building energy consumption through the use of renewable energy systems and the replacement of energy-saving three energy-saving measures can promote the improvement of comprehensive benefits.The benefits of energy efficiency and energy efficiency through energy systems and equipment are most pronounced.Finally,the scientific and effective evaluation of comprehensive benefits evaluation indicators and evaluation methods was verified by examples.

In Hangzhou,one of the key measures of building energy efficiency design is to improve the thermal performance of the building envelope wall.Based on the research of the use conditions and the thermal performance of the commonly used energy-saving wall materials in this region,the database of energy-saving building wall’s thermal performance was constructed into two parts:Fundamental Database and Core Database.Then taken Core Database as an example,the methods of data collating、using of the database and maintenance of the data are explored.

为了解决传统液压挖掘机能耗高、排放大、调速性能差的问题，提出了一种基于双变动力源系统效率最优的排量自适应控制策略，以实现整机的流量匹配。该挖掘机由纯电机驱动，发挥了电机调速性能好、响应快、过载能力强的优点。本文介绍了其基本结构和工作原理，分析了整机的控制过程。通过搭建3种不同驱动方式的AMESim-MATLAB联合仿真模型，验证了该控制策略的可控性和节能性。研究结果表明，所提出的控制策略相比柴油机驱动和定速电机驱动，分别节约成本约64%和33%。

To improve the energy saving performance of the electro-hydraulic servo system on the premise of guaranteeing the control performance, a kind of energy saving control method of high voltage AC servo motor driven quantitative pump was proposed. Firstly, a theoretical model of the servo motor and the quantitative pump was established. Then, energy saving controller containing two variables was proposed. The relief valve controller was designed based on extended state observer for observing the unknown disturbance force. And the servo motor controller was designed based on adaptive prediction method for predicting load displacement. The supply pressure and the supply flow could be reduced using these two sub controllers to save energy. Finally, comparative simulation was implemented to verify the energy saving performance of the method proposed.

＜正＞In this study,user preference on compact fluorescent lamps（CFLs）is determined within the pilot project that was implemented in Istanbul Terasevler Housing Estate with the aim of determining of electrical energy saving by using CFLs in the residences.The pilot project was lasted for 15 months in 105 residences.Three different surveys had done in three different period of the pilot project to determine the residents’ preference on CFL usage. As CFLs are acceptable lighting solutions in the residences,residents’ desire is an important parameter for the usage of them.According to the residents’ desire on lamp replacement,it can be said that lamps replacement is mostly occurred in three or four different light points like kitchens,holes-entrances and bathrooms.As the color preference of the users is determined,cool daylight colored lamps are mostly preferred in kitchens and bathrooms and warm white colored are preferred mostly in holes and entrances.As a result,it is determined that 9% of residential electrical energy can be saved by using four CFLs in the lighting points where the residents preferred to replace incandescent lamps.

Broadband light management in hydrogel glass for energy efficient windows

Windows are critically important components in building envelopes that have a signifcant efect on the integral energy budget.For energy saving,here we propose a novel design of hydrogel-glass which consists of a layer of hydrogel and a layer of normal glass.Compared with traditional glass,the hydrogel-glass possesses a higher level of visible light transmission,stronger near-infrared light blocking,and higher mid-infrared thermal emittance.With these properties,hydrogel-glass based windows can enhance indoor illumination and reduce the temperature,reducing energy use for both lighting and cooling.energy savings ranging from 2.37 to 10.45 MJ/m2 per year can be achieved for typical school buildings located in diferent cities around the world according to our simulations.With broadband light management covering the visible and thermal infrared regions of the spectrum,hydrogel-glass shows great potential for application in energy-saving windows.
