In this article,we study the exhaustive analysis of nonlinear wave interactions for a 2×2 homogeneous system of quasilinear hyperbolic partial differential equations(PDEs)governing the macroscopic *** use the hodograph transformation and differential constraints technique to obtain the exact solution of governing ***,we study the interaction between simple waves in detail through exact solution of general initial value ***,we discuss the all possible interaction of elementary waves using the solution of Riemann problem.

In this paper,the Riemann solutions of a reduced 6×6 blood flow model in mediumsized to large vessels are *** model is nonstrictly hyperbolic and non-conservative in nature,which brings two difficulties of the Riemann *** is the appearance of resonance while the other one is loss of *** elementary waves include shock wave,rarefaction wave,contact discontinuity and stationary *** stationary wave is obtained by solving a steady *** construct the Riemann solutions especially when the steady equation has no solution for supersonic initial *** also verify that the global entropy condition proposed by *** can be used here to select the physical relevant *** Riemann solutions may contribute to the design of numerical schemes,which can apply to the complex blood flows.
