One stone two birds:electrochemical and colorimetric dual-mode biosensor based on copper peroxide/covalent organic framework nanocomposite for ultrasensentive norovirus detection

Norovirus(NoV)is regarded as one of the most common causes of foodborne diarrhea in the world.It is urgent to identify the pathogenic microorganism of the diarrhea in short time.In this work,we developed an electrochemical and colorimetric dual-mode detection for NoV based on the excellent dual catalytic properties of copper peroxide/COF-NH_(2)nanocomposite(CuO_(2)@COF-NH_(2)).For the colorimetric detection,NoV can be directly detected by the naked eye based on CuO_(2)@COF-NH_(2)as a laccase-like nonazyme using“peptide-NoV-antibody”recognition mode.The colorimetric assay displayed a wide and quality linear detection range from 1 copy/mL to 5000 copies/mL of NoV with a low limit of detection(LOD)of 0.125 copy/mL.For the electrochemical detection of NoV,CuO_(2)@COF-NH_(2)showed an oxidation peak of copper ion from Cu^(+)to Cu^(2+)using“peptide-NoV-antibody”recognition mode.The electrochemical assay showed a linear detection range was 1-5000 copies/mL with a LOD of 0.152 copy/mL.It's worthy to note that this assay does not need other electrical signal molecule,which provide the stable and sensitive electrochemial detection for NoV.The electrochemical and colorimetric dual-mode detection was used to detect NoV in foods and faceal samples,which has the potential for improving food safety and diagnosing of NoV-infected diarrhea.

CF-BFT:A dual-mode Byzantine Fault-Tolerant Protocol Based on Node Authentication

The consensus protocol is one of the core technologies in blockchain,which plays a crucial role in ensuring the block generation rate,consistency,and safety of the blockchain system.Blockchain systems mainly adopt the Byzantine Fault Tolerance(BFT)protocol,which often suffers fromslow consensus speed and high communication consumption to prevent Byzantine nodes from disrupting the consensus.In this paper,this paper proposes a new dual-mode consensus protocol based on node identity authentication.It divides the consensus process into two subprotocols:Check_BFT and Fast_BFT.In Check_BFT,the replicas authenticate the primary’s identity by monitoring its behaviors.First,assume that the systemis in a pessimistic environment,Check_BFT protocol detects whether the current environment is safe and whether the primary is an honest node;Enter the fast consensus stage after confirming the environmental safety,and implement Fast_BFT protocol.It is assumed that there are 3f+1 nodes in total.If more than 2f+1 nodes identify that the primary is honest,it will enter the Fast_BFT process.In Fast_BFT,the primary is allowed to handle transactions alone,and the replicas can only receive the messages sent by the primary.The experimental results show that the CF-BFT protocol significantly reduces the communication overhead and improves the throughput and scalability of the consensus protocol.Compared with the SAZyzz protocol,the throughput is increased by 3 times in the best case and 60%in the worst case.

A dual-mode complex filter for GNSS receivers with frequency tuning

A fifth/seventh order dual-mode OTA-C complex filter for global navigation satellite system receivers is implemented in a 0.18μm CMOS process.This filter can be configured as the narrow mode of a 4.4 MHz bandwidth center at 4.1 MHz or the wide mode of a 22 MHz bandwidth center at 15.42 MHz.A fully differential OTA with source degeneration is used to provide sufficient linearity.Furthermore,a ring CCO based frequency tuning scheme is proposed to reduce frequency variation.The measured results show that in narrow-band mode the image rejection ratio（IMRR）is 35 dB,the filter dissipates 0.8 mA from the 1.8 V power supply,and the out-of-band rejection is 50 dB at 6 MHz offset.In wide-band mode,IMRR is 28 dB and the filter dissipates 3.2 mA.The frequency tuning error is less than±2%.

A dual-mode 6-9 GHz transmitter for OFDM-UWB

This paper presents a fully integrated dual-mode 6 to 9 GHz transmitter for both WiMedia and China MB-OFDM UWB applications. The proposed transmitter consists of a dual-mode I/Q LPF, an up-conversion mixer, a two-stage power driver amplifier and a broadband high-speed frequency divider with LO buffers for I/Q LO carrier generation. The measurement results show that the gain ripple of the transmitter is within ±1.5/±2.8 dB from 6 to 8.7/9 GHz. The output IP3 is about ＋13.2 dBm, the output 1 dBCP is around ＋2.8 dBm, and the LO leakage/sideband rejection ratio is about-35/-38 dBc. The ESD protected chip is fabricated with a TSMC 0.13 μm RFCMOS process with a die size of 1.6 × 1.3 mm^2 and the core circuit consumes only 46 mA under a 1.2 V supply.

