Exponential stability analysis of continuous-time almost periodic piecewise linear systems(CTAPPLSs) is addressed in this paper. Since CTAPPLSs are composed of subsystems activated cyclically within a fundamental period, they can be modeled as switched systems with a cyclic switching rule. By introducing the extended systems of orignal systems and employing a multiple discontinuous convex Lyapunov function, some exponential stability criteria are presented. Note that a degree parameter d is contained in these criteria, and that conservatism of stability condition reduces as d increases. Finally, numerical simulations are conducted to show the effectiveness of the proposed results.

This paper addresses the issue of exponential stability of discrete-time almost periodic piecewise linear systems(APPLSs) with dwell time uncertainties under mode-dependent average dwell time(MDADT) switching signal. Considering dwell time uncertainties in discrete-time APPLSs, multiple piecewise convex homogeneous Lyapunov function(MPCHLF) is constructed. In the case where the switching instants within each period are unknown but lie within a certain range, a sufficient exponential stability condition for the discrete-time systems is proposed. Finally, a numerical example validates obtaining low conservatism using the proposed approach.
