Second harmonic generation conversion efficiencies of Nd:YCOB and Nd:GdCOB were measured,the effective nonlinear coefficient(de_(ff))for both crystals at different phase-matching angles were estimated by comparison with a KTP *** self-frequency doubling laser performance c£these crystals were theoretically calculated by using these rfeff values and slope efficiency of the fundamental wave and lasing *** results coincide very well.

We demonstrated the generation and characterization of 9.7 fs,180 J pulses centered at 385 nm via the frequency doubling of few-cycle near-infrared *** moderate conversion efficiency(9.5%)and broad phase matching bandwidth(20 nm)were achieved by shaping the spectra of the fundamental *** strong intensity dependence of second-order harmonic generation and well controlled material dispersion ensured the inexistence of satellite pulses,which was confirmed by the self-diffraction frequency resolved optical gating measurement.

The interaction between congo red (CR) and amikacin (AMK) was studied by resonance Rayleigh scattering (RRS), frequency doubling scattering (FDS) and second-order scattering (SOS) combining with absorption spectrum. In a weak acidic medium, CR combined with AMK to form an ion association complex with the composition ratio of 1∶1 by electrostatic interaction, hydrophobicity and charge transferring effect. As a result, the new spectra of RRS, FDS, and SOS appeared and their intensities were enhanced greatly. The maximum wavelengths of RRS, FDS and SOS were located at 563 nm, 475 nm and 940 nm, and the scattering intensities were proportional to the concentration of AMK. These three methods have very high sensitivities, and the detection limits were 4.0 ng·mL?1 for RRS, 3.6 ng·mL?1 for FDS and 1.9 ng·mL?1 for SOS, respectively. At the same time, the methods have better selectivity. A new method for the determination of trace amounts of AMK with congo red by resonance scattering technique has been developed. The recovery for the determination of AMK in blood serum and urine sample was between 95.5% and 105.5%. In this study, the properties, such as enthalpy of formation, charge distribution and mean polarizability, were calculated by AM1 quantum chemistry method. In addition, the reaction mechanism and the reasons for the enhancement of scattering spectra were discussed.

We report the magnetoresistance(MR),de Haas-van Alphen(dHvA) oscillations and the electronic structures of single-crystal *** large unsaturated MR is observed with the magnetic field B ‖ [111].Evident dHvA oscillations with the B ‖ [001] configuration are observed,from which twelve fundamental frequencies are extracted and the spin-orbit coupling(SOC) induced band splitting is *** light cyclotron effective masses are extracted from the fitting by the thermal damping term of the Lifshitz-Kosevich *** with the calculated frequencies from the first-principles calculations,the dHvA frequencies F1/F3 and F11/F12are confirmed to originate from the electron pockets at F and R,*** first-principles calculations also reveal the existence of spin-3/2 Rarita-Schwinger-Weyl fermions and time-reversal doubling of the spin-1 excitation at Γ and R with large Chern numbers of ±4 when SOC is included.

The small-world network model represented by a set of evolution equations with time delay is used to investigate the nonlinear dynamics of networks,and the nature of instability phenomena in traffic,namely,congestion and bursting in the networks,are studied and explained from bifurcation ***,the governing equation in the vector field is further reduced into a map,and the ensuing period-doubling bifurcation,sequence of perioddoubling bifurcation and period-3 are studied *** existence of chaos is verified *** particular,the influences of time delay on the nonlinear dynamics are *** results show that there are a rich variety of nonlinear dynamics related to the intermittency of the traffic flows in the system,and the results can gain a fundamental understanding of the instability in the networks,and the time delay can be used as a key parameter in the control of the systems.