In this study,an experimental setup is designed and built to investigate the feasibility and performance of the proposed dual-mode cascade refrigeration cycle.The apparatus can be operated in two modes:dual-stage mode and single-stage mode such that the low temperature cycle(LTC) can be operated together with the high temperature cycle(HTC) or can run independently.Experimental results validate the feasibility of independent operation of LTC.The performance of the independent operation of LTC mode is theoretically investigated using experimental data as bases.Detailed suggestions are made for the improvement of the coefficient of performance(COP) of the experimental system.Theoretically,high COP of the cycle provides excellent application for the presented refrigeration cycle.

GPS/CAPS dual-mode software receiver

The positioning of the GPS or Chinese Area Positioning System (CAPS) software receiver was developed on a software receiver platform. The structure of the GPS/CAPS dual-mode software receiver was put forward after analyzing the differences in the satellite identification, ranging code, spread spectrum, coordinate system, time system, carrier band, and navigation data between GPS and CAPS. Based on Matlab software on a personal computer, baseband signal processing and positioning procedures were completed using real GPS and CAPS radio frequency signals received by two antennas. Three kinds of experiments including GPS positioning, CAPS positioning, and GPS/CAPS positioning were carried out. Stability and precision of the results were analyzed and compared. The experimental results show that the precision of CAPS is similar to that of GPS, while the positioning precision of the GPS/CAPS dual-mode software receiver is 1-2 m higher than that of CAPS or GPS. The smallest average variance of the positioning can be obtained by using the GPS/CAPS dual-mode software receiver.

The optimal magnetizing fields of the variable polarization effects of ferrite are studied by using thecoupling-wave(cw)theory,vaiational principle and optimization techniques.Several kinds of shapes of themagnetic line of force and some valuable results of the optimal magnetizing field are given.The theoretical cal-culations are in good agreement with the experimental results.

Research and/or Engineering Questions/Objective:Most research of the power-split hybrid vehicle haven’t taken the efficiency of the planetary-gear system which changes according to the gear ratio into account and merely consider the power lose based on the mechanical-electric energy conversion and determined the control strategy.The objective of the study is to achieve optimized management and cooperative control of the power flow by building an exact model of hybrid power system and analyzing the efficiency.Methodology:The mechanical loss of the dual-mode coupling mechanism planetary system is caused by gear mesh,clutch friction,oil seal and bearings.The loss has intimated connection with the parameters of the system status.This chapter has studied the relationship between system parameters and transmission efficiency of planetary transmission in coupling system.It also has built the efficiency model of the planetary transmission in coupling system and amend the model by test.Build a comprehensive efficiency model of the hybrid vehicle,by considering the power loss of engine,battery,motor and other components and mechanical loss of planetary transmission in coupling system,and this model reflects the distribution of the system power flow.So we could achieve the optimized control of system power flow under the requirement of the driver.Results:The planetary transmission efficiency and hybrid vehicle comprehensive efficiency has been described by the functions of system power flow distribution status.By considering of the equivalence relations between battery pack charge/discharge and engine fuel consumption,this chapter has built the optimized model of system power flow control.Limitations of this study:An important limitation of the current study is the calculating of the drag losses of the clutch/brake at very high rotating speed,and the designing of the test bench which should has the ability to measured more than one motor power accurately.So specialize tests of component and corresponding testing equipments

This paper presents a novel triple-band bandpass filter using dual-mode open-loop resonator.The dualmode resonators excite non-degenerate modes by using open-loaded stub.The nature of the dual-mode resonator is investigated through the even-odd mode analysis.Results verify that the central frequency of the proposed filter are1.8GHz,2.4GHz and 3.5GHz,the fractional bandwidth are 20.5%,9.58% and 4%,respectively.At the same time,there are several transmission zeros located at each passband and return losses are greater than 15 dB.It provides the filter with improved selectivity and stopband suppression.A good agreement between simulation and measurement verifies the validity of this design methodology.

＜正＞dual-mode cavity and dielectric resonator filters are the mainstay of satellite communications because they can implement sophisticated and selective filter transfer functions.In this paper,a new generation of planar dual mode filters is introduced which not only in standard rectangular waveguide that can be used to produce asymmetric transfer functions but also offers significant size,weight,and cost advantages over those previous designs.The proposed filter structure can be analyzed and optimized very efficiently using the software CST thus leading to a simple and rapid development procedure.In addition to theory,the measured performance of several filter structures are also presented thereby fully validating the proposed filter concept.
