With expansion of cloud-based applications, it is necessarily for business service provider to deal with how to provision resources to server customers. In cloud download, the service provider faces great challenge on determining when to process job and when to notify the user to meet the conflicting objectives, i.e., the service profit maximization and user satisfaction maximization. An economic model was proposed to find job and notification scheduling strategies for making tradeoffs between user satisfaction and profit of the system, in this model, optimization problems are formulated as follows, profit maximization under a satisfaction target and then satisfaction optimization with a profit bound. By solving these optimization problems, the optimal scheduling strategies are obtained under various quality requirements of service. It is demonstrated that the proposed strategy can obtain better performance than the system without the intelligent scheduling strategy.

A new modern resource management method based on economic model is proposed. Giving mathematic description about economic model; analysis different resource scheduling methods based on deadline and budget constrained which present by Buyya, point out shortcoming of Buyya's schedule method. Considerate integrate factor of time and budget, by import a weight coefficient named a , puts forward a new resource schedule method named STPP based on economic models of Buyya. Contrast to old schedule strategy of Buyya through analysis and experiments, STPP policy is more flexible, and is easy to import other new QoS parameters.

This study explores what determines the selection of strategies by governments responding to *** answer the question,we propose concepts of individual utility and societal utility and build a simple *** applying the model,we predict that countries with an individualist culture would adopt more passive strategies while countries with a collectivist culture would adopt more active *** comparison between strategies adopted in China and in the United Kingdom supports the ***,as the spread of COVID-19 virus continues,governments’response may change and individualist countries may switch to more active *** we extend our model to incorporate the dynamics of strategy selection,and explain the switch between passive and active *** then predict in particular that facing the unexpected infections and deaths,the countries with an individualist culture would temporally adopt a relatively more active strategy responding to *** evidence from Spain shows the dynamic feature of strategy selection as predicted by our model.

With the success of China＇s reform and opening up, increasing attention has been paid to the Chinese model of development both in China and abroad. However, in studying the Chinese model, many scholars, particularly Western ones, have avoided studying China＇s political model. Instead, they have conceptualized the Chinese model of development as a matter of purely economic success. Actually, it is extremely hard to understand the Chinese economic model without discussing the Chinese political model, because it is China＇s political model that has driven the success of its economic model. Many underdeveloped countries face the grave challenge of building a stable political and social structure. There can be no doubt that the political and economic implications of the Chinese model of development provide a valuable lesson in this respect.

When Newspapers Go Mobile： Utilizing the Third Screen to Make a Profit

This paper examines the effect of adding the third screen to current newspaper business models. Newspapers have begun to employ such technologies to bolster audience numbers and to attract more advertisers. The comparison of the old revenue model of newspapers with a new emerging business model utilizing newer technologies allows a framework of a possibly new model to be applied to older models. Media are desperate to gain audiences lost in the past decade and trying to reformulate their current business models to reflect new technology. The way media are framing the third screen as a possible savior to their current business model shows that the media realize the old model of revenue through advertising and subscriptions is antiquated. This paper presents a new business model for media by embracing new technologies and adds to current scholarship of media management in a new technologically inclined world.

The Macedonian economy gets out relatively little hurt by the global economic crisis not facing with financial crisis, the recession was short-lived, and social crisis emerged in modest sizes. However, the global crisis revealed the major weaknesses of the economic model which was implemented. It turned out that the Macedonian economy is very dependent on the performance of only a few sectors and movements on the prices of its most important export and import products, and that the scope of supply and demand for domestic goods and services is small. These lectures from the economic crisis posed by the need to create a new model for country economic development in the future. The application of historical, statistical, analytical and comparative method shows that Macedonia should exercise other holistic approach in the remodeling of their economy. This means that, besides keeping macroeconomic and financial policy in the future the Macedonian government should act more vigorously in the direction of creating new jobs and provide greater social security. The economic model that we propose in this paper recommends it be done by encouraging small and medium enterprises, diversification of production, encouraging domestic investments, developing human capital, improving infrastructure, encouraging exports and harmonization the macroeconomic instruments. The application of this model will result in increasing investments, industrial production and exports, increasing the competitiveness of domestic products, reducing the trade deficit and maintaining the macroeconomic stability. The general conclusion of the paper is that application of the proposed economic model should lead to realization of two most important goals： achieving lasting, sustainable and significantly higher rates of economic growth and reducing the high rate of unemployment in the country.
