In this paper,we study the stochastic partial differential equation with two reflecting smooth walls h^1 and h^2,driven by a fractional noise,which is fractional in time and white in space.The large deviation principle for the law of the solution to this equation,will be established through developing a classical method.Furthermore,we obtain the H?lder continuity of the solution.

The application of frequency distribution statistics to data provides objective means to assess the nature of the data distribution and viability of numerical models that are used to visualize and interpret data.Two commonly used tools are the kernel density estimation and reduced chi-squared statistic used in combination with a weighted mean.Due to the wide applicability of these tools,we present a Java-based computer application called KDX to facilitate the visualization of data and the utilization of these numerical tools.

Radix Astragali,one of the most popular herbs in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),is used to strengthen the immune system,protect liver function,fight bacteria and viruses,and treat diabetes,heart failure and seasonal allergies.In recent years,a new form of Radix Astragali material processed by cell wall disrupting technology,namely ultrafine granular powder(UGP)has been introduced into the market.In order to determine chemical consistency and homogeneity of the UGP material prepared from sliced traditional materials(TM)of Radix Astragali,multiple batches of the UGP and TM samples derived from Astragalus membranaceus var.mongholicus were analyzed by UHPLC/DAD-MS using isoflavones and triterpenoid glycosides as marker compounds.The results demonstrated that the chemical profiles of UGP was identical or similar to that of TM,but UGP was highly homogeneous in terms of marker compound contents as assessed,e.g.,by the relative standard deviation values of the nine marker compounds in the range of 8.55%−43.80%for TM2 compared against 1.70%−8.38%for UGP2.Macromolecular component preparation and 1H NMR analyses indicated that TM4 and its corresponding UGP4 produced similar polysaccharides,but the later had approximately two-fold dissolution rate of the polysaccharides when compared to the former(yield 7.22±0.35%vs 3.39±0.20%).This study confirms that UGP of Radix Astragali is chemically consistent and homogenous,supporting its use as a promising material in TCM prescriptions.

AIM To review and study the effect of lengthening along the anatomical axis of long bones and its relation to the mechanical axis deviation.METHODS We try in this review to calculate and discuss the exact clinical impact of lengthening along the anatomical axis of the femur on affecting the limb alignment. Also we used a trigonometric formula to predict the change of the femoral distal anatomical mechanical angle(AMA) after lengthening along the anatomical axis. RESULTS Lengthening along the anatomical axis of the femur by 10% of its original length results in reduction in the distal femoral AMA by 0.57 degrees. There is no objective experimental scientific data to prove that the Mechanical axis is passing via the center of the hip to the center of the knee. There is wide variation in normal anatomical axis for different populations. In deformity correction, surgeons try to reproduce the normal usual bone shape to regain normal function, which is mainly anatomical axis. CONCLUSION Lengthening of the femur along its anatomical axis results in mild reduction of the distal femoral AMA. This may partially compensate for the expected mechanical axis lateralisation and hence justify its minimal clinical impact.

The DTL tank is a multi-cell cavity. In a fabricated tank, the measured average axial field Eo for each cell may obviously deviate from the designed value. It is generally thought the deviation is due to the errors in fabrication and assembly. But it is not always true. In this paper, it is shown that the deviation may already exist before fabrication in some cases. It is partly due to the imperfection of the current design procedures. A new design method is introduced to reduce the deviation in the design stage.

A model for electrons confined in narrow conducting channels in the presense of a magnetic field is presented which takes into account a cut-off in the filling of the subbands.Such a cut-off gives rise to energy separated subbands resulting in a relation between sublevel index n and inverse magnetic field B^(-1) such that in the high field regime it envolves into an original form as in a 2D case and in the moderate field regime it shows pronounced deviation horn linearity.

A series of medical and biological studies have identified a strong link between the season during which a child is born and early childhood development and adult health.While providing an explanation for the seasonal determinants of birth remains one of the key challenges for demographers,understanding seasonal birth peaks and troughs can inform both public health planning and efforts to prevent childhood diseases.The seasonality of births varies across and within countries.Nonetheless,there has been scant research into the seasonality of births in China.This study takes an in depth look at the seasonal fluctuations in China’s births since 1960 and investigates the effects on seasonality of several key factors such as parity,residence(urban or rural area),and changes to fertility policies.Traditionally,winter has been the peak season of births in China,while spring and summer have been lean seasons,a pattern which is quite different than patterns in Europe and the United States.After 1990,the sweeping implementation of one-child policy and the wider use of modern contraceptives among Chinese women prompted a fundamental shift in the seasonality of births,with the deviation of births from month to month gradually diminishing over time.People’s self-control may serve as a key determinant accounting for such seasonal changes.First births exhibit pronounced and steady seasonality,while second and subsequent births follow a vague seasonal pattern,suggesting that later births are more likely affected by self-choice and self-intervention.The analysis also reveals that the monthly distribution pattern of second births experienced a dramatic change following the roll-out of the selective-two-child policy and the Universal Two-child Policy in 2014 and 2016,changes that reflects the adjustments people made to achieve their fertility plans under the new policy.

An effective vacuum melting technique based on the improved vacuum degassing technique was used to produce thick-walled seamless pipes of 9Cr-1Mo-V-Nb-N martensitic heat resistant steels in order to reduce the contents of harmful impurity such as oxygen, phosphorus. Then the pipe was heat treated by using optimized process technique. Both static and dynamic mechanical properties at room temperature and 566℃ were measured respectively and evaluated by means of comprehensive analysis of standard deviation and statistic test. The results show that the comprehensive mechanical properties of this pipe are much better than those of pipes untreated with the improved vacuum degassing technique and heat-treated by using original heat-treatment process and almost the same as those of imported P91 thick-walled seamless steel pipe.
