Disagreements about language use are common both between and within *** interests require multidisciplinary collaboration or the field of research has the potential to impact society at large,it becomes critical to minimize these disagreements where *** development of diverse intelligent systems,regardless of the substrate(e.g.,silicon ***),is a case where both conditions are *** advancements have occurred in the development of technology progressing toward these diverse intelligence *** progress is silicon based,such as the use of large language models,or through synthetic biology methods,such as the development of organoids,a clear need for a community-based approach to seeking consensus on nomenclature is now ***,we welcome collaboration from the wider scientific community,proposing a pathway forward to achieving this intention,highlighting key terms and fields of relevance,and suggesting potential consensus-making methods to be applied.

To date,many plants explored for their endospheric microbiomes have revealed a substantial amount of sterile mycelia,a group of fungi with pseudo-taxonomic *** unravelling the endophytic fungal assemblages of a plant Ephedra gerardiana *** *** culturedependent methods,73.2%of the total isolates failed to sporulate on the commonly used artificial ***,the current study was designed to investigate the diverse methods,either individually or in combination to check their impact in inducing fungal *** maximum number of isolates(N_(max))sporulated after individual treatments with 12 h alternate light and dark cycles and cold shocks at 4−6℃were 22.91%and 18%,***,the combination of cold treatment with alternate light and dark cycles showed the N_(max)of 27.84%and proved to be the best method of sporulation induction out of the methods *** the best of our knowledge,this involves the pioneering attempt of using cold treatment as a triggering factor for sporulating endophytic *** better methods for endophytic fungal sporulation would not only solve the taxonomic position of these mycosymbionts,but also lessen the time to make them sporulate along with unveiling their eco-physiological behavior inside the host plant.

Methyl-CpG-binding domain(MBD)proteins are important DNA methylation readers that recognise methylated CpG sites and recruit histone deacetylase(HDAC)complexes and chromatin remodelling factors,leading to chromatin compaction,gene transcription,and genome ***,MBD genes have only been identified in a few plant species and their structure and function in tea plants(Camellia sinensis)are *** this study,16 *** MBD genes(CsMBD)were identified on a genome-wide level and classified into eight *** CsMBD genes were mapped on nine chromosomes in tea plants,and nine pairs of CsMBD genes *** on conserved domain analysis,all of the identified CsMBD proteins contained at least one MBD *** analyses showed that CsMBD genes were expressed in tissue-and organ-specific *** investigated the expression patterns of CsMBD genes in response to abiotic and biotic stresses and during different plant growth and development *** pthytohormone and stress-related cis-acting was evaluated in their promoter region,such as GGTCA,TGACG,ABRE and *** CsMBD genes were associated with environmental stresses and developmental stages,with little ***,our findings reveal the diverse roles of CsMBD genes under different stress and developmental conditions,highlighting candidate genes for further functional studies on tea plants.

The high-power laser energy research(HiPER)project was a European project for demonstrating the feasibility of inertial fusion energy based on using direct-drive targets in a shock ignition scheme using a drywall evacuated *** was intended to drive the transition from a scientific proof of principle to a demonstration power plant in *** project was divided into three realistic scenarios(Experimental,Prototype,and Demo)to help identify open problems and select appropriate technologies to solve *** of the problems identified was the lack of appropriate plasma-facing materials(PFMs)for the reaction ***,a major challenge was to develop radiation-resistant materials able to withstand the large thermal loads and radiation in these *** this paper,we describe the main threats that coarse-grained Wwould face in the diverse HiPER *** on purely thermomechanical considerations,theWlifetimes for the HiPER Prototype and Demo scenarios are limited by fatigue to 14000 h and 28 h,*** combined effects of thermal load and atomistic damage significantly reduce these lifetimes to just∼1000 shots for the Experimental scenario and a few minutes and seconds for the Prototype and Demo scenarios,***,coarse-grainedWis not an appropriatePFMfor the Prototype or Demo ***,alternatives to this material need to be ***,we review some of the different approaches that are being investigated,highlight the work done to characterize these new materials,and suggest further experiments.

With the rapid development of modem teaching technology, teaching equipment in university has been greatly changed. Some university classrooms have been equipped with modem multimedia classrooms, computers, printers, scanners, recorders, projectors, digital cameras and other advanced electrical teaching equipment; which encourage teachers to collect and accumulate example materials and make auxiliary teaching of multimedia courseware. The teaching methods of pictures, texts, sound, dynamics and colors make the original boring teaching content, which is difficult to understand, become intuitive, vivid and easy to understand. It promotes students＇ positive thinking and stimulates students＇ potential, so as to greatly improve students＇ leaming enthusiasm.

Rapid and Reliable Method of High-Quality RNA Extraction from diverse Plants

The isolation of high quality RNA is a crucial technique in plant molecular biology. The quality of RNA determines the reliability of downstream process like real time PCR. In this paper, we reported a high quality RNA extraction protocol for a variety of plant species. Our protocol is time effective than traditional RNA extraction methods. The method takes only an hour to complete the procedure. Spectral measurement and electrophoresis were used to demonstrate RNA quality and quantity. The extracted RNA was further used for cDNA synthesis, expression analysis and copy number determination through Real Time PCR. The results indicate that RNA was of good quality and fit for real time PCR. This high throughput plant RNA extraction protocol can be used to isolate high quality RNA from diverse plants for real time PCR and other downstream applications.

无人机遥感影像具有像幅小、几何变形大、重叠不均等特殊性,给影像信息的提取提出了难题。该文提出基于diverse AdaBoost改进SVM的分类方法,采用RBFSVM作为AdaBoost的弱分类器,达到自适应调整参数的目的,同时引入复杂度,解决弱分类器精确度与复杂度的平衡问题。最后,利用提出的改进算法分别对汉旺镇、林趴镇无人机遥感影像进行了道路、建筑物的提取,平均提取精度均达到95%以上,与采用SVM算法的提取结果进行比较,该方法能精确提取无人机影像信息。
