An overview of recent progress in high-order nonholonomic chained system control and distributed coordination

This paper reviews some main results and progress concerning with nonholonomic system control,especially focusing on the networked chained system coordination.The controllability of nonholonomic system,the control method of nonholonomic system,the chained form transformation,the basic graph theory for multi-agent systems are recalled,respectively.Some important definitions,lemmas,theorems and dynamics are elaborated.Both the consensus and formation control problems for networked nonholonomic chained systems are summarised.Finally,some open questions are proposed.

distributed Robust Energy and Reserve Dispatch for Coordinated Transmission and Active Distribution Systems

The increasing penetration of renewable energy sources introduces higher requirements for the operation flexibility of transmission system(TS) and connected active distribution systems(DSs). This paper presents an efficient distributed framework for the TS and DSs to work cooperatively yet independently. In addition to conventional power interaction, upward and downward reserve capacities are exchanged to form the feasible access regions at the boundaries that apply to different system operation situations. A distributed robust energy and reserve dispatch approach is proposed under this framework. The approach utilizes the supply-and demand-side resources in different systems to handle various uncertainties and improve overall efficiency and reliability. In particular, integrated as aggregated virtual energy storage(AVES) devices, air-conditioning loads are incorporated into the optimal dispatch. In addition, a reserve model with charging/discharging-state elasticity is developed for AVESs to enhance system flexibility and provide additional reserve support. Different cases are compared to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach.

An energy efficient, scalable and collision free MAC protocol, DTFMM, is presented in this paper, which combines frequency and time division principles for medium sharing. It is based on clustered network topology, and the protocol employs a distributed local coordinate algorithm for assigning channels among clusters to enable simultaneous non-interfering data collection. Intra-cluster transmissions are scheduled by cluster head(CH) based on time slot. CHs aggregate the gathered data and forward it over inter-CH paths to the base-station based on minimum spanning tree routing. Distinct channels are adopted by the independent branches of the inter-CH routing tree. Data transmission on a branch is further scheduled in depth-first ordering. DTFMM allows nodes to stay in sleeping mode for the longest duration and thus it minimizes energy consumption. Simulation demonstrated superiority of DTFMM in terms of convergent rate, throughput and delay performance when compared with well-known protocol MMSN.

＜正＞In this paper,we consider distributed coordination of discrete-time second-order multi-agent systems with limited communication data-rate.The position of each agent is measurable,while the velocity is not.A quantized-observer based encoding-decoding scheme is proposed,which integrates the state observation with channel coding/decoding.A distributed coordinated control law is proposed based on the states and outputs of the encoders and decoders.By converting the closed-loop nonlinear system into a linear system with disturbance,sufficient conditions on the control gains and network topology for the existence of finite-level quantizers to ensure the closed-loop convergence are given,and it is shown that these conditions are also necessary in some sense.It is proved that,by selecting the number of quantization levels（data-rate） properly,the asymptotic synchronization of the positions and velocities can be achieved.
