eco-environmental water demands for the Baiyangdian Wetland

In recent years,the hydrological characters of Baiyangdian Wetland have changed greatly,which,in turn,influence the biotic component,the structure and function of the wetland *** order to determine the demands for water resources of ecological wetland system,a method of ecological water level coefficient was suggested to calculate the water resources demands for wetland environment *** research showed that the minimum coefficient is 0.94 and the optimal coefficient is more than *** to these two coefficients,the ecological water level and water quantity can be *** results indicate that the amount of the minimal and optimal eco-environmental water require-ments are 0.87×10^(8) and 2.78×10^(8)m^(3) in average monthly,respectively,with the maximum eco-environmental water requirement in summer and the minimum in *** annual change of eco-environment water demand is in accord-ing with the climate change and hydrological *** method of ecological water level emphasizes that wetland ecosystem adapts to the hydrological conditions,so it can be used in practice well.

The Research of ecology-Oriented Reasonable Deployment of water Resources at Shuangtaizi Estuary Wetland

Shuangtaizi estuary wetland, the largest natural conservation district in China, and one of the best preserved, largest ecological lands with the most complete vegetation types in the world, is located in Panjin city, Liaoning Province. In recent years, the degradation of Shuangtaizi estuary wetland is very serious. In order to rescue lives in the wetland and protect valuable natural resources, the information system of Shuangtaizi estuary wetland was built with '3S' technology, and the minimum, optimum, and maximum eco-environmental water requirements were calculated respectively. Furthermore, for restoring the ecological functions of wetland and preventing wetland degradation, the balance between supply and demand of water resource was analyzed , and an optimal allocation scheme of water resources was proposed based on three kinds of equilibrium.

With the rapid economic developments in China,the future water resource developments should be sustainable and that a component of the natural flow of rivers should be reserved to ensure diverse ecological *** last 15 years,ecological instream flow requirements(EIFR)research of river was one of the main and hot fields for eco-hydrology *** this paper,we summarized the research advance of eco-hydrology and also,the conception of the EIFR was also followed and *** ecological instream flow has three main functions:maintain the water ecological environments,dilute pollutants and *** coordinate with the water resource allocation,we evaluated EIFR of Pihe River section in every 12 month of three typical years (1968,1986 and 1987).Pihe River is one of the main waterr sources for the cities in Sichuan Basin and locates in the lower beach of famous Doujiang *** Montana methodology was widely applied in water requirements estimate and proved *** on natural characters of Pihe River,minimum and optimum water requirement of aquatic habitat for the river maintenance were *** water requirement of Pihe River was computed too,which is related with the width of water surface,the river length and evaporation depth. Considering the water quality goal,diluting pollutant water requirement was taken into *** the EIFR of the river of 12 month were ultimateS,*** them,that was 20.64m/s and the minimum eco-environmental water requirement of the river was 25.84m/s.
