Effect of electrostatic Reduced Gravity Environment on the Crystallographic Parameters of Melt Crystallized Polypropylene

An electrostatic reduced gravity device was developed and used specially for the study of the melt crystallization of polypropylene. The crystal structure of melt crystallized polypropylene prepared under the reduced gravity environment was investigated by using X ray diffraction. The experiment results show that the crystal structure of the polypropylene is strongly dependent on the gravity applied to the sample during solidification. It is found that the crystallographic parameters a and b increase markedly with reduced gravity ratio, while the value of c increases mildly.

It is known that there is a force of repulsion (or attraction) between two similar (or dissimilar) charges and the laws governing these forces are well established in electrostatics. However, the exact mechanism and the origin for these forces are not known. The purpose of this investigation, therefore, is to reveal these aspects in the light of the presence of vibrating strings and lines of fields created by the negative (or positive) charge. The present approach strongly suggests that the force of repulsion is originated between two charges due to fields synchronized with vibrating strings. The Gauss symmetry seems to play a crucial role in these aspects.

The project of design and build of an electrostatic spectrum motion control system for Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology started in 2016 and the major offline test work was finished in *** structure of this electrostatic spectrum is similar with the electrostatic spectrum used in CSR and HIMM *** has 2 moving part,an anode frame and a high voltage *** moving part is driven by 2 *** these 4 motors,the controll devices also include 8 limit switches and 4 resistance *** 8 limit switches are used to define the travel limit position of the moving part and the 4 resistance rulers are used to get the voltage values which are correspond with the relative position of each moving *** control precision of this system is 0.1 mm.

We firstly introduce existing situations of development of electrostatic spraying technology both at home and abroad. On the basis of such problems as serious drift, loss and deterioration of environment during orchard spraying in Xinjiang, we design and develop a new electrostatic sprayer which can effectively reduce the pesticide, improve the adhesion rate of pesticide in the target, and reduce pollution on human body and environment. Using electrostatic induction principle, this electrostatic sprayer directly sprays charged droplet onto target in the action of electrostatic force and high speed air flow. Besides, this sprayer has outstanding economic and social benefits. For farmers, it can raise the utilization ratio of pesticide to 60%, reduce the pesticide loss by 50%, and reduce prevention cost for 10% to 20%; for enterprises, this investment project has a trial profit-tax rate up to 21.4%; the entire sprayer only needs one person to operate; it is highly efficient and low pollution, conforming to national environmental protection and policy concerning agriculture, farmers and countryside. Therefore, this new pneumatic electrostatic sprayer in orchard will have bright popularization and application prospect.

Recent interest in problems in higher space di mensions is becoming increasingly important and attracted the attention of many investigators in variety of fields in physics. In this paper, the electrostatic energy of two geometries (a charged spherical shell and a nonconducting sphere) is calculated in higher space dimension, N. It is shown that as the space dimension increases, up to N = 9, the electrostatic energy of the two geometries decreases and beyond N = 9 it increases. Furthermore, we discuss a simple example which illustrates classical renormalization in electrostatics in higher dimensions.

The SFC extraction electrostatic deflection plate is located inside the SFC chamber and it is responsible for theSFC beam extraction. Before the SFC-ES position monitoring system was build, the actual position of the cuttingpole and the high voltage cathode pole cannot be "seen" for beam tuning stuff. So they can only tuning the beam"blindly". This is very dangerous, in case of over adjusting the pole, serious damage may be caused. To avoid thiskind of damage, a route limit monitoring system was built in 2012. Using this system, the beam tuning stuff canget the information whether the cutting pole/the high voltage cathode pole is reaching the route limit. If the polehas reached the limit, there will be alarm information in the GUI interface to inform the beam tuning stuff to stopthe motor and change the moving direction. Although this can prevent big damage, precision position detectionfunction cannot be reached, and the SFC extraction electrostatic deflection plate still should be pulled out to checkthe position manually.

Spin ordering in a semiconductor has attracted much attention in the community of condensed matter physics. By combining ferromagnetism and the semiconducting nature, systems such as Mn-doped PbSnTe or InAs were found to exhibit tunable magnetic properties responsive to an externally applied electric field. It thus holds great promises for developing novel spintronics with the tuning-knobs such as gate voltage. Conventionally, those systems are often studied in bulk forms and commonly referred to diluted magnetic semiconductor (DMS).
