efficiency assessment of coal mine safety input by data envelopment analysis

In recent years improper allocation of safety input has prevailed in coal mines in China, which resulted in the frequent accidents in coal mining operation. A comprehensive assessment of the input efficiency of coal mine safety should lead to improved efficiency in the use of funds and management resources. This helps government and enterprise managers better understand how safety inputs are used and to optimize allocation of resources. Study on coal mine＇s efficiency assessment of safety input was con- ducted in this paper. A C^2R model with non-Archimedean infinitesimal vector based on output is established after consideration of the input characteristics and the model properties. An assessment of an operating mine was done using a specific set of input and output criteria. It is found that the safety input was efficient in 2002 and 2005 and was weakly efficient in 2003. However, the efficiency was relatively low in both 2001 and 2004. The safety input resources can be optimized and adjusted by means of projection theory. Such analysis shows that, on average in 2001 and 2004, 45% of the expended funds could have been saved. Likewise, 10% of the safety management and technical staff could have been eliminated and working hours devoted to safety could have been reduced by 12%. These conditions could have Riven the same results.

Land resource depletion causes a range of consequences,such as threats to food security,increasing poverty,and social ***,reasonable and effective land use has become a crucial issue of the nation and localities *** results in Tan Binh commune,Dak Doa district,Gia Lai Province in Vietnam showed that long-term industrial and agricultural land occupies most of the commune's agroforestry *** study also had shown that there are six common land use types(LUTs)in the *** particular,the LUT of pepper cultivation had the highest economic benefit,whereas the LUT of coffee brought the highest social ***,the LUT of chayote was the highest in overall benefits with Ect of 0.93;thus,this LUT should be widely applied throughout Tan Binh *** research results were a crucial scientific basis for proposing a group of suitable plants to local natural conditions to bring effective and sustainable efficiency in land-use types.

This paper analyses the efficiency of internal accounting controls based on support vector machine（SVM） theory by using financial instruments, measurement methods and evaluation of internal accounting controls. The results show that the financial instruments for risk assessment and the efficiency assessment of internal accounting controls can improve the efficiency of financial enterprises’ internal accounting controls. And empirical results show that the measurement of financial instruments based on SVM methods and efficiency evaluation of internal accounting controls is effective, which can achieve quantitative analysis and comprehensive assessment of the financial efficiency of internal accounting controls in a new way.

Due to the existence of dual-role factors,it is difficult to evaluate the production efficiency of two-stage *** single-stage systems,two-stage systems involve intermediate products that serve as both inputs and ***,to overcome existing obstacles,we propose a novel approach called the two-stage enhanced Russell model with dual-role factors(T-ERM-D)to assess the overall efficiency of two-stage production ***,divisional models are developed to evaluate the efficiency of each individual *** 0-1 programming is applied to deal with dual-role *** handle the non-linearity of these models,the Charnes-Cooper transformation is employed to convert them into linear *** the proposed models,we evaluate efficiency scores of 10 supply chains involving suppliers and *** comparing the results obtained from new models with those obtained from models that do not consider dual-role factors,we validate the advantages of the proposed approach.

Evaluation of the operation efficiency of maternity insurance fund --based on DEA method

Maternity insurance fund is an important part of social insurance fund. It plays an important role in safeguarding the rights and interests of pregnant women and improving the welfare of women. With the expansion of the balance of the birth insurance fund, the balance of income and expenditure has become a difficult goal to be reached. Therefore, this paper aims to evaluate the operating efficiency of the birth insurance fund, discover the problems of the birth insurance system, and put forward some suggestions to improve the efficiency of the birth insurance fund and promote the perfection of the birth insurance.
