Lithium ion batteries are complicated distributed parameter systems that can be described preferably by partial differential equations and a field theory. To reduce the solution difficulty and the calculation amount, if a distributed parameter system is described by ordinary differential equations （ODE） during the analysis and the design of distributed parameter system, the reliability of the system description will be reduced, and the systemic errors will be introduced. Studies on working condition real-time monitoring can improve the security because the rechargeable LIBs are widely used in many electronic systems and electromechanical equipment. Single particle model （SPM） is the simplification of LIB under some approximations, and can estimate the working parameters of a LIB at the faster simulation speed. A LIB modelling algorithm based on PDEs and SPM is proposed to monitor the working condition of LIBs in real time. Although the lithium ion concentration is an unmeasurable distributed parameter in the anode of LIB, the working condition monitoring model can track the real time lithium ion concentration in the anode of LIB, and calculate the residual which is the difference between the ideal data and the measured data. A fault alarm can be triggered when the residual is beyond the preset threshold. A simulation example verifies that the effectiveness and the accuracy of the working condition real-time monitoring model of LIB based on PDEs and SPM.

This paper considers the state observation for a class of distributed parameter systems(DPSs)with moving boundaries modelled by parabolic partial differential equations(PDEs).The method of mobile observation is presented to improve the observation performance of the systems and to eliminate the influence of moving boundaries on system observation with the aids of mobile sensor networks(MSNs).The MSNs which can move throughout the time-dependent spatial domain are used to provide the spatially averaged observations of the *** using the abstract evolution equation theory of parabolic PDEs and the Lyapunov stability arguments,a centralised observer is designed and a mobile control scheme for each of the mobile sensors is presented while taking account of the dynamics of the MSNs.A numerical example is finally presented to illustrate the effectiveness and the advantages of the proposed approach.

We use perturbation analysis of semigroup and Lyapunov theory to study the stabilization of the uncertain systems under simple and fundamental assumptions.

State estimation for distributed-parameter system——Invariant embedding

In the paper, a novel method for identification of distributed parameter system（DPS） with recurrent trajectory via deterministic learning is proposed. The system dynamics rather than the system parameters or system structure is identified,which is completely different from the existing literature. The DPS, which is often described by partial differential equation（PDE）, is first transformed into a set of ordinary differential equations（ODEs） by using a special case of finite difference method,method of lines. Then, the system dynamics at each discrete node is identified by using deterministic learning. Without loss of generality, the DPS dynamics at any spatial point in the spatial domain Ω can also be accurately identified by using the proposed method. It will be more appropriate for DPS identification in many physical systems whose both structure and parameters are unknown. Simulation results have shown the feasibility and efficient of the proposed method.

An iterative learning control problem for a class of uncertain linear parabolic distributed parameter systems is discussed,which covers many processes such as heat and mass transfer,convection diffusion and *** condition of allowing system state initially to have error in the iterative process a closed-loop P-type iterative learning algorithm is presented,and the sufficient condition of tracking error convergence in L2 norm is ***,the convergence of the tracking error in L2 and W1,2 space is proved by using Gronwall-Bellman inequality and Sobolev *** the end,a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper discusses the identification for the distributed parameter system of gas reservoirs with heterogeneous carbonate matrices. Based on the relationship between the ad hoc function and the geological feature, we set up a general model with double porous structure, clarify its effect and significance, and present a series of results of system identifications, including the basic content and methods, stabilizing functional and parameter identifiability etc. Using the perturbation of spectra of self-adjoint operators, the identifiability of the porosities and the ad hoc coefficient is demonstrated for the general structure model. This project indicates that the identification of a distributed parameter system involves parameters, boundary position and structure.

This paper considers the parameter estimation and stabilization of an unstable one-dimen- sional wave equation with matched general harmonic disturbance at the controlled end. The back- stepping method for infinite-dimensional system is adopted in the design of the adaptive regulator. It is shown that the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable.
