Recent progress in visualization and digitization of coherent transformation structures and application in high-strength steel

High-strength steels are mainly composed of medium-or low-temperature microstructures,such as bainite or martensite,with coherent transformation *** type of microstructure has a high density of dislocations and fine crystallographic structural units,which ease the coordinated matching of high strength,toughness,and ***,given its excellent welding perform-ance,high-strength steel has been widely used in major engineering constructions,such as pipelines,ships,and ***,visual-ization and digitization of the effective units of these coherent transformation structures using traditional methods(optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy)is difficult due to their complex ***,the establishment of quantitative relationships with macroscopic mechanical properties and key process parameters presents additional *** article reviews the latest progress in microstructural visualization and digitization of high-strength steel,with a focus on the application of crystallographic methods in the development of high-strength steel plates and *** obtained the crystallographic data(Euler angle)of the transformed microstruc-tures through electron back-scattering diffraction and combined them with the calculation of inverse transformation from bainite or martensite to austenite to determine the reconstruction of high-temperature parent austenite and orientation relationship(OR)during con-tinuous cooling ***,visualization of crystallographic packets,blocks,and variants based on actual OR and digit-ization of various grain boundaries can be effectively completed to establish quantitative relationships with alloy composition and key process parameters,thereby providing reverse design guidance for the development of high-strength steel.

This study investigates the role of financial literacy(FL),perceived access to finance(PAF),information communication technology(ICT)usage,and digitization in alleviating the level of credit constraint that micro,small,and medium enterprises(MSMEs)face in an emerging *** draw on the economic research theories of human capital,knowledge-based view,and lifecycle hypothesis to explain the relationship between the *** survey data collected from 333 MSME importers in Qatar—a country with heavy reliance on foreign goods—we find strong evidence that FL,PAF,ICT usage,and digitization are key determinants of Qatari MSME access to *** particular,PAF and FL are significant and have their expected signs in almost all the Probit *** ICT usage and digitization,although they are key determinants of credit constraints,the findings are more sensitive and dependent on the type of financing and the resulting type of credit constraint.

digitization characteristics of geothermal information and structural analysis of 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Ms9.0 earthquake

Earthquake is one of the difficult problems that can not be solved as of this writing since the time when mod- em science was initiated over 300 years ago, and irregular events cannot be dealt with by using quantities examples before and followed by a view of the number of analysis systems in modem science ; meanwhile, it covers the problem that how to use changeable information. Structural analysis method is developed particularly for the study of evolutionary transitional processes of the changing events by employing irregular information, and emphasizes the primitiveness of changes in events. Based on the data of sounding observation every 08 o＇ clock and 20 o＇ clock per day from China Meteorological Administration, in this paper, we employ the digital structural analysis method to analyze the process of the special, structural characteristics of 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Ms9.0 earthquake. The result shows that the method can reflect the process of geothermal structures before and after earthquake; it can reflect the congruity between geothermal ＂heat level＂ and the level of earthquake energy. When the structure before the earthquake is ＂the counter clockwise rolling current and the unstable structures＂ with ＂dry in lower levels and wet in upper levels＂, we should be worry about the problem of earthquake. In a word, geothermal information could reveal that earthquakes really would be ＂heralded＂.

From Transitions to Transformation: A Brief Review of the Potential Impacts of COVID-19 on Boosting digitization, Digitalization, and Systems Thinking in the Built Environment

In a short time, during the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, we managed to shift rapidly to use digital technologies and replace some of our daily operations with virtual modes. This shift happened so instantly and widely that it enables us to argue that the COVID-19 became a valid reason to boost some of the gradual and ongoing transitions towards faster transformations. In this study, we use gray literature to delve into arguments around the boost for digitization, digitalization, and systems thinking in the development of the built environment. This is mostly discussed from the influence of COVID-19 on some of the existing practices or the business-as-usual of the built environment sector. From technological advancement to technology use, these arguments are put forward to discuss what is likely to be the major driver of technological adoption and the shifting paradigms that are yet to be revealed. The study concludes that the current push towards new directions and development pathways are likely to be widely accepted in a shorter time. The findings of this brief study feed into existing arguments on transformative pathways due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Structural analysis of information digitization on process of Dujiangyan area in Sichuan earthquake(Ms 5.0)

This paper attempts to analyze geothermy revealed by the sounding data at 8 h and 20 h every day from China Meteorological Administration and the data counted per minute such as the wellhead temperature,the electromagnetic disturbance,the ground tilt and so of water level instrument in Sanxing of Chengdu with the method of information *** result shows the recognizable differentiation of the change process before and after the earthquake,provides an analytic method for the improvement of earthquake prediction or prevention,and shows the feasible further research and the wide application prospect.

Vector Extraction from Design Drawings for Intelligent 3D Modeling of Transmission Towers

Accurate vector extraction from design drawings is required first to automatically create 3D models from pixel-level engineering design drawings. However, this task faces the challenges of complicated design shapes as well as cumbersome and cluttered annotations on drawings, which interfere with the vector extraction heavily. In this article, the transmission tower containing the most complex structure is taken as the research object, and a semantic segmentation network is constructed to first segment the shape masks from the pixel-level drawings. Preprocessing and postprocessing are also proposed to ensure the stability and accuracy of the shape mask segmentation. Then, based on the obtained shape masks, a vector extraction network guided by heatmaps is designed to extract structural vectors by fusing the features from node heatmap and skeleton heatmap, respectively. Compared with the state-of-the-art methods, experiment results illustrate that the proposed semantic segmentation method can effectively eliminate the interference of many elements on drawings to segment the shape masks effectively, meanwhile, the model trained by the proposed vector extraction network can accurately extract the vectors such as nodes and line connections, avoiding redundant vector detection. The proposed method lays a solid foundation for automatic 3D model reconstruction and contributes to technological advancements in relevant fields.
